A soft chuckle left Sora's lips when he noticed Kairi's shyness. He felt shy himself, which was something he hadn't experienced for a little while. Being with Riku for four months had taught him to be bold, and being shy was the opposite of that. It felt strange, going back to an old habit like that.

Sora tilted his head slightly, trying to read Kairi's expression. He had been getting better at it lately, the teen relearning how to read the girl he loved. Judging by her facial expression now, she wanted to say something, but instead, she was staying silent.
Okie dokie, you know when you'll be back?
Sora felt a soft smile appear on his lips as he met Kairi's gaze. "My pleasure," he said softly. Even if the circumstances that pulled them together weren't that great, he was glad to spend the night so close to her. Waking up that morning had been the best part, looking down and seeing the girl he loved in his arms. The sight of it had brought a smile to his lips at the time, making him feel warm inside.
Yeah, I get what you mean. We could fit that in before Sora takes Kairi home.
"Yeah, Kai?" Sora responded, the volume of his voice matching hers. He glanced down at her, his gaze resting there even though he could see that Kairi wasn't looking back at him.
I figured he could live with Sora for now and stay in the guest bedroom. xD
"Mm," Sora hummed, nodding faintly as he looked down at the end of his bed. He considered talking to Kairi right now about everything, but she had just woken up; he didn't think she would like having anything sprung on her when she was still a little sleepy. Right?
So maybe we could do the Namine and Roxas one first; during that time, Sora and Riku can just hang out and Kairi can sleep a little more in Sora's...
"I slept good," Sora said with a soft nod, keeping his eyes on Kairi. He had been very comfortable, and surely it was because of the girl he was with now. His injuries weren't even bothering him, which surprised him a little bit. However, he wasn't going to complain; he was fine with not experiencing pain for a little while.

Sora waited for a few more moments, hearing nothing but silence but sensing that Kairi was awake. "Morning," he said softly, lifting his gaze to the wall once again. He wasn't surprised that she woke up; she had been asleep for a while. He didn't know what time it was, but he felt as if it was late morning.
