I totally disagree. I think people should remember birthdays and anniversaries. I'm not saying you have to get an extravagant gift for your significant other, but remembering and going out to dinner on Valentine's Day is more than enough for me. I don't have high standards and I don't need gifts all of the time, but I like my birthday to be remembered as much as the next person. And hey, if you don't want to remember mine don't expect me to care when yours comes around buddy. This just bothers me a little because I know most women are like this, but I'm not like this. For one thing beer > handbags. I have a cool satchel thing that I bring everywhere and it's enough for me. Also I don't have many shoes/clothes. I am satisfied with less.
