"Come on Riku, let's go!" Sora said as he walked into the portal. Back at the Scar cave dark clouds appeared overhead forming a tornado and when it dispersed there stood Sora but not the Sora from this time. "Ahhh, I remember this place. This where that Scar cat used to live before I did some "Housekeeping". Now to find that good for nothing old man and make sure he doesn't change what will happen!" He then walked up to approach Scar...
"I suppose so. You still want to come Riku?" OOC: Short post is short
"Alright Riku! I promised to help someone named Marluxia who used to be part of Organization XIII but he says he left and turned good so I promised to help him get his heart back." OOC: Yeah that's why I'm trying to put the ball in Droid's court so to say.
Sora perked up at that. "You right Riku, we can change it! Maybe we make the future a better place for everyone to live where light and darkness can exist side-by-side in balance!" "But as happy as I am to see you Riku, I'm needed elsewhere. I made a promise to someone to help them and I won't go back on my word." In the future... "And he's gone again. Give the man this, he knows when he's fighting a losing battle. But now it seems I must dirty my hands again. OH WELL!" Holding up the X-Blade, a cloud gathered around Sora and when it dissipated he was gone...
"Wrong with me." "Two keyblades. Powerful. Is that what I am? A monster waiting to be unleashed?" "Riku...Is he okay? Is what he said true about me? Will I become that...monster?"
In the past... Sora saw Riku reappear in front of him where rushed to hug him. "Riku! Are you okay? He didn't hurt you did he?" In the future... The battle had only started a few minutes ago and already Xehanort was losing badly. The X-Blade was just too strong for him even though he had already fused with his heartless and nobody to gain their powers. "Huh...Huh...Huh...I see you've haven't lost you touch while I've been away." "Nether have you but I've always held the upper hand in this fight from the get-go but I don't get to play often and you make the perfect punching bag!" Xehanort blocked the blade causing shockwaves to reverberate around them but the last attack forced Xehanort to back away as he was still weak from traveling through time. "You've lost old man. Time to send you to permanent oblivion!! "Not yet!" Using the last of his power Xehanort sent himself through time once again but due to his massive loss of power he was unable to pick a time to emerge at and upon reappearing he collapsed on the ground.
"Poor delusional Riku, I am Sora. If you recall I'm just better off now that the world is under my order. Yoda was foolish to try and oppose me, you were as well my pet. I gave you every comfort in the world to make you happy and this is how you repay me. I loved you like a brother. Come back to me and we shall discuss this over a nice dinner and afterwards we can remember the good times we had fighting Scar, killing Sebasteian while Ceil watched in horror and my personal favorite: Marluxia trying to control and strip my powers only to fail miserably but I guess I should thank himm as it was him that made all this possible." He then turned to Xehanort. "Xehanort. I thought you would learn to stay out of my path after I banished you to the end of time." "Well I am a slow learner." "Guess I'll have to remind you why I am ruler of this world and all bow before my power!" Sora then summoned the X-Blade to his hand and prepared to fight. "Riku, we can't beat him. I'll hold him off for as long as I can and will meet up with you later! I've opened a portal back to the past just past the city gates!" Xehanort then summoned his blades and prepared to fight the tyrannical Sora. "Run, run as fast as you can I'll catch you and tear your legs off! HAHAHAHAHA!" OOC: Battle music time! OOC: Thanks, happened to be listening to it and it fit what can I say? They approached the center of the ruined city where they passed along various tombstones. "These were the lucky ones who didn't live to see what became of their world, families and friends." He then pointed to the tallest tower in the city. "This was the old Jedi Temple but now it serves as Sora's chamber of command as there are still pockets of resistance to his rule. Yoda died valiantly defending his home and in order to buy time for the younglings to escape." That's when said dictator decided to jump down in front of the two. He cracked a grin like Sora but this smile was stained by decades of bloodshed and pain. "Narrating my glorious conquest have you? Riku, what are you doing out of your cage? Looks like someone isn't getting fed tonight."

"But the better question is when. it's been 25 years since the war started. By fusing the remainder of light in his heart as well as the darkness he created the X-Blade and began what my older self wanted. Another Keyblade War only this one would involve non-welders as well. Thousands dead and others forced labor and he now controls both the heartless, nobodies, and unversed. Now let's explore a little bit more shall we?"
"I would expect no less from the former host of Ansem." Xehanort then walked through the portal after Riku to the same point and time he took Sora. He pointed towards the burned out city under Kingdom Hearts and the throne. "Would you like a closer look?"
Which is why and this is my personal Sora fanboy talking but I don't want him to get corrupted by the darkness. But my story-telling side and writer says this NEEDS to happen as I feel Sora as much as I love him is a little two dimensional and is in SERIOUS need of some character development.
I'm split two ways on this. Half of me says she deserve it, after he spends all that money to upgrade it and she does the equivalent of spitting in his face I say she needs a hard dose of reality. The other half says this was unnecessary, that she has a right to vent her frustrations and not be chastised for it, I'd prefer writing or vocalizing how one feels than one's fists. And to destroy the laptop instead of selling it is wrong and typical cowboy or redneck behavior. This might teach her a lesson but it's more likely to make her rebel even more and hate her father and there's no worse failing for a parent then for their kin to resent them and wish for them to die.
I think this is a great theory but let's be honest with ourselves, Sora is THE main character he's going to get the mark of mastery. Now before anyone starts calling me pessimistic let me state this: I love Dark Sora stories or ones where he undergoes growth and forced to change which adds more dimension to his personality like for example, wonder why he smiles all the time? I don't think it's just because he's happy. I love this theory and while I hope it doesn't happen I'm all for throwing curveballs at the player. So I support/disapprove this theory.
"Why Riku, I'm hurt. Did it ever occur to you I'm trying to make amends for the wrong doings of my older self, Ansem, and Xemnas? But if it's proof you want..." Xehanort then opened a portal for Riku. "Come with me and you will see what is in store for Sora if you won't take my words."
"Once more the wheels of fate begin to turn...Sora is to become a tyrant by his own ends and choices, those who were once his friends and allies shall ether die by his hand or suffer enslavement. You included as you will become his pet. As for who I am..." The figure lowered his hood revealing white hair, tan skin, and yellow eyes. "You have met me as Ansem and Xemnas. I am Xehanort more specifically his younger self." "Riku!" Sora exclaimed as he stood up still shaken to know the future that awaited him to see his best friend once again. He turned towards Ceil. "Who is your master?" Sora asked. Xehanort also walked over to Riku. "I wish to apologize for Ansem possessing you years ago. Perhaps you and I could, work together alongside Sora to prevent this future from happening."
