Varraki's first shot hit it's intended target and the blade that was going for the red cloaked girl fell to the ground. However the opponent faced him, he hadn't expected it to be a killing shot either. However what happened then happened rather quickly. Varraki had been alligning his next shot when the great construct took hold of his quarry. Then however yet another foe appeared out of bloody nowhere and struck the construct forcing it to drop the woman that nearly killed the red cloaked girl. He had to make a decision now and he decided to fire more on his original target, alligning shot after shot going for as much acuracy as possible in the circumstances and if Veera would close too much it was time for spray and pray.
Adalwulf was chasing the mage down the street then all of a sudden bats came out of ****ing nowhere in the middle of the day. This was heresy! Magic was at work here bats stayed in during the day everyone and their grandmum knew it. He tripped upon the uneven cobbles, fell and covered his face to keep the bats away from his fast. When he was getting back up a man tackled him to the ground and immediatly got a knife put to his throat. He looked at Vyle without fear in his eyes. "Mage? What Mage? I don't know what the feck yer on about." He said, not able to keep the fear out of his voice but that was simply because of the creepy bloke on top of him. Spoiler: More Milosh not being nice, be warned kiddies Milosh paced around the room as she finally decided to start spilling. A smile appeared on his face Solomon the necromancer eh? Well then ain't that the newsflash well atleast they got a name for the ******* now. "See I just wanted to talk." He said putting the turka away. He had savoured the sound of her screams which echoed through the room. She sang so beautifully. "So this Solomon got an idea where I can find him?" He asked her the tone of his voice sounded more kind but it was forced. "Don't cry, little dove, it's okay just tell Uncle Milosh everything and you'll be fine." Again there was no sinceretiy in it. He just wanted his answers and he wanted them quickly, he had other business to deal with and as much as he loved to make this lovely little birdy sing he wanted to get to this other business. He walked over to the table picked the turka up again and another little favourite of his to use in combination, a little wooden frame with a dimeritium screw in it. The frame had holes in it to have a finger put into it and the screw could be tightened. Normally it was just for pressure on the finger, Milosh however had this one specificly made and had the screw end in a pointy end. He placed it over the nailless middle finger and tightened turned the screw a little the pointdigging into Ana's flesh as he once more prepared to break a symbol. This time it was the symbol of promises, the pinky finger. Her little soft pinky finger would be next on his list. Another icon destroyed. Veceslav held the girl down as she gritted her teeth and retored it was easier for them to say and well she was right. He let go of her and did catch how she grabbed at Seth. "I advise you two to leave this city and not come back for a while. I don't know what'll happen, but this city won't be safe that is for sure." He then got back up and saw Aaron one of the two witchers that had gone astray he didn't say a thing to the man just looked at him the same way a father would look at a son that has disappointed him deeply he walked over to young man and gave him a hug, he was only slightly wounded but he was still alive. "Where's Veera?" He whispered
Spoiler: Warning: Milosh still isn't playing nice so proceed with caution Teliana thought putting up the brave face would save her skin. "Really now, well I suppose I can't blame you." Milosh said then she started telling him he had broken a promise and he cut her off by dragging the Turka back from underneath the nail, the first sign of defiance had been broken, blood covering the fingertip. He walked around to the other side "I never made any promises, I don't promise things to mages, they always betray you in the end. Their lust for power simply making everyone else merely a means to an end, a stepping stone just to that next level of power." He pushed the turka underneath the fingernail of the other middlefinger destroying this fingernail too, ripping it off. "See you're starting to sing, I always appreciate that. I really do." He said circling the table. "I'll ask you again my dear little fire mage...What can you tell me about the mage that raises skeletons." He started off nice then his tone became demanding as he asked about Solomon. "You know, no one is gonna find you here, you're all alone and you can make the pain stop. All you have to do is answer my questions and I'll let you go, how does that sound going back to your friend?" He wiped the single tear away from her face with his rough hands. "Don't cry, look at me, do you think I wept like a babe when a fire mage ravaged my face?" He asked her, this was why he hated them his entire scalp burnt clean, his face burnt the skin hurting when it was too cold or too warm. He hadn't let a single tear over it. He put the turka under another fingernail this time the ringfinger. The symbol for love and being together, he'd destroy that next, ripping away piece by piece. He once more pulled the Turka and the third nail came off once more walking to the other side he put it in front of the nail, ready to slide it under and rip it off "So, lovely little bird. What will it be?" Adalwulf and Bernard had ran outside just after the incident intent on finding Zephyr, they saw him bolting in the distance and went after him. He could not get away, they had to catch him. Milosh wouldn't exactly kill them for failure to comply but they still would get several lectures and disciplinary actions for their failure. They themselves wanted to see this mage caught too. Bryce had told them he knew of another mage, one that raised skeletons and that one should definitely be captured and immediatly be burned. He sounded like a rather dangerous individual. The chase through the city streets went on corner after corner they were on him like bloodhounds. They were chasing the mage through the streets of Oxenfurt unbeknownst to them they were themselves being chased. Adalwulf being more familiar with the city of Oxenfurt told Bernard, his junior to keep on chasing the mage, he would swing around and they would corner him. Bernard remained on Zephyr's tail as Adalwulf split off from his comrade in an attempt to get to Zephyr from two sides.
Rhett had turned to him and responded to him even in this form, good. They could still cooperate well it was one way traffic but even that was better than absolutely nothing or just a savage that would attack the first thing it would see. He watched Rhett sail through the air after his powerful hindlegs sent him to the next rooftop. Hendrik nodded approvingly that he was a little bit impressed by it, but he knew he himself he could do it as well. While he did take a little bit of a run-up but he still made the jump easily with the boost of the speed rune. He rolled and immediatly landed on his feet next to Rhett and smiled. "I may be old, but I'm not that old, let's go" He would follow Rhett across the rooftops, leaping through the air, rolling upon impact and back into running again, hardly losing any momentum. Now this was the life, sailing through the air during the night time sky of New york. He made sure not to lose any of his weapons in the process, the only thing that could be better was if he had one of those ancient warhorns.
Raymond had gone to sleep when the witchers had meditated, when he woke up they had left his home without a trace. He found himself some bread and a bit of milk and had himself a nice breakfast thinking about all the things that had occured, was he sure t hadn't just been a dream? Witchers at war and the war would take place here in Oxenfurt? Would the Redanian Army be involved? Did the King even know? How would a war involving witchers even work? There were so many questions his little peasant brain couldn't answer. He just went about his normal morning routine trying to figure out what was going on. He came to the conclussion that the shock of losing everything that had given him so crazy dream after that one beer, but he wasn't such a lightweight wasn't he? He had been drinking a lot heavier stuff back in Aedirn, though he hadn't had a proper meal that day. He went out of the house to go fish. After Ana had been put into the cage Milosh wrote a note for his superior informing him of the catch of the day. Making sure the letter was on it's way. Egon had finished preparations for the burial of their younger comrade and while Jaroslav would remain behind to guard the cage of the now crying Ana. Jaroslav wasn't as cold as Milosh was and attempted to atleast comfort Ana a little bit. Jaroslav knew he couldn't do too much for her, but atleast attempted to console her. Outside Milosh Egon and a few others attended Dragan's funeral, burning his body. Milosh took the opportunity to remind everyone of protocol and why it was important to follow it. With the body burned they cleaned up the traces of it. Milosh was getting rather eager to get to work, but he would eat something. He treated himself to some salted meat as he began to prepare the tools of the trade. Spoiler: WARNING: Contains acts of torture Milosh went to get Ana from the cage and lead her to the torture chamber. He made sure there would be Dimeritium on her at all times, shackling her to a metal rack, with her back on it as if she were laying on a table. "You really should have eaten something, but hey you clearly thought you knew better." A devious grin appeared on Milosh's face, he had ordered Jaroslav to remove the bread from the cell and halve the amount of water in the bowl. Milosh paced around the table that had all the tools of the trade arrayedand selected a very sharp razor and made several shallow cuts on Ana's arms to start with, without asking her anything. He had after all told her he wouldn't ask nicely first after her stupid action of helping that other mage out and killing Dragan. He made a few more savouring the pained expression on her face trying her best not to scream. "It's okay little dove, sing for me." He whispered in her ear as he slowly made another shallow cut on her right arm, going from the pit of her elbow up to her shoulder. After that he used it to cut a citrus in half and squeezed it's sour juice onto the shallow cuts, he threw the drained fruits into a corner and watched her for a few moments letting the juice work it's magic. Having finished with the razor for now he put it back in it's rightful place and took some near boiling salt water to pour over Teliana's arms. He then picked up a turka from the table and looked at her hands. Trying to decide which pretty little finger to start with. "Say, lovely little dove, what can you tell me about our glorious ruler Archon Dragoncrest? Or no wait even a better idea, why don't you tell me about that mage that summons the skeletons. Tell me what I wish to know and I might let you go free." Milosh said almost sounding sincere, but the look in his eyes betrayed him. He would break this woman, body and spirit and she would tell him all he wanted to know. He had made up his mind and a smile appeared on his face, her middle finger that's what he'd go for first. The sign of defiance would be broken and he put the turka just in front of her fingernail in anticipation of her answer, prepared to ram it underneath her fingernail to tear it off. The symbolic sign of defiance would be broken.
Tessa sort of accepted his apology it wasn't entirely clear but she told him it was alright. She hit the nail right on the head with not being able to explain what happened. She then said that she wasn't looking for a mate either but that mates would look for a safe place first. It was a logical way to look at it a rather simple way but there was no fault in the reasoning. If the mate could provide security then the remainder could be figured out. He caught the smiles of the girl, but he didn't think much of it. Then she said she was going to find a tree to sleep in and practicly inviting him along. He looked back to the Inn, his kit was still there and he would have get back for it later, no that would be irresponsible he asked her to wait for a moment as he went back inside and got his armour from his room. He followed Tessa into the woods because Kara was still making a bloody racket in the room and he knew he wouldn't get any sleep there. He helped her out with the little dome like structure. She had confirmed what he had suspected happened that it had just been their touch that they had the strange sensation. As she lay down and muttered she wanted to know why. "Me too, Tessa, me too..." He said softly not wanting to wake her up, then put down the armour inside to the side and lay himself down onto the makeshift bed of leaves and grass. It wasn't the first time he'd sleep in the wilds and after a little while he peacefuly fell asleep without too much of a problem. He didn't snuggle up to Tessa but lay with his back touching hers so they'd atleast share some warmth, laying facing in the opposite direction.
Conrad was rather surprised when she too brought up the whole thing of him alledgedly looking for a mate. He hung his head in sadness, why did this happen? "I don't know... I just don't know" He muttered in response. "I could tell you like I did before that I am not looking for a mate, but well clearly that's no use so I might as well save myself the effort." He kept his head low avoiding her gaze but he couldn't keep the sadness out of his voice. Was he really looking to fill in the hole left by his comrades and not knowing it himself? But how could one person just take the place of a small group of people, it was beyond him. The mention of the carriage however seemed like a good way to do what he had in mind. "About the carriage.... I want to apologise, Ren was probably right, I had only wanted to let you sleep but I was overstepping boundries and I'm sorry for that, I won't do so again..." then something else had come to mind, the way she had greeted Laurentinus with the handshake, probably nothing happened it was rather odd wasn't it? "Nothing happened, did it?" He asked, knowing full well it came out of the blue and that he might have to elaborate on it, but he figured the fewer words used the fewer used against him.
Conrad attempted to get to sleep and while he didn't demand total silence, which would acutally keep him from sleeping more. However the bloody racket that Kara was making, making the room more akin to a blacksmith's workshop. He tried to sleep, but the noise was just too much, he half regretted giving Kara that tip, then again she was working contently and maybe she'd try to annoy him a little less if she managed to get the box open that way and they'd get along perfectly fine. He did realise that part of the reason Laurentinus had shipped him off here was since he got along the best with Kara or could atleast stand her the best. She wasn't too bad really, just a rather odd one and while he did dislike what she had done on the carriage and how he had been portrayed in that, but if they were going to have to work together he'd have to set aside his personal opinions and just try to work together. After a while the noise got too much for the young man and he got back out of bed, Kara seemed rather lost in her thoughts trying to get that box open, he put his boots back on and left the room saying he was going for some fresh air and a little quiet, but he doubted Kara caught that at all. He wandered down the stairs and through the inn trying to be as quiet as possible for the other guests. He walked outside breathing in the fresh air through his nose letting it fill his lungs before letting it out again. The moon was out and illuminating the area with it's soft glow. Then his eyes caught something, someone was standing outside a certain someone he knew. He walked over to the girl, looking up at the starry skies. "Can't sleep either then?" His voice was soft and kind. "I'm really sorry if I startled you, I didn't mean to." Something crossed his mind, something he needed to do and he'd do it a little bit later. He would apologise to Tessa about what happened on the carriage, he knew he told Laurentinus that he only would if he had been wrong, but the girl didn't seem to have social knowledge and he didn't know if she would bring it up on her own. Baldomar sat there listening to the girl, it was rather intriguing to hear what had happened to the young girl "I'm sorry 'bout your family, but hey they're in a better place now. They won't be getting sick or starve any longer, it's better for them. Mr Grason seems like a nice bloke, but really you are now dependant on him. I try to be as independant as possible, depending on other people always gets me screwed over big time, sometimes landing in prison, sometimes leaving me to be thrown out of the city without my coin. Not that I really need it that much." Baldomar said "And that's a big fat lie right there, I know your city folk education is partially to blame for that but look at me, I ain't considered well off by your standards yet I had that sort of childhood. And I don't have some noose around my neck, I mean this bloke maybe looking after you perfectly fine right now but what in the future huh? He wants something you don't want to do and he just kicks you out, you'll be back at square one. You'd be better off taking the initiative learning skills to live off the wilds and then tell this so called Master that he can go **** himself." Baldomar then decided that this was the moment to dig into the broth he had been served and did so rather unceremoniously.
Rhett had caught up to him "Aye morbid as it may be, it's convenient for us. Rookie mistake on his behalf." Hendrik said simply, agreeing with Rhett, it was quite a mess indeed. Blood had gone everywhere, then Rhett went on about warranting something rather specific for this chase. He took out a small vial of black liquid and asked him to look away. Hendrik did as he was asked, he probably wasn't exactly comfortable with the change yet. Then Rhett muttered something about someone lying to him regarding the potion. Ash by any chance? A small smile crept up on his face. Betrayal always came at the most inconvenient times and in the least convenient ways. Just like the Clave had dropped him when he thought they would understand his choice. He then heard a low rumble and he turned back around where Rhett had stoond a large black wolf with a single white stripe running from his chin down. At a younger age Hendrik would have found it awesome, now while still seeing the majesty of the creature and recognising it's strength was not as impressed, not that he wasn't impressed just not as much as he would have been. Seeing he already had his speed rune on him he was confident he could keep up with Rhett and nodded at the great wolf saying "Ready when you are. Lead the way." The hunt for Masque had begun in earnest.
Conrad was sitting on the floor with his armour checking it all for damages then Kara walked into the room with some robes and a lockbox. Did she just bloody steal that? "Yeah dinner didn't have too much going on. Just made the decision on who bunks with who, you and I ended up together" He said simply, focussing on his armour. "I don't know how to pick a lock and if I am perfectly honest with you I don't really want to get caught up in whatever you're doing with that. Or how you got it...." Conrad said "Though if I may give you a tip, try removing the pins from the hinges. It's how we opened badly designed secure doors." He put his armour away and sat down on the bed and looked at Kara as she went over her stuff. She wasn't too bad of a person, she was a rather playful person and there wasn't anything wrong with that. He lay down and decided to try and get some shut eye. "Well goodnight Kara, good luck with whatever you're doing."
Vyle let go of Zack and didn't exactly calm down but he left them alone he heard him shout a name a very familiar name, he had already suspected he had been here after seeing Tatiana who had just gone off to who knew where. Zack came over to thank him "It's nothing. And yes he probably would have, but there's no point in would have beens. It turned out fine, I guess you only have to thank yourself or Tessa seeing she sent for me." He looked at the girl, the medic was still working on healing their mutual friend though the magic was all done and it required stitching. She had started but Tessa struggled against Seth trying to hold her down. He knelt next to the girl and put both his hands on her shoulders to hold her. His grip soft but his strength helping in holding her down. "It'll be okay, it'll be okay. Just stay still, it'll be over soon and you'll be okay."
Laurentinus had made the decision regarding the rooming and while he didn't at all mind sharing a room with any of these people the remark about Kara liking him annoyed him a little bit especially in the light of what had transpired on the carriage, he had been displayed as a man just out for claiming as many women as his own as he could. Then again it could have just been implied that Kara just wasn't gonna tear his head off in his sleep like she might do to others. Then again she didn't seem like the kind of person who would do that, just a bit more of a playful sort of person. And if he looked deep inside himself there was in fact a hole left behind by his close comrades, one that did hurt but only when he was alone and he allowed himself. Tessa had said she was okay, but he wasn't so sure about that. However an answer like that was an indication that she clearly didn't want to talk about it. Shyra then decided it was time for them to go to their rooms and they were escorted by the innkeeper. Kara had been doing her own thing and therefor wasn't with them, but she'd undoubtebly have something to say about having to share a room hell even a bed with him. She had something to say about everything whether serious or not. He removed his armour and put it aside, while it wasn't impossible for him to sleep in it it was probably a better idea for the comfort of his roommate if they accidentally bumped into him in their sleep and simply for the life expectancy of the bed. Conrad sat down in a simple shirt and trousers to inspect the armour for any damages from the battle it had been an evening ritual before bed lost in thoughts. Baldomar sat next to Anthea listening to the girl explain how he shouldn't worry about her. Didn't she know that saying that only resulted in the opposite? Silly little girl. Oh well nothing he could about that, then she mentioned some master "Wait wait wait.... you mean to say there's someone that just bosses you around for no reason at all? Anthea, dear. How did you end up in such a predicament? Really a young girl as yourself shouldn't be in that situation you should be happily skipping through the woods, finding herbs, befriending animals. Wow the more I learn about city folk the more I dislike them. You guys think up shackles and put nooses around your neck and giving someone else the power to kick the krutch from beneath your feet if they want to." Baldomar said dryly "Then again I shouldn't be such a judgmental prick, Kellan taught me that even if something isn't your style you shouldn't just start ranting about it, but it's an old habbit and it dies hard." It had been hardwired into him to speak his mind, having hardly any filter and while everyone else didn't exactly care about that too much chosing to ignore him he felt it better to atleast adjust a little bit, but he was careful not to turn into what he disliked so much.
Hendrik was up on the roof looking for clues as to where the hell Masque had gone. Rhett had followed him onto the roof and well they apparantly weren't the only ones here. There was another Downworlder there, a fairy he decided to ignore her. No point in bothering her. He didn't particularly like Fairies either, too much of a hassle to deal with. Vampires and Werewolves were pretty straight forward, the Clave while bothersome wasn't too bad to deal with. Demons was even easier, but Fairies had the habbit of dicking you over, he wasn't gonna open a potential can of worms. He walked around in an attempt to find any leads on the killer he had been pretty good in leaving no traces, except one there was a trail of blood. He turned to Rhett "We got a lead, think you could help me following the trail?" He asked the young downworlder. When out of earshot of that Fairy he might actually try and get to know his compatriot.
Zach had answered the Vampire's question and confirmed that witchhunters were in fact existing. Vyle like any other person didn't like to be reminded of his mistakes however that hardly warranted what he did next. The fangs immediatly told him what the man was. The old Crow drew his silver sword, merely if things went sour, but he held it idly at his side. "Hey! this man over here's got nothing to do with the abduction of your friend. I understand you are angry, but take that anger out on the person who deserves it, which isn't him. This Bryce bloke, he is on my hitlist as well simply for what he did to her." He said pointing to Tessa "Now if you could let my mate go, maybe we can talk about this like civilised people and maybe even come to an agreement to working together." He spoke his words carefully and he remained sharp, this could get out of hand very very quickly. And while he didn't exactly know Zach and only had just met the bloke, he had been entrusted by Tessa to find him and a friend of a friend he was more inclined to defend. Egon, Milosh and Jaroslav were now well on their way towards their hideout, but there was one last thing they needed to take care off. They went over to a small pond and one by one, so the other two could watch Ana washed the Drowner pheromones off, they didn't need them anymore and all they did was give a possible trail, then again they'd be hardpressed to follow that through the sewers anyways there were enough drowners there. Milosh saw that Ana had woken up again. "Sleep well, Princess?" He asked with a grin on his face, not the mischievous kind of grin. "Don't worry, you'll get a nice an comfortable bed in your new home." Milosh slung her over his shoulder again and they continued on their way. A small time skip later They had arrived at their hidden base of operations. It was situated in a cave removed far from the road in a wooded area. The cave had been cleared of monsters before the base had been made there years prior this was just one of several scattered throughout Archon's lands each and every one a cell operating on their own. And while most knew there were others out there only a small group of individuals knew where they were. Milosh put Ana in another cage, once more shackling her ankle to the floor of the cage, but he didn't take off the shackles around her wrists. "You know it's a shame that such a lovely face must belong to a witch, then again it's what you all do, make yourselves look pretty. Soon we'll see if this lovely bird has a singing voice to match it's coat." Milosh laughed he threw some bread into the cage for Ana to eat and moved a bowl of water in for her to drink. He then went away to tend to some other business. Jaroslav stood watch by the cage and Egon had gone back out side to prepare a burial for Dragan.
Conrad listened to what the innkeep had said. He was dealing with a salesman here, that was for sure. "I'd like some of this fine pie then, let's see if it's really as good as you claim it is. As for that spiced wine, no thanks it'd wasted on my underdeveloped sense of taste." Conrad said, he really wasn't looking for alcohol at the moment. So he would settle for just the water. He handed the Innkeeper 4 silver and rejoined the others at the table. The spiced wine cost way too much in his opinion and if there had been something to celebrate then he may have considered it. Taking his place next to Laurentinus again he drank some of his water listening to the discussion regarding the rooming. "Got no objection to any combination as long as I can get my shut eye." Conrad said simply, hell he would even be willing to sleep on the floor if it meant that his roommate was more comfortable. He chuckled as Tessa spoke up about Kara. He started on his soup as expected it wasn't spectacular, then again it didn't need to be. He gave Tessa a concerned look as he noticed she hadn't touched her soup yet. "You okay?" He asked her, it was generally a bad sign when people weren't eating, they had been travelling the entire day. And he knew he was hungry right now, especially after that fight. Wait did it have something to do with that? The gears in his mind started spinning in an attempt to figure it out. Baldomar listened to the young servant girl she called him Mr Errerim how cute. No one did that anymore. "Well if you are so certain about it then sure." He said taking the piece of bread. "Thank you, Anthea, but you really shouldn't starve yourself okay? Eat your fill." He munched on the bread. "So what brought you here then?" He asked with genuine curiosity or just extremely perfected lying with Baldy you never knew. Though this girl seemed like a nice and reasonable person, she lived in a large home then in Whytehold? Ah drat another one of them city folk. Oh well He'd give her a chance just as he had Kellan and that had worked out perfectly fine. "Also don't call me Mr Errerim, I am only Baldomar."
Veceslav did what he could in an attempt to save Tessa, he looked at Seth sitting across from him, holding on to the girl's hand. He looked at the man "Hey, look at me. It's gonna be alright, okay?" Veceslav said, he had spoken the lie many times before holding the hands of the children who wouldn't make it. It was a part of him, he could say those words without making it look like a lie. It looked bad, very bad to be perfectly honest, but he couldn't abandon all hope. His rough hands softly stroked the girl's hand. Something a sorceress had taught him a long time ago when dealing with people who needed the humanity. He knew it wouldn't help at all, but just maybe she'd know she was not alone. "Hang in there, Tessa, hold on with all that you got, just like with the pole in the river." He spoke softly, it was then Vyle arrived and was demanding answers. Veceslav only looked at the man and said "Sorry to hear about your friend, but as you can obviously see we have more pressing matters at hand." His voice was even and calm. Soon after that Zack had returned with a medic, Veceslav, after the first shove moved away, leaving the Medic to her work, as she closed her eyes to concentrate. The way the woman had looked at him, almost as if they were the ones that had done it to her. Things were further complicated by the appearance of someone that had supposed to be at the Kaer, it was no one less that Tatiana. She really didn't look too well and she even spoke to the man she adressed as Vyle saying something he had already known. That Seth had been the one that had hurt her. While normally this would warrant Seth's death in his book, this situation was far from normal. Zack and Seth were the only ones Tessa had left after the betrayal by Bryce. He himself would protect the girl had he not been a witcher. Though with it being winter he did have more time on his hands. He was getting distracted, the girl had only Seth left if she survived she needed help, something this man could provide her with. The truth of the way this man felt was right there in front of him and maybe he could figure some other sort of punishment out. Death wasn't going to solve this, it would only make more problems. He moved over, positioning himself half between Vyle and Seth.
Veceslav had completely ignored the man known as Seth and agreed that this was more important than the trivial matter of Tatiana that matter had already taken place, judgement could be passed on that later. This situation still could go every way and it had to be atleast stabilised so not a bad outcome would come to pass. He ran with the others this was bad, Seth was panicking calling out her name. If the girl was in trouble that really wasn't gonna help at all. Only more likely to get her into more trouble, luckily they found the girl. But that was all there was to say about it. She looked pretty bad. Veceslav immediatly knelt down, next to her, shoving Seth aside "Seth keep pressure on that wound." He took the flask he had given her and administered the magenta liquid to the girl. It was just a natural healing potion and therefor wouldn't have the potentially devastating effects of witchers potions. This was bad, they needed a medic and they needed one quickly. "Get us a bloody medic" He ordered Zack throwing the man a small pouch of coin to get the medic to come along and to buy supplies if needed, it was more than enough. Egon lead the way for the compatriots through the secret passage, lighting the darkness with the torch. Milosh dragged Ana along with them when she wasn't cooperating. To make things easier on himself Milosh just outright knocked the mage out and slung her over his shoulder. The passage lead into the sewers, Egon expertly navigating the sewers towards the exit that lay outside of the city. The noises from the sewers were far from pleasant and they all knew the danger of drowners being down here. However they knew how to deal with these simple monsters. Luckily for them they were left alone, thanks to the recipe they had swiped off an Alchemist they had captured last week for Drowner pheromones, masking them as one of their own making the idiotic creatures leave them alone. The exit had been barred off to prevent any invaders easy acces to the city, but they had left a key around here somewhere in preparation. Milosh looked around for a moment trying to remember where the hell it had been. After several moments of searching he found it and unlocked the gate. The group left the sewers locking the gate behind them. If that explosion had drawn unwanted attention then they had to lose it and quickly. Well that would be simple they would move to the main road as quickly as possible get their tracks muddled by those of many others. Egon extinguished the torch and lead the way towards the main road they were headed for one of their hideouts in the woodlands North, North-west of Oxenfurt there Milosh would get to play with the lovely little dove.
The andaran prince had left the scene of the conflict, but once more drawn in like a fish on a line he unknowingly circled back around as if some power lured him in against his will. He ignored that thought, he was still his own person and he set out his own path under the guidance of the spirits. However this proved to be a lie as once more he happened upon the red cloaked girl who was once more in danger as one of the fighters from before was attacking her. Varraki wasted no time and unslung his rifle, selected single round firing mode he knew he was in a more open position than normal and took aim, he couldn't guarantee he'd hit or miss and hit the girl, but he had to try. The ritual of calming would take way too long to perform it might be too late. He opened fire upon Veera, firing single shots as accurately as he could. If he drew her attention away and she would charge him he would switch to automatic and just spray and pray. Zahariel wasn't going to do anything when Carrisa ordered them to cover the retreat of others. Had they actually been sensible people, unlike Aster who was already starting to argue with Carrisa about some stupid bet. Zahariel sat in the shuttle as it flew away from the gun. He needed to get those bullets out but he would have to wait with that. He wasn't going to reveal himself here. He liked the anonimity his hood gave him. He unsheathed Dies Irae as and took out a piece of cloth cleaning the Demi-god's blood off the blade. He savoured the smell of it. It was but a prelude to the final correction he had to make to this world. The shuttle flew through the skies away from the gun. He wished he could use his own wings to fly, but sadly they were still broken. He hoped he would fly again one day the sort of freedom no one would really understand until they experienced it themselves. Aster was fixing his hair to look good oh the vain idiot, Zahariel did look quite impressive in his attire as well and was more worried about the damage done to it than to the body underneath. He looked at the woman that had been captured, simply because he had ratted her out with his flames. The red eyes peering out from underneath the hood. So this was that vain idiot's sister? Curious course of events having them end up on both sides of the conflict. He wasn't going to say anything about it just watch it all play out. He wanted to get to the base so he could get those bullets out and fix his clothes. Anything else could wait until that had been taken care off.
Baldomar had been a little bit too busy being Captain Obvious towards Kevin that he had ignored Anthea's offer for her bread. He moved over to the girl. "Say you ought to eat that otherwise you'll never grow up to be as big and strong as uncle Baldomar." He said to the servant girl. "Say where are you from anyways? And who are you?" Baldomar asked he really couldn't fathom what sort of irresponsible idiot would allow such a young girl to participate in such dangerous undertakings in the first place. Well now she was here and Uncle Baldy would look after her. He was more than quallified to do so, he had looked after that girl with Kellan after all. "I am Baldomar Errerim, had to make a carreer change due to some changing situations back home."
He had the man again and fate decided to interfere. Another bloke came running in he tried to tell a story, he heard his own name and immediatly turned to the man. "I am the Witcher you are looking for. I am Veceslav Furst, what the hell happened?" He heard a name Tessa, could that have been the girl? He saw the flask in his hands and then he knew it for sure. It had been the girl. This Bryce person he had been the one being so protective of her. If what this newcomer had said was true she was in grave danger, while he had only heard rumours of witch hunters being active in the lands he though nothing of it. He scooped up the fallen flask, luckily it hadn't broken, it had cracked and some of the liquid started to leak out so he kept the flask upside down. He looked at the newcomer without judgement he had noticed the change in his medalion and this one was undoubtebly another doppler but that didn't matter right now. "Lead the way. Now. There is no time to waste." Veceslav said his voice filled with the tone of command as he followed the other two flask clasped into his hands. Milosh shot an angry look towards Bryce "You do bloody realise that that young lad over there has been ****ing killed by his own idiocy. He knew protocol, I made damn sure of that. If he hadn't been killed I sure as hell would have made sure he got punished for his mistake that would have gotten us all killed. So don't ****ing tell me something as obvious as that." Milosh growled, fire mages. Always the bloody firemages they were the worst of them. He shoved Ana down the trapdoor, Jaroslav followed with the body of Dragan and after him came Egon. "You'll be singing a different tune very quickly, little dove." Milosh said his voice full of venom. He would savour every last moment of making this one sing. Egon took the lead carrying a torch to light the darkness so they could navigate the dark maze beneath the city.
