Kazune glared at him. "You're not staying in the castle. You're very lucky I let you go all those years ago."
"I don't know." Kazune frowned more.
"All children lie at times. Near is only 11." Kazune frowned.
"You're not involved in anything. We can handle this by ourselves." Kazune crossed his arms.
"Anyway. Now that you've said hello to Xyam, you can leave." Kazune frowned.
Kazune frowned, watching Mello leave. "What's up with them? Demoned away? Natural eyes?"
"We were born with our eyes. No doctor can cure what's natural." Mello looked at him, his eyes slits too. "You have no business here, outsider. So go home." He ran off.
Mello stopped at the doorway. "We don't need one. What makes you think that we need one?"
"I'll be taking Near now. He must rest." Matt took Near by the wrist, dragging him out. Mello followed after quickly.
"Hey, leave her alone!" Kazune shouted. "It's not her fault the way they're acting!"
"Ask their parents...." Kazune watched them before looking at Mello. "What're they on about?" "I don't know." Mello replied instantly, not looking at him. Near blinked, his eyes changing back to normal. He changed back fully to his albino self. Matt smiled, his eyes changing back.
"Mail Jeevas actually." Matt appeared around the door, looking at Near. "Nate, go to sleep. You're still not allowed like this yet." "Why should I?" Near asked, not looking at him. "You know why! Oyashiro-sama will curse you!" Matt walked over to Near, spinning him around. Near stared up at Matt. "Sleep." Matt's eyes went to slits too. "I don't want my little cousin to be demoned away because he was not ready."
"Shut up.... I hate my name...." Mello scowled. "Poor Kaoru. If he heard that, he would be heartbroken. I don't see Mail complaining about his name." Near commented.
"HEY! Don't use my name like that!" Mello shouted.
"I never said my name was Near. Mihael said my name was Near." Near replied.
"No, unfortunatly, it's not." Near replied to his thoughts, still staring at Kazune. "You're kind! You may be quiet and you rarely speak to anyone but you're a good kid. You smile a lot, you never use this tone of voice on anyone. That's the Near I know-" "That's the Nate River you know." Near cut him off.
