Render needs more blending. The two texts are good even though I would have placed the second one somwhere else. The purple text is just unreadable and doesn't fit the texture. 7/10
He's got a point on that it is really uniform and "boring". The cool effects and ligthing take away some of it but there should be more stuff, possibly think C4d.
The colors and effects are great. The contrast makes the image messy though. And the black outline around the text is just too big. 8/10
