The prince's aggression caught Callen by surprise. He gave him a questioning look before slowly raising his hands. One of who? Ruined what? What is this man talking about? wondered Callen. "What? I'm not a.... Shadow. I don't even look like them. What are you babbling on about?"

Callen eyed the prince and grinned. "Do I really look like the kind of guy who would kill a pretty girl like her? Besides, I don't even know where the entrance to this.... Palace?..... is." Callen removed his hands from behind his head and turned his attention to the princess. His grin had become a frown. What the girl said troubled him. It didn't make any sense. After a while of thought he finally replied to her explanation involving the shadows. "I'm not understanding what you're saying here. Not until today have I even known the existence of these.... Shadows. Never have I heard any rumors. Never have I seen them. And what's even stranger about all that is that they said that they were here to kill me." Callen paused for a moment and thought a bit more. Finally he opened his mouth to speak again. "But what's strangest of all, is what you said about the Lineve Project. I happen to be one of the top scientists working on that project so I'm up to date with the project's development. I can tell you right off the bat that we haven't done anything yet. The project is still in the development stage. We haven't even begun testing yet. And as a matter of fact," Callen said while examining himself curiously, "I don't even know what I'm doing here. I'm supposed to be there." Callen held up his arms hopelessly. "What a strange crazy world we live in."
OOC: RECAP I'm no good at recaps, so here's a brief one. Evieri's palace is overrun by shadows and they are after Callen. Callen is with the princess and prince. they have just escaped from a bunch of shadows. The entity of Sence and mutation are fighting. The entity of pain, awareness, and growth are teaming up with Haff and are in the Jetail forest. The two air pirates have finished fighting. I'm sure I'm missed some things. So feel free to add to this.
