Riku has the only good looking clothes in that game, the reason why?: It's an actual real outfit that you could wear without looking like your wearing cosplay. Jeans, a vest, some other torso clothes, normal looking shoes, a cuff-like thing, yeah that's totally fantasy. That's what's cool about Riku, he seems to be like the only real thinking/looking character in the game(s). But answer me this, fools, if you saw somebody wearing the exact clothes as Roxas, would you say, "Hey, that guy has style!" or would you say, "What a ***, checkboard designs? How gay..." Answer honestly. This seems like a noobish thread, so I'm not really expecting a reply without a hundred smileys in it.

I want Riku in (from Chain of memories -_-) so then you could change him from normal Riku to Dark Riku (Like Link in SSBB). I hope they don't drop Link. I don't really like Ness :\

    Emo

Well, the reason I was hating on the style emo so much was because I was just pissed off at being called that, so automatically I would be pissed off at the term. And cutting yourself is a cowardly thing to do, just because you're sad, doesn't mean you have to fu*k up your body, wouldn't it just make you more depressed? I would also like to apologize about me hating on the music genre, I was talking about the modern emo music, and because the influence that Carlos Mencia has on me, he said he hated emo music, thus I don't like it either, because I like to be like my heroes. And what I said about Christian Screamo, I've never heard Christian music being negative, so that's why I see all Christian music as "good" and because I'm Christian, also because of what I said earlier, I like to be like my heroes, and the members in the Christian Screamo bands that I love are my heroes, so that's why. I know that Screamo branched off from Emo, but I don't really see much similarities between the two, other than the deep meanings behind the lyrics, that people who automatically assume that Screamo music sucks cannot understand. All the Emo music I have heard is depressing, so I wouldn't know about the whole healing thing with Emo music, because I don't really consider depression as healing music, but I've heard Emo bands that lyrics are all about suffering and sh*t. I honestly have to admit, I really don't care about this whole discussion, because I'm not emo, so I don't know what being emo is like, thus I don't really care about emo sh*t.

Oh yeah, Scene kids aren't emo posers, they dress like emo kids, that doesn't mean that they want to be like them. And emo people are Gothic posers.

    Emo

Okay first off, I'm not really sure if this is the right section for this considering what I'm trying to make the topic of this thread about, because I guess it's not really a topic that's "intelligent", but more informal. I couldn't decide on what section to post it in: debate, spam zone, general discussion, and so on. So anyway, I might as well just start the thread, despite of what section it belongs in.

Okay, I have to honestly admit that I have been called emo before (I still am now by some people), but in real life, not on the internet. I have been called emo because of my appearance, and sort of how I act. In my (middle)school, we have a uniform; it consist of: White collar shirt, Navy collar shirt (I think), school t-shirt (Blue or Grey), Navy pants/shorts (cannot have too baggy), or khaki pants/shorts, and you have to wear a belt with shirt tucked in. On Fridays you can wear jeans, and I wear my black jeans, or my tight REALLY dark blue jeans. I listen to Screamo, which is apparently the same thing as emo to ignorant people (which is what this topic is about, but I’ll bring that back up later). Also, the fact that I have long hair and I always have my bangs covering my face doesn’t really help my appearance as “emoâ€, but get this: I have long, beautiful blonde hair (as described by tons of girls in my school), and even though I have thoughts about dying my hair black, I don’t want to do that until my hair turns brown (which happens most of the time if your hair is blonde, and from brown it turns white, if you live that long…), so I can keep my “beautiful†long blonde hair, well beautiful. So anyway, I’m trying to say is that I dress more like someone hard-core would dress, other than an “emo†kid would dress. I don’t wear a belt, and I would never wear a studded belt, because I honestly think that they look gay, unless a guy in a band is wearing one. I have never cut myself, but I have thought of suicide (but can anyone honestly say they haven’t?). Now that I have explained that I don’t dress like an “emo†person would dress, I must explain how I act. I’m an out-going kind of guy, but only with my friends, though I’m not that out-going when it comes to girls (obviously I’m not that confident about being around girls that aren’t my friends). Whenever I’m depressed, I don’t hide it from the world, nor from my friends, so I’m pretty much quiet all the time when I’m depressed. I’m funny (not trying to brag), and when I’m hyper everyone around me (that’s my friend) has a great time, I have a lot of friends, but I don’t really hang out with them because at recess they are playing football or basketball (which I’m not totally confident about playing since I can’t catch worth ****, but I can run fast as hell), so I want to know, why would anyone call me “emoâ€? I mean, I usually dress in all black, but should I be judged for wearing black? Then again, I might be over-reacting, because usually my friends call me “emo†but they are joking around, but sometimes I’m called “emo†not by my friends, when I’m being made fun of. So in reality, I’m the totally opposite of what would be described as “emo†in terms of how I act, and I barley dress like how you would think an “emo†person would dress as, aside from my wardrobe being almost completely black.

Now I want to explain what “emo†is. “Emoâ€, apparently, is described as someone who wears eye-shadow, dresses in all black, has black hair, and dresses in all black. Emo is really a music genre that started in the 80s-90s. There were bands who’s lyrics seemed like they really came from the heart, or described depression, and so the fans made up a genre to describe them as, which we all know as emo, short for emotional. Now pussies who cut themselves, and talk about how depressed they are (yet they have so many friends), call themselves emo. So now people think that emo is a style, even though it is really a music genre, and label people who are depressed and wear black clothes all the time as emo. What really pisses me off is that some kids that are labeled as emo, actually call themselves emo. It doesn’t make sense to me, you wouldn’t call yourself rock just because you are rich and in a famous band, would you? There are scene kids (who should be described as emo if you would call anyone emo), and gothic people aren’t anything like scene kids. So really, what kind of ****** would either call themselves a music genre, or call somebody else a music genre? Also, Screamo isn’t anything like Emo music. Emo music is usually lyrics about how the person’s life sucks, and how they can’t go on, while Screamo is usually about things that other people would care about, and some Screamo bands make you feel better (like blessthefall, whenever I listen to them it always makes me happy), and tons of Screamo bands are actually Christian, so they are giving out a positive message, while Emo music is giving out a negative message that makes you want to kill yourself. I also hate it when people call Screamo crap because they can’t understand what they are singing when they scream, I mean really, it takes a long time to be able to scream, and the band members are AMAZING at their instruments…the bass players shake your car if you listen to the music at like volume 8, the drummers play the double-bass drums which take a lot of practice to be good at, and the guitars are phenomenal, and they singers have the best voices when they sing normally, and the lyrics are meaningful. While emo music sucks, and the lyrics are horrible, because they are normally all about depression and how much the people hurt inside.

Well, that’s pretty much all I have to say about emo, and how I’m totally NOT emo.

It would only be cool if they made it about Riku when Sora was asleep, then people would actually see it, because it would be more violent(look at ASAS/Deep Dive), and Riku actually looks bad ass.

I say like all the time, which barley makes sense when I use it in a sentence. What's up doesn't really make sense to me, but I don't say that. I use grammar when I talk, so I don't sound stupid.

Emo is a music genre, a "scene" person is probably what you are referring to as emo. Gothic is a totally different thing.

Yeah, but those pictures were just for the photo-shoots, I mean in
preformances (Craig wore some kick ass clothes live). Craig's "newer" voice suits Escape the Fate better, because his voice is more "normal", like Ronnie's. His older voice in blessthefall sounded better to me because it was differant, more refreshing than the voice he uses in Escape the Fate. Craig isn't that good when it comes to choosing certain clothes for pictures...I personally think that Jared Warth (bass player/screams) has the best taste in style, he has the coolest hair, coolest clothes, and has a cool peircing, he's in blessthefall though, unlike Escape the Fate's bass player...who wears make-up.
