I'm getting back into the whole Hogwarts thing again, and I saw this flailing, so figured I had to join it. I have some great ideas! The first is my main character, the three after him are all sort of antagonists, and the last one is the one with a HUGE problem....literally...the last one is part giant, but far different from Hagrid. Name: Sebastian "Base" Keaton (Sa-bas-tee-an "Ba-seh" Key-ton) Age: 14, Fourth Year at Hogwarts Gender: Male House: Ravenclaw Height: 5"7 Weight: 98 lb.s Apperence: Plain features such as a round head, a slightly pug nose, not so much upturned and only slightly bulbous at the tip, Hazel eyes, green rimmed and generally brown, and a square jaw. Handsome in most respects. Black hair, styled to the side slightly, and cut to a flattop. Slight build, lanky, but with muscle. Tannish skin may hint slightly Italian ancestry. Wand information: 7 in", willow, Pheonix Feather core, good for charm work. Abilities: very well-equipped with knowledge of charms and spells, esp. ones haveing to do with healing ailments. Country of Origin: Crashmore, Ireland(South-Eastern, at the very bottom of the island. Located in the Waterford Province), but accent is more British. Temperment: Very friendly, and defending of others. Somewhat over-zealous at times. Approachable. Problem: His ego, at times. He has pallid skin, though not so much as many Slythrins, as he spends more time on the grounds than in theSlytherin Common room. Country of Origin: England Temperment: A Paradox of Draco Malfoy to some respects, he is in fact much more acceptable to mudbloods, but hates anyone who crosses him. He is offended ever-so-easily, and makeing up for his sympathy for mudblood, is his absolute hatred toward Crossbreeds. (Witches or Wizards with magical creature blood in them, either from near-human descendents or ancestors. Ex: Rubeus Hagrid, half Giant. Fleur Delacour, One-fourth Veela) He is very cunning and quick-minded, his eyes permanently showing malice, very good at plotting against enemies. But, all in all, like Malfoy, not all of him is bad. Problem: His hatred for Crossbreeds. Name: Hugh Dungnri (Hu-ooh DUNG-n-ree) Age: 13, Third year at Hogwarts Gender: Male House: Slytherin Height: 5"5 3/4 Weight: 105 lb.s Apperance: Basically a stand-in for Crabbe and Goyle with Malfoy, Dungnri guards and follows Foxely around like a bodyguard, but in comparison, Foxely treats Dungnri much more like a friend than as a crony, much to the difference of Malfoy always bossing Crabbe and Goyle around. Also, Dungnri more intelligent than Crabbe and Goyle, but only to a certain degree, and he's not as stupid-looking either. Verty Thick build, though more balanced than the Gurreila-compared Crabbe and Goyle. Thick, red hair, combed to the front in a modern Male hair style. Green eyes. Wand information: 17 in., oak, Dragon heartstring, good for hexes. Abilities: Very skilled with various hexes and curses, though rarely uses them unless "hand-to-hand negotiations" don't work. And his strength allows him to eventually bend iron pipes, though doing so takes alot of energy, effort, and time. He is light in color, as he spends alot of his time guarding Rymond, who is usually walking around outside on the grounds, or in the great hall. CoO: Dublin, Ireland. Has an accent very similar to Hagrid. (Ex: Summat: Something; 'Smatter o' fact: As a matter of fact; a'/o': equivelent of "of".) Temperment: Very Brutish looking, but only fights when his friends are in danger, or Rymond tells him to, which rarely, rymond does anyway. Not excessively bright, but not a total dolt either. Despite his brutality, he's actually very skittish around girls, only being able to be calm-minded around Narccissa because she's Rymond's girlfriend, and Dungnri's friend. (Much like Harry and Hermione are like siblings, and Harry is pretty much sure at different times that Hermione is either Ron or Viktor Krum's girlfriend.) Problem: Very skittish around girls. Name: Narccissa Aphro. Etymology: Narccissa refers to the femmine term of "one who is extremly vain", not Narccissa Black/Malfoy. Aphro is the beginging of the name of Aprodite, the Greek God of love, beauty, and affection. Age: 13, Third year at Hogwarts Gender: Female House: Slytherin Height: 5"3 Weight: 87 pounds, respectively Apperance: Rymond's Girlfriend and fellow "gang" member, she pretty much has the same temperments as Rymond, shareing Rymonds accepting of mudbloods, but, on the other hand, she is far more sympathetic of cross-breeds than Rymond. She has a very curvy build, an hourglass shape of sorts. She is much more mature in looks, nature, and....*ahem* puberty...than most of her fellow female students in the third year. She was very beatiful features, but, despite her name, she is not over-excessive about her looks, giveing her a more innocent, lighter appearance, her facial features being a slightly sloped nose, not too long, and not short, and not so wide, but thin either, sea-blue eyes, a heart-shaped(So to speak) head, pouting lips, pointed chin, and long eyelashes. She has long, fine blonde hair, and wears little to no make-up on most days, and still looks ravishing. Light complextion, as she usually follows whereever Rymond and Dungnri go. Wand information: 7 in., mahogany, Unicorn hair, good for transfiguration. (Also to note, the tree of which the wand is made, comes from the same tree that was used to make Rymonds wand. Also, the Unicorn hairs are from the same unicorn. Thus, either casters can perform Prior Icantato.) Abilities: Can also transfigure herself, also an unregistered animagus. Animagus form: a Swan. CoO: London Temperment: Despite her name, she is not actually vain. She somewhat hates/loves her parents for always telling her to care more about her appearance, even though she looks better without added make-up or any sort of beatufication-enhacing potion or spell. She is quite like Rymond in most respects, but she is much more kindly to those who cross Rymond, although, she sometime helps him with his schemes. She is very intelligent, most likely the most intelligent out of the other two, Rymond and Dungnri, but she isn't as smart as most Ravenclaws, exactly. Even though she cares little for her appearance, this doesn't stop her from usually flaunting her image and figure in front of Rymond, or for Rymond, if a "girl's touch" is needed in one of his schemes. Problem: So attractive, in both face and figure, she usually draws unwanted attention. Name: "Rose" Lee Age: 14 Gender: Female House: Gryffindor Height: That's the thing, it changes dramtically! 4"9 at first, then 6"0 upward. Weight: Also changes, but in ratio of her height as that grows. Her weight is always the equvelent of her normal height's weight. starts off at: 78 lb.s Apperance: At the begining, she is quite short for her age, but still quite beatiful for her height. She has very lovely features, such as a dainty nose, glistening, pearly-blue eyes, a round head, and a pointed chin. Her figure is hour glass, but not as "full" as Narccissa. (Her figure stays the same no matter how tall she gets, as her weight is always to scale of her heighth according to original height and weight. Ex: She would appear very large, but still have a thin waist line, and the same figure she had at the begining.) Wand information: First: 5 in., yew, and Unicorn hair, excellent for the most effective Lumos spells Abilities: Well-gifted with Lumos-type spells, her wand being able to produce more light than most. Later, she has vast amounts of strength, due to her heighth, and she can uproot trees as easily as picking up a pencil. (Folks, that's stronger than Grawp, Hagrid's not-so-little brother.) CoO: Mountain territories in Tibet. (she grew up quite nromal sized among giants, with only her father close to her size, though still much taller, as, strangely, Rose has always been exceptionally small for age, despite haveing a Giant for a mother, and a tall wizzard father. Her accent is not broken English, as her father was English, but the Tibet, soft-spoken voice is still very-well in her voice. Temperment: Happy with the way she looks, though somewhat challenged by her height at the beginging of the year, as she is sometimes taken for a first year, due to her size. Later, she hates what has happened to her, after the giant blood in her has at last "kicked in", and just wishes she could be normal. She still retains the same soft-spokenness no matter what her size. Problem: Giant blood in her kicks in for the first time in her life during her third year at Hogwarts, causing much drama. And, added with how tall her father was by human standards, the heighth she gains from her giant side is likely to not stop at average Giant heighth. With this, I can create a nice sub-plot, and still interact in Role-play with other people. Whadya, think, can I join?

Which other Role-plays include actual information that will be taught, studied, and tested at the end of year? While, it is still ture, there are so many very good Hogwarts RPs, this one will take you into the very core, and allow you to make your own story, so to speak. I will control the passings of time and events. Look for bold lettering in the subject for time, date, and even phases of the moon changes. But, alas, due to the fact it would be ludicrous to ask each and everyone to be online 24 hours a day, every day of the week, the time will not be in real-time. Basically a Doppleganger of Draco Malfoy in most aspects, but pretends to be much nicer while running his shop. Always plotting and schemeing, Rymond is not exactly known to taint the items he sells, nor does he usually offend one who does not offend him. Offended very easily. But, in comparison to Malfoy, Rymond is nonetheless much more truthfully kinder to mudbloods, one of the only things one can know for certain about him. Good in nature, but not always. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in losses of House points. !Student Role-Play rules 1.) Bullying is allowed in RP, but try to keep it dramatic and not so much hurtful. If your character is being bullied, please do not take it as a personal offence. 2.) Slytherins have a longstanding rivalry with Gryffindors. Hufflepuffs, just and loyal, and Ravenclaws, quick-minded and wisened, usually side with Gryffindor. 3.) Students automatically do what the teacher commands, in certain cases. Ex: If a teacher tells everyone to put of safety precautions before a lesson, all of the students have them on. Otherwise, if a student forgets their wand, books, or ink and quills, then please raise your hand in RP, and the Teacher will call on you. 4.) You must choose a house! 5.) Students can run off and break Hogwarts rules, but they are punishable if caught by prefects, the headboy or girl, and Teachers. 6.) All students must attend Hogwars Quidditch matches starting in November, even if they do not play for their house teams. 7.) Students cannot be homosexual. After all, "Sensual interaction" between students is forbbiden, (But not totally in RP), and this is just not going to be one of those kinds of RPs. Call me Anti-Gay all you want, there's truth to what I'm typing, and there's many reasons for it to be banned totally from this thread. 8.) Students must lock pets such as Rats, toads, cats, and bats in cages and keep those cages in their dormitory, but Owls will be kept in the Owlery on grounds, for student-mailing purposes. 9.) Students cannot die. As with Avada Kedavra is totally forbidden from the RP, students cannot just be killed off. If, by any means, you plan to kill of one of your three student OCs, hopeing to get a slot freed, you will not be allowed to create a new student character. 10.) Try to keep RP descreptive. Not just: "So-so goes to Charms.", "So-so takes out their wand and casts a spell.", or "So-so does the maquerade." 11.) Nothing outrageous in actions, please. Try to keep in character as much as possible. 12.) Students cannot change their house once they are in it. 13.) If a student wishes to join the Quidditch team of their house, please notify me, and I will add you to the roster of hopefuls. Quidditch Team captains then pick out the players they want from that list on the second week of school. Quidditch team captains will be choosen by me. 14.) You are allowed three OCs students. Only two of which, can belong to the same house. 15.) Student birthdays are not included in the template because it is the responsibility of the student in question alone to tell whomever they choose their birthday. 16.) Celebrations for Quidditch, end of year parties, birthdays, and so forth, can only be held in a single house dormitory. Different, seperate celebrations can go on at the same time. 17.) Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin dormitories are protected by passwords which only the students of each house knows. Students can leak out their own house password, but not the password of other houses. 18.) Just because you know the current password for a dorm, does not mean your character does. !Staff Rules 1.) No "created" teachers or classes. The above list is all that shall be added. 2.) Please familiariaze yourself with the character well. McGonagall should act like McGonagall, and Trelawney should act like Trelawney, etc..as J. K. Rowling has set them. 3.) Staff must also attend Quidditch matches, but Prefects are allowed to patrol the halls under their own election. 4.) Prefects have a bathroom and spa of sorts all to themselves, although shared by Qudditch captains, on the fifth floor. 5.) The Staff have a room on the fourth floor, through a secret room in the History of Magic calssroom on the fourth floor. 6.) All matters of Staff can deduct or give house points. Giveing and takeing requires reason, and the limits are 5-50 points taken or given, based on action or seriousness. prefects cannot give their own houses points, but can take away points from students for good cause 7.) If you have the headmaster role, you can have no other roles. 8.) All players can have two teacher roles. (Proffesor bins counts as one for the teacher count, but if you choose him, you cannot have any other ghost roles.) 9.) No Teachers and/or staff can flirt with eachother, snog, or do anything of a relationship manner. Also note, as stated by J. K. Rowling, Dumbledore was Gay, haveing feelings for Grindelwand as a teenager, but it is likely, as he defeated Grindlewad and never came forth with his closet-affection to his dearest friend, Dumbledore is no longer Homosexual. So no ackward "boyscout/Scout Master" moments. This rule of no ackward moments goes for all staff as well. 10.) Head of houses can only go into their own houses dormitory, and on rare or advertisement occasions. 11.) Remus Lupin turns into a werewolf on each full moon. It is Snape's responsibility to make a wolfsbane potion to prevent it. However, it is Lupin's responsibility to drink the said potion. 12.) Even though you may be able to guess who is the new Self-transfiguration teacher, no Staff, ghost, or student knows who he is. Save for Dumbeldore, who hired him. !Ghosts Rules 1.) Ghosts can phase through walls and apparate around the school. 2.) Ghosts cannot go onto the grounds or anywhere outside Hogwarts. 3.) Careful now, while most ghosts are friendly, Peeves is always ready to attack first years by sneaking up behind them and grabbing by the nose. 4.) Argus Filch absoluetly despises Ol' Peevesey, and Peeves takes great pleasure from disturbing this relationship further. When angered and seeing the right opportunity, Filch will always try to get Peeves banished from Hogwarts. 5.) Along with two teacher roles and three student roles, you can only have one ghost. One due to the lack of Ghosts. 6.) Ghosts of the houses are actually pretty civil, despite the Slytherin/Gryffindor feud. But after Slytherin wins a House/Quidditch cup, the bloody Baron becomes unbearabley pompous. 7.) Peeves won't listen to anyone who is a prefect, a first year, or anyone he spontaneously decides to dislike. He takes orders from no one except the ghost who frightens him the most, the Bloody Baron. 8.) If a ghost passes through a person, the person feels as though they have been dropped into a neck-high bucket of cold ice. !Spells Rules 1.) In order to casts spells, wands must be ready, eyes must be set straight ahead, unblinking, and the spell must be said properly. (ex: No mispelling, and all spells must be italicized, to emphansize good pronounciation. ex: Accio 2.) Spells listed below have certain levels, based on simplicity to difficult. 1 is simplest, 10 is for either seventh years, or master wizards and witches only! 3.) Students can only properly cast spells they have learned in class. Or ones they have learned elsewhere and practiced. 4.) The list below does not list all spells that students can do, but only the ones approved by the school of Hogwarts. More spells can be bought in books sold at Rymond Foxely's Shop in the Great Hall. !Quidditch Rules 1.) Quidditch trials will begin on Sep. 15th, trials lasting until Sept. 22nd. 2.) If not all Quidditch postions are filled by the 22nd of Sept., trials will continue until all positions are filled on each team. Trials must end on November 1st. 3.) If a team does not have a full roster of players by November 1st at LEAST, that team cannot play for the Quidditch cup, therefor it cannot play at all. 4.) the last rule is expandable only to the point a team must have at least: A Keeper/Captain, Seeker, one-two chasers, and one beater. However, your odds drop dramatically of winning if you are missing key-players. 5.) If Students wish to qualify for Quidditch, ask Madam Hooch during the first week of term, and your name will be added to the list hopefuls for your house. 6.) please tell Madam Hooch which position you wish to play. 7.) Captains/Keepers, are selected by me OOC, if a person with a fifth year or up character asks. 8.) Captains/keepers of their house select players from their own house list of Quidditch hopefuls during trials. 9.) Captains/Keepers decide practice times for their teams, the only available place to practice being the Qudditch Field. 10.) Captains act also as Keepers of their team's three hoops. 11.) Chasers cannot catch the GoldenSnitch. If a chaser decides to catch the Golden Snitch, the other team rules by default. Loophole: If a snitch is found to be rougued by the opposite team, and in the case the chaser did not willfully catch the ball, the team who rougued the snitch will be banned from continuing in the Quidditch cup matches for the rest of the year. 12.) All players must switch into team uniforms for practices and matches. 13.) All wands must be placed into the individual player's locker before matches. 14.) Fouls can be called by either the announcer or the Referee, Madam Hooch. 15.) Current list of fouls: a.) Useing the beater's stick directly to strike an opponent. Beaters can, however, direct bludgers at opponents, useing the stick, but the hit must be aimed properly. b.) Knocking an opponent off thei broom, by means of foul play. Also, knocking an opponent off their broom at an altitude more than 50 yd.s in the air, is an automatic foul, no matter what. c.) Rouging any ball in the game. d.) Bribeing officials or other teams. e.) useing foreign objects in the game. f.) useing fake Quidditch balls as decoys. 16.) All who ask for a Chaser or beater position first, will automatically join the rosters. Therefore, Captains only have to pick two more chasers, a beater, and a seeker during trials. (Excpet Ravenclaw Capatains, who only have to choose two more chasers and a beater, as the Seeker position is filled by me to help to explain how the role works, as it is the most key part of Quidditch.) !Rymond Foxely's shop rules 1.) Items are bought with the HP-game tradition "Bertie Bott's every Flavor beans". Bertie Botts can be found in bookshelves, on the ground, and in secret passageways. 2.) Only 25 Bertie Botts can be found by each individual student every day. 3.) Rymond's shop is open from 9:00 AM-4:00PM, with times during the day that Rymond takes off himself. 4.) Rymond will not take responsibility for the items you buy, if you get in trouble. You adhere to this rule by purchasing items from him. 5.) For the sake of Role-play, Staff can only close Rymond's shop temporarily, and for only short periods of time, like a day or three days. 6.) Spellbooks purchased by indivdual students cannot be shared with other students, but rather an infinite amount of copies of the books can be purchased once by each student. 7.) No one student ever gets the same wizard card twice from a chocolate frog, but only so many wizard cards are available through chocolate frogs. 8.) Try not to cross Rymond. 9.) Since I'm both homophobic by nature and a Sound and Proud Catholic, everybody's lucky I'm not ranting about something I'm not but understand. I am well aware straight people can contract the same disease, so, like I said before, the only problem is null and void anyway. And as for the Bible being boring and maybe debateable....I've always kept it in mindsight the Bible is in fact written by man, inspired by God. But then again, anybody can say they were inspired by God. Yeah, a dude could take a kid's ice cream cone and say God inspired him to do it. Human beings are fickle things when we have no comprehension. And I almost forgot about the boring part: Boring? meh....a little. I read through half of the New Testement not so long ago, and I didn't find it so boring. And there's a few good moral storys in the Old and New testments as well, if you find the right bible edition and read the right parts and all. But even the bible has been changed numerous times by numerous people. John or Paul might not have been as "sexist" as anyone thinks, due to the fact the Bible has been translated, changed entirely by corrupt people, and the fact nobody's quite sure what was the original text.
Today in history: Bill Clinton passes a law allowing Gay men and Women to join the army under prefferances "don't ask, don't tell, don't persue." Which means don't ask if anyone is gay, don't tell anyone you are Gay if you are, and don't pursue your fellow troops of the same sex in the bunker. To be honest, the only problem there is when a Gay soldier may loose blood on the battlefield, and it's still wet when an open wound touches it, there might be a chance of the other wounded soldier of contracting AIDs. But since not all gay people have AIDs, it's not extremly likely. So, if you really think about it, Gays, Bis, and and Lesbians fight for our freedom to.
