The dream started and I was vomiting onto a dark red cobbled street. I mean, it started while I was vomiting (made for an interesting first thought) so I was confused at first; I finished and looked around and came to the conclusion that I was in Chicago (I've never been to Chicago). It was early in the morning, and the sun had just risen, but the sky was almost black from smoke and the sun looked like a dull red orb. I wasn't properly dressed for winter in Chicago, but it still seemed to be warm (dream logic), so I shrugged it off and stepped over my puddle of vomit and began walking down the empty street. A woman's voice called to me from the right and when I turned I saw what looked like a young teenager crumpled against the wall, clearly dead. Her mouth was open and flies were crawling out of it, but from it issued a sweet and caring voice, like it was a speaker box. "You lost the game..." the voice said, and one of her glassed eyes swiveled and fixed itself on me My initial revulsion at the dead girl passed quickly and as I knelt in closer to her. Her voice became more frantic, "Please just take me home please I just want to leave please Jerome just-(ect ect ect)". I began to feel ill, like something was tearing at my insides. Her lips were quivering and my face was right in front of her's, the closer I looked at her the healthier she looked, and the sicker I felt. Here eyes began to moisten and the color began returning to her cheeks, and I felt myself dying. I collapsed against the wall face first, but I didn't have the strength to move anymore. I felt her rotted hands slowly creep up my arm, and I could feel the flesh mending on her fingers as the flesh of my arm putrefied.. Then I woke up. ._.
While delving into the 30's, 40's and 50's era of music I found some really amazing songs/bands. And now I ask myself. What the fuck happened to music? :T
