Hm. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but the art style feels different from the 1.5 box. It's less detailed and more cute (barring Xehanort, of course). And it feels more busy, like there's too much happening. Still very cool though.

And I'm glad that Aqua's in the center. Everyone who's played BBS knows it's really her game.

I highly recommend getting Once More, so you can survive his Ars Solum slashing combo. Second Chance couldn't hurt either. If you block a lot, I would also recommend getting Renewal Block.

And I forget if this is true or not, but I think if you equip healing items instead of Curaga, Terranort won't be able to heal himself.

Ven's circumstance was pretty rough, but as bad as it was, he had enough time to come to terms with it. By the end of his story arc, he was ready to die.

I would say Terra had it the worst, but it's harder for me to sympathize with him since a lot of what happened was his fault. He's a tragic hero, and I appreciate him as a character for that, and I do feel sorry for him, but his fate could have been avoided if he thought things through a bit more instead of going into a fit of rage. It's a tough call to say who's suffering the most. It's unclear how conscious Terra is, though it seems like he's in a state of turbulent, confused rage, since a part of him attacked Sora. It's pretty safe to assume he lost the battle over his body, since Xehanort gained full control. My guess is he doesn't entirely remember who he is, just that he's angry and regretful, and that he's supposed to set something right. Which is pretty terrible.

Weighing all factors, I think Aqua got the worst deal. As other people stated, she was forced to fight both of her friends, and was able to save neither of them. After sacrificing herself so that Terra has a CHANCE of surviving, she has no way of knowing if any of her actions amounted to anything. She's left wondering if her friends are okay, all the while having to fight a ceaseless, objective-less battle for more than ten years, completely alone. Yes, she has her wayfinder, but that's no substitute for an actual person: it serves little purpose more than giving her a fleeting sense of hope. And she can't even let herself die, because she still has to make it out and save Ven. I think my favorite moment in the entire series is when Aqua starts crying after hearing Sora's name. Because even though she couldn't save her own friends, she felt like she left some impact on this boy, and was really proud of him for doing what she couldn't. And the simple fact that that realization brings her to tears is a testament to just how much she's been through.

Totally agree about Black Powder. I think it's really mediocre as it is. It's extremely repetitive, and considering how long it plays (and at such a pivotal moment) it really needs to be taken to the next level. I'd also like to hear Drops of Poison and Eternal Moments redone. I think the compositions themselves are good, but some of the instruments were a little weak.

I would say I want Dismiss to be remastered, but I honestly think it's perfect as it is, and I'd be afraid they'd change the tone of it by messing with how the instruments are mixed. While overall I think the 1.5 remasters were great, a few took away the original feeling of the songs in the process, like Squirming Evil and The Deep End.

It's been a while, but I think you tap L and R at the same time to lock on. If not, just R.

Officially used to Aqua's new hair. Looks much better. As do the keyblades.

And it looks like they did in fact create high rez textures for everything, and then scale them down for the PSP. Almost every environment texture looks noticeably better, even in Disney worlds (like Castle Of Dreams). As I mentioned before, the Keyblade Graveyard looks especially improved.

Attached image comparisons of everything I mentioned.

Anti-aliasing isn't perfect, but it's pretty damn good.

Noticed they changed the "Command" menu to "Commands" for KH2, I guess so it's consistent with BBS. Also, they spelled "Magic Pulse 2" wrong. I'm hoping it was just a rush job for E3, and they'll fix it. I liked that 1.5 fixed all the typos in ReCoM ("Lethal Flame"->"Lethal Frame", and other subtitle fixes). So I hope they're careful of that. Bugs me.

Nitpicking aside, looks great. Looking forward to the release!

    Really cool stuff.

I never noticed how beat up Aqua's armor looked in KH2 before. Kind of creepy. And BBS textures are looking amazing. Nice to see the Keyblade Graveyard not looking like a pixelated mess. Though I noticed that the quick shots from Blank Points still have old textures (including Aqua's old hair). I know those were pre-rendered scenes in BBS, but I really hope they update them.

Always glad to hear new voice acting clips too. I'm with you guys who are wondering what they're gonna do about Brittany Snow. I like both of them just fine though, so whatevs. Thankfully, I don't think DiZ has any new lines in FM.

I know, you're not wrong. I'm just saying they aren't necessarily hiding shots of their armor from us. Since it doesn't appear very often in game, and we've only seen so many screenshots, there's a pretty good chance it's just coincidence that they haven't shown their armored forms.

I imagine we'll know by E3 if they decided to add it or not. I'm hoping, but I'm not holding my breath.

It would be a nice surprise but I'm not expecting it. There aren't that many scenes where they're in armor, so it could very well be coincidence that they haven't shown much of it yet.

In the Jumpfesta trailer, there was a brief shot of Ven on his keyblade glider. No cape. Seeing that, it's pretty unlikely that they'll add it in now.

Judging from the arrows, it looks like that two-page spread is the timeline of the games. You can see Kingdom Hearts III as well, in the bottom right.

I can't explain every single instance, as it would get extremely speculative, but Roxas throughout the game was having memories from Sora, and he didn't know why. Xion or not, no one told him about Sora because it could potentially ruin everything if Roxas felt more allegiance to Sora than to them. People were hiding information from him, and he felt betrayed. That didn't change.

As for Xemnas, even if the Replica Program wasn't known as a direct failure, there weren't any reported successes. Everyone was wiped out, and Axel never told them about the Riku Replica. Even if they did think it showed promise, they couldn't pursue it any further with Vexen dead.

The simple answer is that they probably didn't think back on anything. It all made sense as it was happening, because Xion existed when everything happened. They didn't question their memories because they didn't remember having any doubts about them. The feelings they had in their memories is what stuck with them: the details weren't necessarily important. That, and there isn't much time between events, so there's little time for self-reflection (in Roxas' case, his memory is wiped completely). We know that Xion isn't gone completely, and that some memory still exists, though on a more subconscious level (Sora shedding a tear when he meets her). It's possible that they have the potential to remember her, or at least realize that there are huge holes in their memories (though forgetting things is natural, so they wouldn't necessarily think it's odd). It just hasn't come up in any substantial way.
