Kick Ass Holy cow, that was amazing! I absolutely love this film -funny considering i don't like gory stuff- but one thing that bugged me was Spoiler Big Daddy's death. Who the hell dies like this, he was barely touched by the fire! His death seems stupid to me, he should have been shot or something if his death was that necessary. It's like he died only to motivate Kick Ass to become a true hero and give his daughter a reason to take revenge Now i have to read the comic.
I never said you don't know about the war but let me put it this way. What if the terrorists were French? What would happen then? I doubt if a war would start. Third world country + oil + U.S attacked= War I can somehow understand your point of view, it is just that i don't believe in this war. Diplomacy exists for a reason. I have, i have. Maybe i've never really paid attention to it but i have. What i am trying to say it is pretty much this: Maybe i am negatively biased towards it for a variety of reasons i can now think of but you have to understand how it seems to the rest of the world. I can understand how it works now, the patriotic feeling of it, pretty much i do and thanks for the explanation both you and DPwolf but it still is a bit awkward to listen to it when you are not from U.S. As i said before look at it from our side. i lol'd xD

Oh really? In what parallel universe you live in? Every single European country knows that this war was started for the oil and they used this tragic event to unfold their plans. Actually the plans of that moron Bush but anyway... Spoiler Go back some years ago. You'll see people all around the world complain, protesting about what is happening in Iraq. About this ridiculous war that everyone knows that is happening -at least mainly- for oil. Or for any other reason that also has one word behind it. Revenge. Very mature. Attack a whole nation because of the terrorists that live there. What happened in U.S with the towers was a tragedy, many people died but the government of U.S should have never started a war. Should i (but lets be fair, who hasn't...)? That's not the point. You fail to see how the motto "God bless America" looks to the rest of the world. It's like "We rule you drool", God supports our nation because we are awesome. And don't tell me that this is not the case with a lot of American citizens. That feeling of superiority, that "logic" that U.S is better than any possible part of the world. You would lie. Pride and patriotism? Go study about our history, we have tons of it without a silly motto. Certainly each and every country has advantages and disadvantages -we surely wave tons of them as well xD- i'm not trying to prove that U.S suck, on the contrary to be honest. I find it a rather nice and interesting country, one that i would like to visit at one point but as i said you have to see things from another perspective. Fair enough. Maybe it is but i never said that this happens only in U.S and we are talking about U.S here. Anyway, i guess we got a little bit too serious for the spamzone. @Kubo: Ρεεεεεεεεεεε! I haven't listened to the first episode yet -and to be honest i won't for quite some time, since first episodes are usually quite awkward to listen to- so i can't judge how much improvement has been made since the previous one but i can honesty say that i rather enjoyed this. But i have to point out certain things that went wrong: - Although both Sabby and Mike's voices can be heard loud and clear (and i can say that you two have lovely voices) this is not the case with DP. I could barely understand one or two words every time DP was talking. It was really annoying. It was as a robot that caught a cold was talking from a galaxy far far away with a bad transmission signal. - Segments and editing: You need a better way to separate the various segments of the show and the editing needs to be improved. Don't cut a segment without an end. I don't remember in which part that happened but all of a sudden after a pause you skipped to the next part of the show. There was some sort of music/intro to be fair but it was awkward. Speaking of awkward, you need a leader of some sort, someone who will act as the main host in a way and will be responsible for running the show, so that there will no more be awkward pauses or "back to you Mike" lines xD You could also reduce those pauses in editing, after 3-4 seconds it gets slightly awkward. And hell no, Winnie is here to stay ;)
I never said it isn't. I often get myself in arguments because as you said i find this not only proof of ignorance but stupid as well. You just can't just judge a whole nation from the politics of their country. I was just giving an example lol And sorry about the mistake in grammar xD "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" lmao And you don't see the difference? "God bless America" as in screw the rest of the world while "God Save the King/Queen" is pretty much logical, just like saying God save our leader, father, whatever. I find this more acceptable. Oh, and this motto is not nearly as overused as the U.S one. Of course all of the countries want oil. America started a war though. I never said the opposite. If you ever happen to come to Greece you will need a guide to avoid the trash we have. But because U.S has become what it is and can influence the world in a global scale in every possible way, be it music, films or whatever the country gets more exposed and the U.S trash travel all over the world. No. No it doesn't. In Greek schools there is no such thing as cliques and everyone here (and by here i mean Greece) can confirm this. I am not saying we are all happy and love each other, the opposite to be honest, but we just don't categorize people (at least not nearly to extent foreign countries do so that cliques can exist). Plus we don't have jogs or cheer leaders (thank God) Right back at you. Agreed.
The reasons are obvious, the war on Iraq, U.S's greedy politics when it comes to oil, the feeling of superiority that U.S has and tries to show to the rest of the world (seriously? "God bless America"? lmao WTF?!) etc. etc but we also have to take some factors into account when it comes to occasions like the Russia - America rivalry. Also, there's quite a huge hatred towards U.S here in Greece for a variety of political reasons. It's not a hatred or dislike towards every single American citizen, it is an occasion of dislike of U.S politics and behavior towards other countries. Maybe about culture as well. There are some really trash worthy things there. Don't get me wrong, personally i have no problem,(What bugs me though about U.S is the whole clanish school system. Seriously why people are separated in teams like "popular", "nerds" and crap like that...?) but yeah, it has mostly to do with politics. Seriously, do some research before you start a topic like this. @Kubo: Aside from the fact that a lot of the women in Greece have a hideous taste and look like wh*res you can't judge a whole nation by saying things like "Italian guys are hot" or "Norwegians are fugly" Seriously, you just can't >.>

Oh, so this is why i got the lovely pink pin? Oh please please keep them, they are really nice :p We have that kind of awards at Kyle XYnet or whatever that place was, i don't remember to be honest, but anyway... But yeah, it didn't go on member's heads. It was barely noticeable to be honest.

I am getting more and more disappointed by the way Tegami Bachi is treated. The manga has a great reach story and each chapter is long enough to fill a full episode and maybe half of the next one. That said, for some reason certain characters follow different paths in the anime for no obvious reason, scenes from later chapters appeared in the earlier episodes, creating a chaos since things that were supposed to happen won't happen because they already have, or happen in a different way. The first season was brilliant, it followed the story and all of the fillers were really good and enriched somewhat the story and the character whereas in the second season, this far at least, there are no fillers but everything is pretty messed up. When it comes to fillers, i usually don't mind them as long as they have something to offer. D.gray - Man had very good filler episodes, although to be honest, the Lullubel arc was really annoying.
