I hadn't come back to the thread until after he had already been hard lynched that day. I saw that he was the Reporter before I saw that post giving hint to his identity. While it would have been nice for Ben to have actually said something in his defense, there was only about an hour or so left at that point and it would not have been enough time to not only turn people away from him, but onto someone else entirely. He was passed a soft lynch and even if he had managed to clear his name, we would have most likely ended up in a no lynch for the day which would have been even less beneficial than lynching the Reporter.

I can't say much right now, as I am at work and have a doule today, but I think it might be good to go back and check Ben's posts. True he wasn't the reporter for long, but there is always the possibility that he managed to find something out on the first night and included it in his posts for day two. He did have suspicions of a few people, after all.

We rarely talk and we are at two different places in our lives, but we still find time to see each other. We spent the day together for the first time in probably over a year last weekend and it was great. I have a friend that moved to Arizona a couple of years ago and while we don't talk often, we have been making plans for me to come down and see her when I can finally manage time off.

Just don't give up. I don't care what anyone says, you don't have to be able to see a friend on a daily basis for them to be a friend.

i also find it very suspicious that makaze didnt die last night. If the mafia is using him as a cover, then it is most likely some people we have had deep suspicions of before. Rid the shield and the soldier is exposed -- or we kill a mafia member.

I have been trying to decide if Ben's death is a good thing or not. Yes, we managed to rid ourselves of a non-town aligned role, but he could have been useful at helping find mafia members.
