Right, so I'm a bus councelor during my highschool's summer camp, and I'm one of four councelors on the bus. The other three are guys and don't do anything.
They fight over Chex Mix. >_>

I have to take attendence every afternoon, and yesterday none of the kids were listening. This is pretty much how it went:

Me: ALRIGHT. Everyone sit down and be quiet for like FIVE MINUTES. The faster we take attendence the fas- *hit with a bottle of sunscreen* Sunscreen is NOT A TOY. SIT DOWN.
Keith (other councelor): Listen to her or she'll eat you alive!
Me: Keith go to the back and fight over the food.

Then two kids start playing mercy, and Keith decides to step in again.

Keith: You'll be begging for mercy if she goes and breaks you two up!
    Me: KEITH. GO. NOW.
*kids continue to beat each other up*
Me: OKAY! EVERYONE SHUT UP NOW OR ELSE I'LL DUCT TAPE ALL OF YOU TO THE ROOF MONDAY.

And I swear to God, the whole bus went dead slient. xDDD

Earlier that day at ice cream, the kids were sugar high, and they decided that they didn't want any more ice cream and that I made a great moving target.
    Result: Projectile ice cream.

All this for below minimum wage. :'D

I'm really tired of using my gel pens to ink stuff I draw. Plus, if I get semi-serious about drawing manga, I don't want to use my nice, shiny, expensively packed Staedtler pen that I need for school.

Suggestions that are preferably cheap and not hard to find? :3

So, with the addition of InuYasha volume thirty-three yesterday, my manga collection has reached 150 volumes.
Not including Shonen Jump and the old manga I never read in my closet. 8D

    WHEE!
And I'm not gonna bother doing the math to see how much it's all worth, since they're all at different prices. xDD

Right. So...when my mom told me I had to go to the doctor's today for an annual check up, the first question I asked was, "Do I need to get a shot?"
    She said no.

When we get to the office, my doctor goes, "Okay, so today you only need one shot. But we can add this extra vaccination, if you'd like."

My heart rate pretty much went through the roof then.

    My mom says, "Sure."
Then we learn that I'll have to go back four months and then six months from now to get follow ups to it.
    At this point, I'm hysterical.

The nurse comes in, I'm hyperventilating and kinda crying, and then she gives the usual "this won't hurt" speech, and of course it hurts.
Then the second shot came. And I will not even describe how much it hurt. Imaging taking a small knife, jamming it in your arm, and turning it a bit. That's what it felt like.

So now I can't really move my arms because they hurt. I'm also starting to feel sick from the shot, and I will add this bit of conversation just to show you how insane I was before the nurse came in.

While vaccinating the entire global population against viruses like smallpox and anthrax may seem like a good thing, there are also possible consequences. Humans are killed by two things; disease and other humans. Disease has become the method of natural selection for the human race. Smallpox is called the most feared and deadly disease because it killed so many people. The reason it caused so many deaths is because the victims had a weaker immune system than others and could not recover. This is nature’s way of using “survival of the fittest†in the human race. By allowing smallpox and/or anthrax to survive in the world, people with weaker immune systems can die; while this may seem like a horrible thing, it makes future generations naturally resistant to smallpox or anthrax over time.

Now that smallpox exists (officially) only in the freezers of the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta and Vector in Russia and has not been thawed recently doesn’t mean that other countries that are potentially hostile to the U.S. do not have access to it. During the anthrax scare in the months following 9/11, the U.S. found that an Afghanistan lab had a bioreactor that could create anthrax. If the genes of smallpox were altered, or someone used pure, undetectable anthrax spores, many people today would not have the natural built up resistance to the viruses. In “eliminating†smallpox during the Eradication of the nineteen-seventies, we could have doomed ourselves by not having the immunity of smallpox. In the Australian scientists’ experiment with an altered mousepox virus, the immunized mice all died when injected with the virus. If someone were to create a superpox, or smallpox with the human IL-4 gene spliced into it, humanity would have no immunity to the supervirus. Not only that, but the United States would not have the necessary stockpiles of smallpox vaccine to even combat the superpox.

The Eradicators may have saved countless lives by vaccinating anyone with smallpox, but this may eventually kill us if a human or even nature develops a strain of smallpox that is resistant to antibiotics and the human immune system. If by letting many die causes more people to develop a stronger immune system, then I believe that we should have let nature run its course and use natural selection to better the human race. Natural selection in the past (by letting smallpox “liveâ€) could possibly save an even greater amount of lives in the event of superpox bioterrorism in the future.

Alright, so we all know that summer movies are usually the best thing to look forward to when it's unbearably hot outside, you want to hang out with your friends, or if you're lazy like me and just want to kill a few hours in air conditioning.
Here's where you can discuss ALL of the movies, review them and critique, give some insight on how you think upcoming summer movies will do in the box office, and which ones you're looking forward to.
And like the other movie review thread, use longer sentences and reasons.
Don't be like, "The Dark Knight is awesome because it's Batman."

So here's the list; I'll start with the beginning of June and end it with August. :3

    Kung Fu Panda
You Don't Mess with the Zohan
    The Happening
    The Incredible Hulk
    Get Smart
    The Love Guru
    WALL-E
    Hancock
    Hellboy II: The Golden Army
Journey to the Center of the Earth 3-D
The Midnight Meat Train (Yes, it really is called "Meat Train")
    The Dark Knight
    Mamma Mia!
The X-Files: I Want to Believe
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2
    Far Cry (video game based)
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (animated)
Disaster Movie (something along the lines of another Epic Movie/Meet the Spartans)

If I missed anything, let me know via PM so we don't get a bunch of short random posts.
    So comment away. :3

    Age: 18

    Rank: Super Moderator

Specialties: Game design, graphics, writing, music, hunting bots

Interests: Anime/manga, video games, music, playing the piano, graphics, writing, reading, Star Wars, sketching/drawing/whatever you want to call it, cosplaying

Personality: A lot of people seem to think I'm incredibly scary, but if you actually talk to me I'm not. My sense of humor's a little twisted, but if we share a common interest, don't hesitate to talk to me about it because I'd be glad to. I'm honestly pretty laid back so if you think I'm angry, 95% of the time I'm actually not.

Welcome to the wolf den. :3

Decided to open up my own shop. Eheh. ^^

I'm making sigs, desktops, and manga recolorings right now, so I'll set up some guidelines for those. For the manga recoloring, a good site with a lot of manga is OneManga.com.

What you can't give me as an image
    A small, blurry, low-quality image
FAN ART. NOT ACCEPTED AT ALL
    Anything offensive/inappropriate

    RULES
    - Use good grammar; for my sanity and your safety
    - Don't spam here or flame.
    - If I can't make the text fit, there's not gonna be text.
    - I will adjust stock/canvas size if necessary
    - Rep is appreciated

    SIGS:
    Basic template

Size (if no preference, I use 400x100):

    Color scheme (optional):

    DESKTOPS:
    Basic template

    Desktop dimensions (Heightxwidth):
