I think Mass Effect is much, much better than Dragon Age. Especially as a series. Dragon Age II was very disappointing, and most of the story and lore in Dragon Age is very generic.
Not every game has to be "exciting" to be fun. There was nothing even remotely satisfying about any other combat system in the series, other than maybe Tactics. Plus the story wasn't as fantastical as most other games like FFX and FFXIII.
They would be smart to polish up the best game in the series.
It took me so damn long because I was too busy doing bounties. That bounty board has to be one of my all time favorite things to do in a video game.
