Yeah, I'm rereading the series to help with the Pendragon Parody Series on YouTube, and the first book's character development is amazing. Honestly, the books don't really go into details about environments; they give you small details and a broad outline but leave the rest up to your imagination, and focus on making the characters in the books worlds themselves. Honestly, these books are amazing and book9 is going to kick ***. I contacted DJ MacHale and he told me that there are going to be 10 books so the series is really winding down!
There's a lot of Star Wars books, I haven't read them all but I've read a few and they were very interesting. I like reading about what the Jedi have done before.
Parents teach us many things, but unless they practice domestic violence, alcohol abuse, etc. I don't think they're bad role model. I love my parents and think they are great role models. Unless it's getting up in the morning or getting off the computer at 3 A.M. they let me make my own choices and I really like that they do that. Also, they have more experience than us and we learn off them. So no, my parents or the parents of most people I know are bad role models. I think they're all good. Maybe because you feel yours are, you have that mindset but I don't tihnk mine are bad at all.
