This thread is to help some people who are confused as to how to deal with things when coming down to positive things and negative things in their every-day experiences.

There's a very important thing to keep in mind when dealing with positive and negative attitudes. When dealing with that kind of intuition, most, if not all the time, the negative aspects appeal far more than the positive ones, and generally seem to outweigh them. And with attitudes, it's no different. For example, if you are constantly negative, the only thing you will attract is negative vibe/attitude/etc..

Let's suppose that one day you just say it was a "bad day." Well, it wasn't really a bad day, but let's say you thought it was. That was because seemingly "negative" things were going on; instead, try to reflect a more positive attitude, even if it requires the extra energy. I'm not saying be like Orihime from Bleach and just be a mindless happy slave; that's not the point. Realizing and being aware of negative and positive aspects in life is very important because it teaches you when to pin-point them and avoid/grab them when necessary.

And if possible, try to not even CONSIDER bad & good aspects. Which is something I normally try to do. Instead of experiencing things as positive and negative, experience them as unconditional (without assumption of attitude). If you can do that, then you won't have to constantly feel hammered by things like girls, boys, people, social lives, and the like.

    Hope that helps.

I put up my computer for sale on craigslist, and a guy calls me who is interested.

And what does he want?He wants the recovery disc that goes with my computer. Srsli. Wut up w/ dat?

lol But it didn't really matter, since the comp I'm selling is a self-recovery system (you hit f10 at start up and it recovers/rebuilds). It didn't have one to start with.

    True story.

I saw his sig and decided to try out his style. I made some tweaks here and there, but overall I like it.

Signature of the week rules are as follows:
    1. Max demensions are 420 x 160 (UNLESS permitted otherwise). However, if you do a vert tag (a tag with the opposite dimensions as 420 x 160), that will be allowed normally, as well.

    4. Cheating, bribing, and other forms of "getting ahead of the game" tactics. If you're caught doing this, don't expect lenient punishment.

    5. This is a very big one: Ripping. Quite simply, don't do it.
If you have questions on this, refer to THIS thread.

    6. Only count on winning so many times in a row before you end up having to sit on the side lines till another SOTW. Here, you are allowed to win two consecutive times (in a row). Then you will have to wait for the next SOTW to pass to enter again.

    7. Have fun with signature of the week!!!!
It's an open competition for anyone who wants to enter, so don't be shy. =)

Guidelines on voting are as follows:
    (Thanks to Hissora for this)...

Some members were curious to as how the voting works. When you vote you will pick your top 3 favorite and put your reasons like this:

When it's time to count up the votes, your first vote will give that user three points. Second two points. Third one point. The user with the most points wins. Simple, yes?

    Enjoy your sig making~!,
    -Hissy

    ---

Note: If you aren't following the voting process like stated above, your vote will not be counted.

EDIT 7/22/08 - This just in, you can't vote for yourself.

EDIT 1/30/2011 - If you entered, you MUST vote or you will be disqualified!

    Jesus Camp

While I was on KHI an hour ago or so, I found an interesting video (in 9 parts) about "Jesus Camp."

Watch the video for yourself if you want. I am only on part 2 right now. lol

The question is, are kids who grow up under Evangelical Christian values being "brainwashed" by this? What are your thoughts?

    Myth
    \ENTRY THREAD\ENTRIES DUE JUNE 20TH 08\

This week's SotW is simple. Create a sig that you feel expresses your feelings when regarding a myth. Do as you want, whether you prefer it to be religion, fiction, stories, or just anything that is "made up" in a mythical sense you feel fits into this theme!

Entries are due June 20th, '08. Good luck everyone!

It's on every weekday morning. It just started, so I won't be surprised if people don't watch it. lol

It's just basically a bunch of older G4 shows (like the original X-Play, G4TV.com (the show), Judgement Day, etc).

I watch it when I can. I really enjoy seeing the older episodes. They were the best. <3 lol
