I haven't played any of the Silent Hill games, or any of the Resident Evil games (I just finished watching the first movie, and I'm about to watch the second, so I'm sure that's about to change), hell, any games with a "horror" theme. But I have played Bioshock. I was aimlessly wandering around, and all of a sudden a Big Daddy smashed into me, and killed me in like, a second. I leaped off of my bed, and after staring at the t.v. for about ten seconds in shock (t'was very sudden, and I hadn't encountered anything for like, 5 or six minutes of gameplay), I started shouting WTF!?!??!? at my t.v. I found it rather funny later on, but I was pissed.
Nintendo has been doing some rather odd things lately. Almost makes me glad I went with Microsoft and bought a 360. Almost. I kinda feel sorry for the people who actually do have a Wii. Must really suck to find out that something you've wanted so bad has already been out, and it was never announced. This makes me sad. 1. Jayn is too awesome to get suspended. 2. The Schoolboard finds enough reasons to punish us with things that are actually "wrong", and now they're starting to come up with some weird crap to get puished for (I have Saturday detention for three weeks because I was walking down "B Hall" towards my school's office, because my mom was checking me out of school. It was my lunch period, so I didn't have a hall pass. Three weeks of Saturday. Very fair.) in the first place. Now for things that don't really harm anyone? I mean, its not like you were writing down people's names or anything (is that why it was "almost" a suspension?). Even if you were, no one would drop dead. I guess the symbolism behind it isn't very innocent, but its not like a week from now you're going to bring a knife to school and start stealth assassinating people -_-.

Completely agree, XD. My favorites would have to be Such Horrible Things, then A Gorey Demise, and then Six Foot Deep. The rest are meh in actually musical quality (more or less), but if you're a huge horror move fan/dark romanticism literature fan (Edgar Allan Poe ftw), some of them have epic references. Buried Alive references Edgar Allan Poe's writings over 20 times. A Gorey Demise is a homage to Ed Gorey's book called The Gashlycrumb Tinies. I'm trying to find a copy of it now for giggles. Its very hard... Look to the Skies is based on the movie Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Epic movie, too.
