The British Empire is STILL a force to be reckoned with, but the U.S. is the big dog in the yard. I still find it ironic that one of the youngest nations in the world can rise to the top like that.
Rap is a form of music. Beats + Lyrics = Music. If that's how people want to express themselves, then why make fun and say it isn't?
Suicide Having lost one of my very close friends to suicide about 10 years ago I've come to veiw it as a coward's way out. My friend was forced to break up with his girlfriend because of her parents and he was too weak to deal with it. He snuck out of his house later that night and hanged himself. He was too selfish to to reach out to his friends, too scared to face the future, and too stupid to consider the people he left behind. It also shows that you had no real attachment to this world or those people you call friends. Suicide only leaves pain and sadness behind.
Wow! That is pretty creepy that teachers would join in. But your bedroom and other personal life should be kept to yourself. I don't know why kids think it's cool to go around bragging about what they smoked or drank, who they did, how they did it, how tight her this was, how big his that was...And on and on. In the end it starts rumors and only brings trouble.
Usually a good ass kicking is enough to make anyone realize that they messed up. Anyway, I think what you did was right. I wouldn't be able to just stand around and pretend like nothing happened. These types of thing are a constant reminder of why people should go to parties with friends.
