More colors, less contrast (you might have overlayed too much, dunno, or too big contrast layer), less blurry and add an unsaturated applied image at the top at like 25% or something.
I never liked sprite sigs, will never like em (probably) and will never make em. About the other one though, hard to say what version is better. Seems to me like in the middle would look better (applying v2 image on v1 and I'm guessing around 75% would look best) IMO. Not your best though. 8/10

Yea, but teh smudging was in the top layers apparently. v2 is way better. Now it has 8.5/10. As much as I can ignore the border, I can't ignore the text. As unreadable as t is though, it kinda adds to the effects xD

It's good but way too smudged. The colors blend around too much, making it too uniform. The lower right corner lacks stuff and depth too. Colors are a big issue. otheriwse it looks good, render is nicely placed and text is OK, even though the green doesn't fit really in. 7.5/10

The effect of the blocks? Ya, but it's called Extrusion. It's normally not really used but since my tag was so bad, I decided to try it. It was also to avoid the bad flow that was there. Oh, and the render looks slapped on cuz I erased the extrusion over it :D Thx
