My god, first of all (true) heartlesses are shadows but as Kairi is a PRINCESS OF HEART she has no darkness, therefore no heartless/shadow, her light is just manifested as a lifeless copy of her body, and besides, her heart is restored way before Xion appears. On a side note, Kairi being a princess of heart perfectly shows Kairi's connection to TAV, as they are looking for Princesses of Heart in the game. :3. It explains why Terra goes to Destiny- OMG BBS might explain exactly why Kairi was sent off to the Destiny Islands!!!!!!!!!!!!
