Ananta watched as Steel was finally damaged enough to actually need some healing. "Steel! You barely survive!" she gasped, runing over and petting his head. "Here, let me heal you." she said, holding her keyblade and murmuring a Cura spell.

Daeni had, reluctantly, followed behind Cerdic and the others. While she wasn't finished with what Cerdic was talking about, she at least was going to be civil with him. They were comrades after all and comrades do butt heads sometimes, so it's not like she'd hate him after that. No, she was just upset he wouldn't let anybody else see the journal to try and analyze anything inside of it. Of course, she didn't bother trying to retrieve it from Cerdic after they left the graveyard. What was the point? They'd just get into another argument and then somebody would probably get hurt or some words would be said. Daeni didn't want to argue. She hated arguing and it scared her sometimes even thinking of arguing with a person. She'd rather just try to get her way or just let the other person have their way. Whatever made things better in the end is what she'd do.

As they made their way to the town, Daeni looked on to see a line of heartless glaring at the group. She was prepared to start fighting when Ria appeared and started to talk to them. Ria mentioned they were less two members. Daeni blinked and looked around. No, everyone was here from the graveyard. Did Ria mean from the other group...? It still hurt, especially after Ria started to show off their keyblades and mock their group for not responding to the keyblades like he had hoped. "Damn you..." she muttered, wiping her eyes of tears that formed and glaring at Ria.

    Then she heard Chloe's voice.

Daeni felt something inside of her start to churn and burn her deep inside. She wanted to kill Ria now. She looked on, with a stare that could kill. She looked upon Ria's face and snarled her lips. She was ready to pounce when Ria started to talk again. Daeni only stopped to listen to see if Ria had anything else that was important to say. She had heard Cerdic ask what Ria was. It's true, Ria seemed realyl odd considering RIa just mimicked Chloe's voice. But people could do that...though it was really odd. It sounded almost just like Chloe.

Daeni was sure that Ria was just mocking them. Then Ria set Cerdic off, who ran to Ria and sliced. Daeni followed suit and rushed forward, moving to attack in a different direction than Cerdic, watching Ria for any signs of counterattack. "I'll kill you!" she screamed at Ria.

Ananta looked at the situation and looked at her own list of magic and sighed to herself. "Curse me for not bringing Fire..." she mumbled as she shook her head. She then looked upon the two heartless and held her keyblade in front of her. "These heartless don't even know the gravity of this situation!" she called out.

Ananta decided that maybe using Cura on herself was a good idea considering that she was smacked with a staff.

Struck once more, Ananta was able to deflect a lot of the take thanks to her Aero spell and also from blocking it a little. But she still got hurt a decent amount. Once again, she felt Luna's Cura on her and once more, she gave a thumbs up to Luna. But what she didn't expect was to see Steel so injured. "Steel!" Ananta called, running towards him and using her magic to quickly give him a healing boost. "You okay?" she asked

Ananta watched the two heartless attack and was taken aback by the sudden strike from one of them. It sent her flying backwards and into the wall. Ananta coughed at the impact, but was luckily saved from anything more serious, thanks to her magic. She sat for a moment, wondering if she would heal herself or would somebody else do it for her. She then felt a relaxing Cure spell come from someone. She opened her eyes to see Luna pointing her keyblade towards her. "Thank you, Luna!" Ananta called, standing up and dusting herself off. She looked to the wall and tsk'd.

"What a shame, the wall was ancient and so pretty. Ahh well." she said, turning back to the two heartless before her. She pulled her keyblade and ran towards the heartless, attacking the fire one again.

Ananta did a combo on the Fire Lord! (note: I have no clue whether or not the heartless are in the air or the ground.)

"Er...tell Beuce thanks??" Ananta didn't understand why Beuce was so adamant about getting their morale up....they weren't even tired yet, as far as she could tell. Ananta shrugged and looked to see Luna cast Aeroga on Aislinn. Aislinn attacked the heartless and Ananta figured she could just attack now since, well, they cast their abilities that were defensive and all. Besides, Ananta was curious at how powerful she was now that she was going to be a Master. She had to have some kind of power now, right?

So, Ananta held her keyblade and got a little closer to the Fire heartless. She stood there and held her blade out front, feeling magic course through her as she yelled, "Blizarra!" and watched ice form on the heartless.

Daeni listened to Cerdic and felt her keyblade get jerked away from her. She didn't care now, she just frowned and looked to see Marley grab Relli. She didn't care that her keyblade was knocked away. No, she was more interested in the fact that Cerdic was making such a big deal of the page and the journal itself. Saying it had all the answers they needed, but she certainly didn't believe it. She needed to see it herself.

So, she stepped off of Cerdic and dusted off his back and front when he stood up. She looked at him and sighed, her expression softening. "Sorry..." she said timidly, turning towards Marley. "I need to see that page and the journal. I need to see it for myself." she said, stopping Marley before they left. "Please let me see it."

Ananta bit her lip as Frollo sicked two heartless on their party. A red one that, she assumed, was fire type. A blue one that, again, was assumed to be ice type. That was easy enough, but Ananta would have to focus her magic on the red one since she only brought Blizarra along for the ride.

Of course, she was smacked by some attack, so the next thought in her head was protecting herself better.

"Aero!" Ananta called, casting the spell and standing back, waiting for the others.

Snatching things from her was what made Daeni want to almost snap Cerdic's neck. But she kept that to herself and crossed her arms. She glared at Cerdic as he flipped through the pages, but soon enough, Cerdic was on the ground, acting like a brat and keeping the journal to himself. Relli and Marley were nearby and that gave Daeni some hope that they could get the Journal back before Cerdic could do any harm. "Wanna be a tough guy?" Daeni said, walking over. She looked to Marley. "Could you kindly find a way to lock that door? Or at least make some kind of a magical barrier that nobody can get past until you remove it?" she looked to Marley, but didn't wait for an answer.

Daeni stepped over to Cerdic and looked down at him. "Give it back." she snarled. She didn't wait for an answer before she put her foot on Cerdic's back, between his shoulder blades, and pushed a little. "Do we have to force you to give it back? I don't wanna do that." she sighed. Nevertheless, she did summon her keyblade and point it at Cerdic. "Please just give it back. That journal is way too important, I can feel it."

For most of the entire fight, Ananta was busy doing her own thing. She wasn't even hurting the guards. She was jumping and dodging their attacks as she was helping the straggling Gypsies get away. Aislinn and Luna were doing wonders lowering the number of guards. Ananta was appreciative that neither of them seemed to have a problem with what she was doing, too. She just finished getting two children to some adults when she heard guards clanking behind her. Ananta immediately turned and threw down a Mine Shield spell. The guards were too preoccupied to notice the magic and were immediately taken out by it.

That was 3 guards. But 7 more were glaring Ananta down, ready to cut her up into tiny pieces. Or at least, take her prisoner for witchcraft, as they were spouting around her. "Oh please." Ananta sighed, summoning her keyblade and standing ready to strike back at any guard that dared to step forward. And one did, rushing her to try and catch her off guard. Pointless, since she dodged him and applied a firm smack with her keyblade to his head, watching him go down.

6 guards left and she was just getting started. Ananta ran forward and started to hit three guards over and over. She noticed they were getting close to being knocked out, so she decided to use a rather flashy finisher. As Ananta used the last attack on an enemy, she caused a mini-explosion that damaged those same three guards she was attacking. This scared the last three to back away and run off.

Ananta watched them run and sighed in relief, knowing she'd at least be left alone to deal with a few more people who couldn't quite get going on their own. To her right, Ananta noticed an elderly woman trying to gather a few valuables into a basket. The guards hadn't noticed her and she looked to be moving as quietly as she could. Ananta moved over and stood in next to her.

The woman jumped a little and a few things moved around in her basket, causing a guard to turn and stare in their direciton. Ananta had moved and ducked down with the woman. "Shh...I'll help you get to the others waiting for you...I'm sorry I can't save the ones that were already captured by Frollo...but please, I can get you to where a few are waiting for stragglers that could be saved."

She was scared and not wanting to be anywhere near anybody, but the woman was understanding, knowing she was probably safer with Ananta. So once she had gotten a few more things, Ananta got her to safety and started to search for anyone else. From the looks of things, either they were all gone or they were captured by this point, so Ananta started to run towards Aislinn and Luna. A guard stopped her though and started to swing his sword. Ananta summoned her keyblade and blocked the blade, grunting and shoving the guard off. She then started to slash at this guard, knocking him out after a few hits.

Without hesitation, she continued forward and was met with one more guard. He wanted to try and get Ananta, but she simply attacked him with a combo, finishing off with the same finisher from earlier. The guard fell and Ananta was free to run towards her comrades. "Aislinn! Luna!" she called, managing to get next to them.

One last, feeble looking, guard came forward and Ananta almost felt bad that he was forced to fight them. She decided to knock him down and stomp her foot onto his chestplate, causing the wind to knock out of him. She stood there, foot on the guard, and looked up at the two. "Sorry I wasn't able to fight much." she said. "But I had to save as many as I could...even if it was just a few."

"What're you going to do to it?" Daeni asked Cerdic. "We have to keep it, we may need it later. I won't give it back to Aevum, but what if it has what we need in it?" She said this to Cerdic while clutching the journal tightly. "I'll give it to you, but don't destroy it, okay?"

It wasn't like she knew he was going to destroy it. She just had this bad feeling based on Cerdic's reaction to things lately. The journal felt like it was full of knowledge that they may need. She definitely wouldn't let it leave her sight or her persons as long as she had it. Well, it wouldn't go that far. She'd let Cerdic see it, sure, but she'd certainly hate him if he destroyed it.

Daeni handed the journal to Cerdic and muttered something to herself. "You're going to destroy it....aren't you?"

Memories came back and flooded Daeni's brain, causing her to fall to her knees. She held her head and groaned in pain, watching a memory flash before her eyes. She paid close attention and started to cry. "But it did happen..." she said, as the memory faded back into her brain. She looked up to Relli and looked a little sad. "Relli, it did happen." she said again, standing up and gazing to the sky. "Alder did his best, I think...but it did happen...I...I think...if this heartless are any proof of it." she said.

Feeling the light shine down made her feel warm again. For the longest time, Daeni felt cold, even with the sweater. "The light sure is warm..." she smiled, closing her eyes and enjoying this momentary light.

While Daeni wasn't quite proud of what she just did, she did it for the goodness of the group. Sure, Cerdic suggested putting the book back, but what was the point? It had some good stuff in it and Daeni just knew it belonged to somebody important. Maybe she'd find out who it went to some day, but for now, she had to protect it. So, she stayed in the crypt and listened to her comrades simply fight their hearts out.

When the dust settled and she couldn't hear fighting any more, Daeni emerged from the crypt, journal in her hand. She gripped it tightly and stared at her comrades. "Is it safe?" she asked.
