Sora has alot of help, and is slightly better than Riku only because of that.
Riku did alot by himself and is slightly weaker than Sora.

It might change in the future because Riku seems like he has the true potential to complete many awesome things, because he's not simply limited to the powers of the light, and he has the will to travel and learn.
