Listening to Kaida speak of her own home and way of being raised made Ananta raise an eyebrow. "Well, I was raised by my Grandmother more so than my parents, if that helps. Though she wasn't my Grandmother by blood, she was just...a Sage who took me under her wing since I was born." Ananta smiled, remembering her. "Honestly, I...I didn't really know my parents that well before my world disappeared. They kind of...distanced themselves away from me. I was just a person they gave a room to in their house by the time I was 16, so...I guess I understand you, Kaida." Ananta rubbed her arm and remembered the years of always being left in her Grandmother's care and being raised to be a Sage. That was her only dream she ever had since she could remember. In fact, she could remember a few times her 'parents' were rather negligent in raising her. She didn't want to go all into that, but the gist was spoken. It kind of hurt thinking about it. "Yeah, I'd rather not continue this subject." she said, looking a little sad. "Makes me wish I was raised in Central Haven, too. At least then I'd have had friends." Qamar followed along and stopped when Thallasa spoke about the men below. She knelt down and sniffed the air, scrunching her face at the strong scent of alcohol. "Disgusting...they don't even have anything good..." she muttered, scanning the room and noticing very few paths along the wall. There was one that looked to lead across the entire room, but it was rather rundown looking. Placing a hand to her chin, Qamar spoke. "We could try to cross, but uh...." she noticed the dragons across the room. "Maybe we ought to wait here and see what happens? Maybe they'll bring Hen Wen out for all we know."
Ananta watched the banter between her party members before a thought came to her head. Aux just asked for Stratos' name and she realized maybe he didn't know hers just yet. She was about to tell him when Steel brought a surf board...out of...no...where....? Ananta tilted her head in confusion. "That's odd for you to have..." she said, glancing at Steel. "I didn't know you knew how to surf." Seconds passed and Ananta shrugged, looking to Aux. "Since you learned Stratos' name, I don't think I ever told you mine? It's uh...Ananta if you didn't know." she said. "Ananta." she repeated slowly. "It's kind of an odd name....but it's just a think they do on my world. Naming first borns after respective parent. Boy to Dad, girl to mom, etc etc." She shrugged and put her hands behind her back, sticking the squirrel in her imaginary pocket. "Do...do they do that on other worlds...?" she asked, unsure. Stratos approached and Ananta smiled. "I'd love to have some more ice cream. And maybe then, Aux could eat his." she said this, glancing off in the direction of the dropped treat. Ananta looked in Aux's hand and saw a a wittled animal too. "Oh, his is a lion. That explains Pridelands." Ananta chuckled, looking to Kaida. "SO far, this blue dog hasn't really seemed that dangerous to me. In fact, he seems more tame. I'm probably stating the obvious when I say I think those two guys were lying to us." She said this and crossed her arms. "But watching the dog for now seems to be a better idea, the only thing he's done is destroy some watermelon as far as I can tell." Through all of this darkness, Qamar's eyes were more yellow than before. A lighter yellow and a small tinge of light came off of them that was only noticeable if one looked close enough. She knew of this affliction, but never really bothered to point it out to others since it almost never cropped up except when things got dark. She followed along silently before she saw Dallben again. It was rather odd to see him, but Qamar didn't quite question it yet. Though now that he lead them to the castle, she was wary. Qamar slipped through the crack, after sucking in a bit, she looked at Thallasa. "Master...I don't trust Dallben...that...that man...he seemed odd..." she commented quietly. Not to mention the fact that this place stank to the high heavens, but Qamar smelled worse. At least it wasn't a smell of....well...other things.
Ananta looked down at the squirrel and she smiled. She took the whittled animal and soon replaced it with the yellow flower. "I'm sorry, too, I just...well..I should of given you some space. I just...I just thought maybe you'd want somebody to be there and try to keep your mind off things..." she thought of what to say next and she sighed. "I kind of know why you're angry. I mean, I won't ever know exactly how you feel, but I want to at least try...since I know what it feels like to lose somebody important to you." she said, holding the squirrel close to her chest. "You're not alone, Kaida. You've got me and everyone else. We've all been there, I think...." She put a hand on Kaida's hand where the flower was and she closed her eyes. "I'll always be there for you. So let me be there to know what's troubling you, okay? I'm a good listener I think...." Aux 14 Ananta 11 Steel 10 Stratos 11 Kaida 20
Dastgir stopped and looked at Rydia, the tint to his eyes fading. "Hm..." he listened to her. He was fine until a gun was pointed at him. He twirled his halberd and pointed the blade mere inches from the girl. "Buddy-buddy may not be what will happen, but you can't go idly threatening those around you." he spoke, a smile spreading on his face, revealing sharp teeth. "Partner's are supposed to get along, now. Find things we've got in common. Luckily for you, we already have one thing in common. We both want to get home. So let's give up on this fighting and get back to our task at hand. We're pretty close to our goal, I'd say." It was true. The statue was nearly destroyed by now and just needed a few more good shots and stabs before the stone crumbled away and left metal. Dastgir pulled his weapon away from Rydia and smirked a sharp-toothed grin towards her. "Also, it seems we have some special eyes, hm?" he chuckled. "Though mine come and go. Yours are due to Seiryu, right?" he spoke.
Ananta stayed quiet, wondering if Steel would ever respond to her. She waited and waited, taking a chance to try and calm herself down. Taking deep breaths, the green haired girl started to finally calm down and the feelings from before were starting to seem pretty silly. Sure she was a pest sometimes, but Ananta wasn't the worst person in the world. She is human and makes mistakes, just like everyone else. It took her a bit to come to this, but Ananta was finally able to calm herself down enough to help convince herself that she wasn't as bad as she was making herself out to be. Having somebody to listen to you also helped. Looking down at the flower once more, Ananta smiled to herself and sighed. "I...I think I've...realized what I did wrong. I didn't listen to her...nor did I respect her space." Ananta spoke, mostly for herself. She knew that now, maybe Kaida has calmed down a little and they could talk. They had a lot to talk about, anyway, so maybe Ananta could let Kaida know she was there for her now. Wiping her eyes, Ananta looked up and saw Kaida also had red eyes. As if she, too, had been crying. Perhaps a good cry was what she needed after everything. She didn't exactly cry after the recent events. Ananta stepped from behind Steel and stepped towards Kaida and Aux before she heard guitar music. She turned to look towards the source and she blinked. "Oh, it's the blue dog." she spoke, chuckling. "Doesn't look so scary to me..." Turning back towards the two, Ananta locked her eyes on Kaida, freezing in place. She was still scared to walk over to the girl, unsure if enough time had passed. She gulped and looked at them, walking a little closer before speaking up. "H....Hello..." Aux 14 Ananta 10 Steel 10 Stratos 11 Kaida 19
Ananta didn't even pay attention to anything Steel had just done or talked about. She was more preoccupied with the staring at the flower in her hand. She did notice he stopped her, to which she looked up at him, looking broken. She didn't question it, she just let Steel do his own thing. Her face turned back to staring at the flower. Her hands still shook slightly, noticeable if one were to stare long enough, and she wasn't sure if she was ever going to feel alright again. She moved her head to look at Steel and began to wonder. Why was he even her friend? She always pestered people and acted like she was their friend. She was just a coworker, so why did she ever deserve to be friends? Especially since she just messed everything up and made everyone feel so uncomfortable. She never had anything to add to conversations and she always spoke about things she didn't understand or know anything about, so the idea of her even having a single friend was laughable. Kaida was right in being angry and telling her off. Ananta didn't deserve to even pretend to be happy. Perhaps they'd all be better off she just stayed on this world and never left. Maybe she should have just stayed in the Realm of Darkness, at least there, she'd be able to live like a heartless. No feelings, no worries, no need for friends. And no need to assume she was anyone's friend. Heck, she should have just succumbed to the darkness that took her own world away. At least then, she'd have been able to have known she was disappearing with people who loved her and not going on a worthless journey. A journey that gained no friendshiped or garnered any attention from anyone. She was a failure of a keyblade wielder who didn't deserve to be a Master. She couldn't even save a single person on her world. Not even a person that was as important as the one whom she was to wed. All she had from him was a ring and a promise that was broken and unable to be kept. He motioned for her to follow, so she followed Steel, wanting to full and well ask him why he bothered to be her friend. Sure she kept his secret this entire time, but what did he benefit from being a friend to her. There was nothing she could give. She was just a nuisance who needed to be ignored and left alone. She couldn't even understand, at the time, why Karina was pushing her away. She was ignorant to her feelings and she certainly couldn't read the girl. Ananta was just bad at noticing social cues. She would never be able to make friends that way. Steel asked her questions, and so she really thought hard about what she should say. She dared not get yelled at again. "I...I just want to know...how Kaida is doing after everything...." she started off. "I've lost family and somebody important to me as well, I...I thought I'd be able to just talk to her about it, but she........" Ananta stopped and made a face of pain. "She yelled at me to stop pestering her. I messed up by even trying to help. I messed up putting my arm around her. I'm just a cowoker to her. I thought we were at least friendlier than that, but that's all we are. I'll never be able to be her friend. Just like with Karina. I'm a pest, I can't read them, so I'll never be able to or deserve to talk to them again...I just..." Ananta held the flower gingerly. "I just want Kaida to know I'm there for her." Ananta said this as they approached the rest of the group, loud enough that maybe Kaida heard her. Ananta noticed they were right by the rest and she immediately stopped and moved to hide back behind Steel. Maybe if she stayed hidden, Kaida wouldn't get angry. Yes please. The hype would be sooooo real. I support this so much, haha.
Daeni pouted at Cerdic. "At least I don't get bit by birds." she retorted. "You're just mean, Cerdic. Really, really mean. That's why the bird bit you, it knew how mean you were!" she said, smiling. "Alsoooo, I remember stories of siblings being best friends, so nyeh!" she moved a little away from Cerdic and heard Chrono. "Do you think you'll ever start using your name again? I kinda like Chrono better anyway. Fits you better, I think." she said, looking at Chrono.

Ananta stopped when Kaida stopped. She tilted her head, wondering what was up before she was suddenly yelled at. Kaida threw the flower Ananta got her towards the green haired girl. She caught the flower and looked down at it as Kaida demanded space with a threat. Ananta stared at the flower with wide eyes, not sure where this anger was coming from. She wanted to ask, but it was obvious that Kaida hated Ananta now, too. Her hands began to shake as she realized that maybe she messed up really bad. Kaida hated her enough to yell at her and so Ananta was stuck there. She didn't follow Kaida because of the threat but she also didn't know if going back to the others was what she should do. She was stuck, replaying over and over the words Kaida yelled to her. She started to wonder where she exactly went wrong. Did she mess up talking to her way back in Pridelands? Maybe it was before even that? Was she wrong in trusting Aux, even though he had sent everyone else to the Realm of Darkness. Ananta kept staring at the flower, trying to figure out what she was going to do. Tears welled up in her eyes before they fell and she, too, fell to her knees. "I..I'm terrible I just...I have no friends I....I don't even know...what...what happened...." she sniffled, closing her eyes. She kept repeating to herself, "It's all your fault." over and over. She heard Kaida speak to her again, sounding less angry, but that didn't help Ananta in the slightest. Her knees buckled as she stood up, causing her to stumble a bit. She started to walk back towards the boardwalk, walking past Kaida, Stratos, and Aux. She was sobbing silently, still lost in thought on what to do. She stopped talking to herself by now, but she was still having a hard time coming back down from this panic attack. She eventually made her way back towards Steel. She waded her way through the crowd, still holding the flower Kaida threw at her. With her free hand, she grabbed Steel's arm and started to lead him away. "F..found...i...it...." she muttered out, her voice shakey. Aux 7 Ananta 8 Steel 5 Stratos 10 Kaida 10
Wow he really was that dense. Ananta couldn't really believe it, but hey, she at least got him to calm down, right? Things turned out for the better as the lady mentioned an animal shelter of sorts. "I suppose that would be a good start." she commented. Stratos ended up calling to Steel and telling him about what they were doing and where they were going. Though it still amazed Ananta at how novice Aux was at this whole world exploration thing. He definitely needed more tact, that was for sure. That could be worked on, though, as they adventured more. "Somebody should really drag him along to do more things than....being there." she muttered to herself. Ananta then heard Kaida get a little too hostile towards Aux and that shocked even Ananta. "Woah there." she said, watching Kaida immediately start to walk off towards wherever the map said to go. Ananta followed and walked alongside Kaida. "So um...what happened back there? Are you okay?" she asked, wondering if this was even a good idea. She decided to not poke for any more, since she was afraid she pestered too much. Aux 5 Ananta 7 Steel 4 Stratos 8 Kaida 9
Aux's screams could be heard half a mile away. So of course the group's resident strong-armed man was causing a scene. Everyone turned away from the ice cream, but Ananta figured that maybe he needed to cool down. "I'll get a chocolate cone to go." she said, grabbing the ice cream as soon as it was ready. She made it over in time to see that Aux was....certainly not calm. He was pretty angry at a lady who couldn't hear his questions or words. Though Kaida wasn't helping either since she was starting to do the same. "Okay guys, we need to calm down and not yell at the lady. Here Aux, eat this." she said, shoving the cone into his hand. "And Aux, shirtless is a good look for you" she said, smiling to him to try and distract him for a moment. She looked to see Stratos was trying to talk to the lady as calmly as he could. Luckily she just had to adjust her hearing aid, so maybe now she could understand them. "You think my outfit is okay?" she asked, trying to use her body as a distraction as well. But it probably wouldn't work, Aux wasn't that dumb.....was he? Aux 4 Ananta 6 Steel 4 Stratos 7 Kaida 8
