Qamar nodded at Torrin. If it truly was a heartless, why would she be haunted by it if she were a princess of heart? Qamar tapped her chin and took one giant gulp of hot chocolate to finish it off. “Look, I'll keep an eye on her while you do your things.” she assured him. Once he walked off, she moved back towards Aria and sat her mug on the tray. She caught the end of the conversation and that made a light bulb go off in her head. Qamar got excited and jumped a tiny bit as she stepped next to the two. “So you were talking about things to help you sleep, right? You've got that covered, but have you tried to meditate to help clear your mind and maybe figure out the source of the problem?” she asked, clasping her hands together. “I do it every day and honestly, it helps with my own nightmares. I could help you with it if you don't know how.” Qamar then looked at Take and smiled. “Though I do want to know more about that stone, it looked pretty cool to me. Also..” she looked back at Aria. “Is there any more hot chocolate?”
Qamar gave up on talking to Tinarah just as quickly as she had approached the girl. Apparently it was still a lost cause, so Qamar headed towards the front door to find the others already departing for the kitchen. Qamar stopped next to Adalric and glanced at him. “He's very tired, isn't he?” she mused, looking off towards Torrin. “There's something else but I dunno what the heck it is…” she shrugged and patted Adalric on the shoulder. “I'm glad the trap didn't kill you.” she said, waving to him as she made her way to the others. Once she reached the kitchen, she stopped outside the door to sort of spy on the three as they talked. Aria started off by describing her nightmare in detail. That certainly explained a lot of things. Though not wanting to sleep was cause for alarm. At least Torrin confirmed that he didn't sleep. Qamar knew these two were odd but sleep deprivation was not fun. Aria continued to tell what the nightmare did and Qamar bit her lip at the thought of how bad Aria's situation was. The girl was plagued by an unknown beast that wanted to cause harm to her. Of all the people in the group, Torrin probably could help her the best. The creature sounded like a heartless and if anybody could deal with it, a Master from the realm of darkness would be their best bet. Suddenly, Aria appeared and handed her a cup of hot chocolate. Qamar took it and sipped it a little before making her way to the living room again. Qamar stopped near Torrin and looked at him. “I heard about Aria's problem.” she commented. “Sounds like a heartless or something worse to me. And since you're a master...I take it you've got some kind of idea on how to fix it?” she asked, speaking lower to keep others from hearing. “Sorry if I'm poking my nose into this stuff, but if you do plan something, I'll help you as best as I can. I'm good at keeping secrets, believe it or not.” she chuckled, remembering how she kind of spilled her story out to him earlier. She started to think about her childhood, but soon she stopped. For the longest, she hasn't been able to remember her childhood. All she can ever remember is her mother dying and the day she got her keyblade. That's it. “I'm sorry I intruded.” she said to Torrin. “I'll leave you alone if you want…?”
Qamar appreciated that Aria spoke a little with her, but she understood Aria did need room after being reminded of whatever happened. So Qamar stood and looked over the city and listened to Tinarahs violin playing. It was beautiful but Qamar sensed some sadness in the music. She turned and stepped to Tinarah and watched her closely, enjoying the music. She figured once she was done, she'd talk to the girl a little to try and make friends as best as she could. Once she had stopped, Qamar clapped and smiled. "Wonderful. But I could tell it was sad. I hope you feel better soon, Tinarah." Qamar said, offering kind words. "I know we didn't really start off well, but I do want to get to know you some da-" Qamar was interrupted by a loud crash of a door being smashed in. "Did Torrin come back?" She wondered aloud. She shook her head and cleared her throat. "Aria says she's gonna make hot chocolate soon. Want to get some with me once it's done? Maybe we can just talk about things in general?" She suggested.
"I hope so too..." Qamar said. She rested her arms behind her back and glanced to Aria. She didn't want to give Aria the wrong idea, so she sighed and scootrd closer to her. She cleared her throat and whispered to her. "That was you screaming, huh?" She asked, referencing her earlier remark of a scream. "I'm asking because for some reason your door was torn down this morning and for a some reason, he was in your room consoling you about something." Taking a moment, Qamar closed her eyes. "Look, I won't force you to talk about it, but do you want somebody sleeping in your room with you? Maybe to give you some peace of mind and protection from whatever nightmare that's haunting you? I'm not forcing you, I just want to offer it. I understand if I'm being far too forward." Qamar spoke only with concern in her voice. She too suffered from nightmares at times. Though she never told anybody about them before. "If it helps, I suffer from nightmares too...you're the first person I've ever told so keep it secret.." she asked
Watching Aria made Qamar feel bad that she was alone to clean up. So she decided to help and got the rest of the bits of glass that was scattered in plain sight. While the others talked about where to go, Qamar was more concerned with fixing the messes that were made. Even if she wasn't responsible, she was taught to clean after herself. "Aria, we should totally make hot chocolate. It was super good last time." She said this as she effortlessly pushed the last piece of furniture back. It helped to have worked out all these years that a task like this was easy enough.
Things only seemed to get worse for the group. Even more heartless appeared and Ananta could only do so much. Taking a moment to catch her breath, she thought of a strategy. She could simply fight as many of the vast amount of small ones and eventually be able to fight larger ones. That way, there wouldn't be so many chipping away at her when she attempted to attack the largest one. Besides, her allies were already dealing with the bigger one as she dodged around. She stopped and stood atop a tree, glancing down at everyone. First off, she decided, they all needed some healing. Luckily for her, she could totally run to everyone and heal them. Nodding to herself, Ananta brought her keyblades out. Whether this worked was all up to her ability to seal with the heartless in a timely manner. She jumped and landed, looking around and running first towards Steel. She watched him until he was done before she tossed a Curaga his way. “It's the least I could do.” she said, turning to see Luna close by. Wasting no time, she hopped by and used Curaga on Luna. Sending a smile Luna's way, she then ran off. Her eyes were now set on Ignis who seemed just a little off. She stopped long enough to Curaga her. “Chin up.” she said, giving a peace sign. Stratos happened to be nearby, so he was next on her list. She raised her keyblade and watched the magic envelope Stratos. “Enjoy!” she exclaimed, running off towards Kel. She stopped a moment to catch her breath. “Long time no see.” she said, smiling at Kel. She waved her hand at him as she cast the Curaga spell on him. “See ya later.” Ananta’s feet were sore from running, but she had to keep moving and healing everyone. She ran straight to her cloaked companion, Aislinn, and slid beside her as she landed from her latest fight. “Take this.” Ananta said, giving her a Curaga spell. Taking a breath, Ananta could only do one more spell before she needed to recover. Her magic was nearly depleted, but her determination was still strong. Skipping over to Aj, she pointed her keyblade at him before she fell to her knees. She knew doing this was dangerous, but it was absolutely necessary. It was the least she could do after they remembered her once she disappeared. Her greatest fear was being forgotten and her friends all remembered her. Even the ones who were at odds with her. Standing back up, she shook a little and took a deep breath. She already felt a little bit of her magic coming back. Not wanting to stray too far from Aj in case something happened, Ananta started swinging and striking down smaller heartless. As she did, she already had in mind who was next to get healing. Fighting the heartless was also rather therapeutic. It helped her think to herself about the situation they were all in. And it finally let her think of her job of being a Master of the keyblade. A smile crept on her face as she quickly dispatched of the last few heartless she needed to heal the last of her comrades. Ananta immediately fixed her eyes on Beuce. “Beuce! Take this healing!” she called out, pointing her keyblade at him with a Curaga spell heading his way. “We need to talk again sometime. Catch you later!” Hilary was next on her list and, luckily, he was just finished fighting some heartless. “Hello fearless leader. I've come to ou in your time of need to present you with healing.” she said, laughing at the way she was acting before she cast Curaga on him. She gripped her chest a moment before turning around to Kaida. She was finally the last one that needed healing. As she made her way to Kaida, her vision started to blur. She finally stopped right by Kaida and put her hand on her shoulder. “H...Here…” she went, the spell cast as she fell forward, passing out. Whether or not Steel had replied to her story, Ananta paid him no mind once things started to literally hit the fan. For the longest, Ananta wasn't sure what happened. All she knew was that they were suddenly on a sad looking island with many of it's original features seemingly broken off. Looking around, she could only imagine what it once looked like before all this had happened. Things started to hit the fan fast, however, and Ananta watched as hundreds of heartless filled the area up, leaving little room to breathe. Having newfound strength, Ananta smirked and pulled out two keyblades. "Look at them. Aren't they beautiful?" she asked noone in particular. She was glad she had become a master. She was finally able to do something cool with her powers. Her comrades had already started to dispatch the horde and so it was finally her turn to try and defeat a few heartless. Small shadows approached her, one by one. Gripping her keyblades tight, Ananta slashed at two of them, watching them disappear into dark dust. One tried to take the highroad, but was soon met by a blast of blizzard magic. it went sailing across the ocean of shadows and other heartless, it too disappearing once it hit the ground. Three more approached Ananta, swiping and jumping at her. She dodged the swipes and smacked two away. Her keyblades pierced one and made it disappear. Fire magic dispersed of the other two. All at once, 5 more shadow heartless approached her, glaring at her longingly. "Man, these things sure are gross." she commented to herself, stepping back with her keyblades help out front. All five heartless attacked at once, taking Ananta by surprise. She blocked the attacks as best as she could, but she couldn't really hurt any of them at this rate. Sneakily, she tossed a Thunder spell at one and watched it shake violently before disappearing. Sighing in relief, she turned back towards the last four. The next one got pummeled into dust by her keyblades, Stopping a moment to take a breath, she watched the last three eerily creep up on her and swipe her legs. She danced in place and dodged the swipes. Unfortunately, one did manage to get her and cause her ankle to sting. "Ouch! Son of a digit..." she cursed under her breath, dispatching of the offending heartless with a well placed fire spell. That left just two more heartless. Ananta swung her keyblades at both of them and watched the heartless jump out of the way. Her mouth agape, Ananta was struck in the arms by these heartless. She dropped her keyblades and rubbed her arms in pain. For a moment, she moved out of the way of the attacks to try and heal her arms up. "Stupid things just don't know when to quit!" she yelled, raising her arm and watching a Mine Square form. Only one of the heartless was caught in it, but she didn't care. At least she was finally one on one with this heartless. Summoning her keyblades back, Ananta held only her Sweet Memories in her right hand. Sure it wasn't her main hand, but Ananta was confident she'd defeat this heartless easily. With one slash, she watched it go poof. "Good riddance." she said, glancing up to see two balloon shaped heartless float around her. "Crap." she uttered, doing a split to dodge a combined effort attack launched by these two heartless. Both her keyblades stabbed into the balloons. This agitated them, but Ananta was ready and she immediately launched two well placed fire spells onto the heartless. Luckily, this was enough and she was able to lay back and take a breather. I haven't posted in the current brawl mission, so let me set a few things straight. Spending 2k munny to buy out the two requirements I need for Red Mage. Those are: -Own 7 Physical Commands -Have base Magic and Strength at 25 4255 - 2000 = 2255 munny Thus, she now has the Red Mage Job! And so Ananta is unequipping the following abilities: -Explosion -Blitz -Mp Haste -Combo plus 17/27 AP used She will then equip Red Mage. 27/27 AP used. And now that she has Red Mage equipped, I believe I need to change keyblades around. First, in regular Boss Battles, I will have the following equipped. -Main Hand: Spellbinder -Off Hand: Crystal's Blessing And for Brawl Missions. -Main Hand: Blessed Thief -Off Hand: Sweet Memories If you have any questions, plese ask me on discord @Krowley
Qamar takes Water and upgrades it to Watera (she'll never use it tho) She'll also take 3 AP upgrades to now have 52 AP
Qamar kept back and watched out for any Helping Hats. The hates eventually retaliated and she ended up taking damage while trying to dodge them. She tsk'd and looked down at her leg, a fresh gash across her stockings. The hats finally made her mad and she was ready to start attacking, but she knew staying back was just as good. Besides, she looked over in time to see Glyde get the crap beat out of him. She even saw how bad he was hurt and that made her wince. When she had a chance, she ran over to him and caught him as he finally got to the window. "Hey, no need to push yourself. Especially after you got the utter s**t beat out of you just now." she said this, holding him close and using some of her MP to cast a Cura spell on Glyde. "Don't die, okay...?" she said, concern in her voice. For some reason, she had a soft spot for ones who were hurting and she ddin't want to see any of her new comrades get hurt enough to be knocked out. "Maybe knocking you out would be a better idea anyway..." she muttered, shaking her head. "You okay?" she asked, looking down at Glyde in her arms. HP: 22/50 AP: 52/52 MP: 10/30
Daeni crossed her arms and watched them attempt to figure the password out. She wanted to help, but she decided against it and turned back to the beast that was taking form. "If you guys can't figure out this password, I'll keep the beast back. You guys just get Mora and LEAVE THIS PLACE." she said, holding her keyblade ready. "I don't care what any of you say, so don't try and stop me." She ignored any of them trying to stop her and she kept a close eye on the darkness. If it formed anything, she'd attempt to keep it from attacking the group as best as she can.
"Just let me hit you already!" She retorted, angry at herself. She wanted to run after him, but she soon saw Incredible start to throw small rocks at everyone. Tinarah had been hit a bit already and Qamar used this as a way to keep her from getting hit anymore. Gripping Tinarah close, Qamar turned and moved behind another chair and let go. "Not too hurt?" She asked, plucking a few stones from her body. Once she had done that, she then pulled her keyblade out. " I think we better take out mr. Incredible first. He seems to be the toughest one. You check on Glide I'll take a strike. Okay?"
Daeni reached one last time into the darkness. Her hand brushed something solid and she was instantly thrown back against the opposite wall. She felt her armor take the brunt of the attack, but her body was hurting from the impact. Looking up from where she laid, she stared at the cracked wall and listened to Cerdic. She closed her eyes and clenched her fists, thinking of what to say. When it finally came to her head, and the pain subsided, she got up slowly and made her way back to Cerdic. Blood trickled down her chin from her busted lip as she grit her teeth. Her hands loosened from the gripping and she looked Cerdic straight in the eyes. "Where the hell do you come off? Through this whole mess you've been acting so upset because you obviously weren't being as useful as the rest of us and now you're getting mad because I wanted to make you feel better?" She laughed at him and wiped her chin. "No, of course you're not OK. None of us are. You wouldn't know since you're too busy worrying about the pretty girls who all ended up dying or leaving anyway. That's all you've ever cared about anyway. Besides, who would want to flirt with you? You're pompous and disgusting." She stated this and held her hand up. "It makes me want to slap some sense into you, but we don't have the time to fight." "Maybe next time you'll be nicer to the one who's trying to make you feel better." She said this and slapped his arm, hard. She then walked over to the machine and looked at it. "Wasn't the username our names and the password a combination of some sort?" She asked.
Qamar felt her keyblade meet the masked man's blade, a loud clanging noise echoed throught the room. She watched his other blade and readied herself. She turned her body and spun around out of the way, jumping at the wall. Her keyblade struck into the wall and she stood atop it, crossing her arms. "Man, he's good." she said, smiling to herself. "I love it." The wall shook and her keyblade loosened as a chair was flung through the wall, leaving a hole behind. Taking this as her cue to stop, she jumped and landed behind the masked man as Tinarah ran over. Her keyblade reappeared in her hand. Catching a glimpse of Tinarah's face, Qamar stood ready and nodded at the girl. She took a step back and soon ran forward, holding her keyblade up and giving one good swing at the masked man's head.
CONFIRMED
Though Edna continued her moment of criticizing them all, Qamar yawned in boredom. Luckily, things turned exciting when glass shattered all around them. She raised an arm and looked up to find the masked man again along with a bespeckled woman. Tilting her head curious, Qamar looked at Aria when she cried out about the one in the mask. Shrugging, Qamar pulled her keyblade out and bounced in place. Suddenly, a table went whizzing by, just barely missing Qamar. "Holy shizzles. The tables sure have turned!" she gasped, checking over herself carefully. After insuring things were in place, she nodded and looked up at the two villians. "I'll take care of mask, boy." she said, rushing past Aria and Tinarah. She then started to slash and whack at the masked man, laying the smackdown and luckily she kept most of her strength from the earlier fights. "Don't think you can get away so easily this time!" she exclaimed.
Qamar nodded to Aria. Of course they can't force him, she knew that. However, sleep deprivation is no funhouse. Qamar remembered not sleeping for 3 days straight as an experiment. It didn't end well and she ended up being forced to sleep. After that, she was careful and made sure she went to sleep at night. Though her regime after that was a lot more different and she was now waking up early to get exercise and meditation. "You're right, we really can't...but we can at least make thing safe enough so he can?" she suggested, shrugging. Edna wandered around and took their measurements with her eyes, jotting and sketching down notes. Edna made little comments about each of them. Qamar rolled her eyes at the comment that was made on her. "My mother's hair was purple..." she mumbled, not caring what Edna thought. It didn't matter in the end, anyway.
