He shrugged. "Mortals are weird like that." She hugged him back.
He headed off to his room while Blossom planted her new seed away from all the other plants.
He started reading the research book about Jenova out loud from the beginning.
"Of course." He scooted over on the beanbag chair and patted next to him.
"Hm? What is it?"
He patted his head once before sitting back down and reading again.
He ruffled his hair. "Then stop worrying."
"Do you honestly doubt Dad could beat him up and take Mom back?"
"That mere king of demons thinks he can treat us like drones while Dad and Garnet are gods and some of us contain light that can eradicate him."
He burst out laughing.
He smirked. "Whether you like it or not, she needs us."
"Demon King, your wife needs you."
He shrugged.
He rubbed her back.
He turned her head to Malik.
He grabbed her hand that held the knife.
It landed next to Luana.
"I'm not sure how Orochi will react to that."
It switched course to Luana. She ignored him.
Bahamut picked up Malik in his talons and flew off to the volcano.
