Why even say anything in the first place then? If no one does anything, aside from yourself [[maybe]], this whole plan is pointless. It's not going to show us anything at all. It will just be The Fuk? being soft lynched and a handful of other people almost getting soft lynched.

Except there is no reason for anyone do to so when we already have a soft lynch on The Fuk?. We're giving the mafia an out this way. The ones that have already voted, won't need to change their votes, and the ones that haven't aren't in need of voting when there is already someone on death row. The only reason anyone would vote for Beau or Spike at this point is if they really felt one of them deserved to die more than TF? who hasn't really said much throughout the entire course of the first day. No one would want to risk putting themselves on the chopping block for the new day if they don't have to.

I don't think it would make much of a difference if The Fuk? came into the thread right now. He still has the soft lynch. His vote is on Mish and she doesn't have any other votes. His last post was like 3 pages ago and all he said was "jokes over, you guys can unvote me now." If he changes his vote to someone that already has three, rendering that person into a soft lynch, someone else can easily change their vote to him making it so that he has more votes -- if we wanted to get rid of him more than the person he voted for.

@Ars Nova, Marushi voted for Spike, but it's kinda hard to read since it was in the middle of a sentence.

You keep saying that as if I didn't understand to begin with. I did understand, that didn't make me anymore more or less for it. Mak, I think you need to start watching the way you're talking to people because it's just getting excessively rude at this point. Telling someone that their comprehensive skills are the issue or that they need to go back and reread your posts for the umpteenth time because maybe then they will understand what is really going on. It's insulting. I stayed away from the mafia thread all day because of this reason and coming back now, has just put me in an unpleasant mood and I don't even feel like playing at this point.

Honestly, at this point if I unvote Spike then I wouldn't vote for anyone else. Sorry Spike. I don't find any one person particularly suspicious. I think both Spike and The Fuk? have done much better jobs throughout the course of the day to say what they need to say and contribute to the group. I don't think anyone else really deserves a vote at this point.

As far as this plan to bring more people to 3 votes goes, I think it's a waste of time if we're just going to keep The Fuk? at a soft lynch anyway. I think the plan would be better if we didn't have anyone at a soft lynch. If several people were at three votes and there was no soft lynch, the defining moment would be when those one or two people switch at the last moment to bring someone to the point of a soft lynch. It would provide us with a lot more information than keeping The Fuk? at a soft lynch and just bringing everyone else up to three for S&G's. We would have possible mafia candidates or just idiots that are worth getting rid of.

@Ars Nova, @Midnight Star; for the Jailer role, does that have the limit where they can't protect the same person two nights in a row, or could they continuously protect the same person throughout the entirety of the game? It's pretty likely that mafia would go for Mak tonight, but with the Jailer, the odds of him being safe are probably pretty good. Just thought I would mention that for anyone who may not have remembered it.

It is day one as everyone has explicitly pointed out. You are the only one was can safely conclude to not be mafia. While there is a good chance that it is unlikely that Andy is mafia, we cannot safely conclude that fact until his role is revealed. Anything further is just an assumption.

It is helpful knowing that Makaze is not mafia, but I don't want that to be an excuse for everyone to just follow his lead. Having been a mafia member last game, I can safely say that that did no one any good. I agree with getting rid of people that do not contribute for the first day or two to develop some sort of serious game base and really start to see how everyone reacts. However, we have a significantly smaller cast this time around which means our days are drastically numbered. When it comes to relying on Makaze, he is always saying, "don't sheep, come up with your own plans, what are you thinking about?" but then typically disregards any information that anyone else provides or discredits other game plans because they are not his.

I'm not trying to offend Mak because doing so always ends badly, but I'm just saying that there has to be a better way to go about this. I haven't really been saying anything myself, because I have been using the time to try and come up with something. Also, you really can't get on someone's case for not asking questions because honestly the only question you can ask is "are you mafia?" and that isn't going to get an honest answer from anyone that is mafia.

You can ask everyone a thousand times who they find suspicious, but that will only do so much, especially on the first day. Everyone is flip-flopping between votes which is okay for the time being, but we also don't want that to cause a no lynch. // sighs // When I come up with a plan better than just voting off inactive people or railing the inactives that are attempting to defend themselves, I'll let you know. In the mean time, I just wanted wanted to get this out there because it was bothering me.

To clarify, Beau didn't get killed on day one last time. What happened was Makaze started grinding him to the extreme, blowing every thing he said out of proportion to the point that he dropped out of the game. Whether Andy is mafia or not, I don't want to see anyone else being pushed that far again.

I am all right with voting for the least active to see what we can dig up, but if that is going to be the case, then we need to be accurately choosing the least active person. Instead of everyone suddenly jumping on Andy, who has not had the fewest posts, they should be looking to see who the most inactive person has actually been; this being Spike.
