O.o is that "new" text actually part of the game graphic or was that photoshopped? Because if it's the former, that's hilarious.

This is why we used to have a "No thread about one person" rule.

Not saying I'd want it back, but this certainly helps prove a point about why it actually had some use.

Hardest, or they just have no idea what to do to unlock him. It could be something obscure (but easy), just no one would naturally think of doing it.

I mean, it could be simply getting a certain score on the Coin Launcher for all we know (and the score required might not be that hard to get). XD

    You get my point.

:3 First off, I love your drawings. The usual awesomeness of your work is always welcome here.

As for the ages thing; yeah, I'll review what was revealed up until this point.

Prior to this chapter, the only reference made about the ages of any of the three Chasers was during one of Ventus' flashbacks while he was in the Room of Awakening. Kairi mentions that "[Atticus isn't] old, he's only twenty-eight!"

Now during this chapter, in the flashback we learn that Ventus was 8 when Atticus was 17. Doing the math, that makes Atticus 9 years older than Ventus. You were also correct in your guess about Ariannas' age. I didn't mention it yet, but since you hit the nail on the head, I might as well say it: Ariannas is two years older than Ventus in my fic. That means in the flashback when Ventus and Ariannas first met, he was 8, she was 10, and again, Atticus was 17.

Fast forwarding this information to the other flashback when Atticus is declared as 28, we now know that:

(According to my fic), the ages of Atticus, Ariannas and Ventus during the events of Birth By Sleep are: 28, 21, and 19. This is important to know because these are the ages they were when they perished, meaning the Ventus we've been seeing up to this point is his 19 year old self. Therefore, to summarize some of the ages here:

    Atticus: 28
    Ariannas: 21
    Ventus: 19
    Sora: 17
    Kairi: 17
    Riku: 18
    Leon: 28
    Yuffie: 19
Cloud: 25 (Advent Children age +2)
Tifa: 24 (Advent Children age +2)

It's important to note that this doesn't mean that Kairi and Sora were born when Ventus was 2 years old, as this wouldn't make sense since we clearly see that Ventus and Ariannas were already 21 and 19 when Kairi was still a little girl. Essentially, two important things happened:

    a) After perishing at the hands of Nocenarus, Atticus, Ariannas and Ventus' time froze (after being brought back, they retained the same physical age as they were during the battle of Birth by Sleep)
    b) I've stated in a previous post, but traveling worlds doesn't necessarily mean time flow is universal in all of them. Traveling from the Land of the Dreamweavers to Hollow Bastion can be seen as traveling many years into the future.

This is why it was possible for Sora and Ventus to both exist at the same time (since Sora is the same age as Kairi, and grew up around the same time flow) even though Sora is supposed to be Ventus' reincarnation.

XD Anyway, it does seem a little shocking that Atticus was 'twice' the age of Ariannas and Ventus during this chapter, but I had their ages during Birth By Sleep already in mind, so I had to alter it accordingly so it would stay uniform for future reference. Perhaps it's simply one's own opinion on age, but Atticus seemed significantly older than Ariannas in my opinion, and I guess I based a lot of that on the maturity I seemed to gather from his facial expressions and the structure of his body and what not. As well, as people progress well into the late teens and into the 20s, the age differences tend to 'blend' in such a way that it's hard to tell people's ages in terms of its magnitude. Consequently, while it seemed like a huge gap back when Atticus was 17 and Ventus 8--and certainly it's easy to see the difference in their physique since 8 is basically a child and Atticus was already looking like a young man--as Ventus aged toward 19 (after hitting puberty and what not lol), that aesthetic age gap closes quite a bit between him and Atticus--who in comparison probably didn't physically age as much as Ventus did. Again, it's all an interpretation anyway, but I hope settling into my age range won't be that hard to get used to.

Thanks again for the support, everyone. :3

I feel a little better about our delay considering the supply shortages that are plaguing Japanese distributors right now. A lot of people (locals and importers included) won't be getting their Brawl copies until earliest mid-February (although suspicions claim that the shortage is arbitrary with a large restock arriving by the weekend).

In essence, that really just means we've seen a 2 week delay from a large percentage of Japan. However, I only hope that by the time the NA release date comes, the supply shortages will have been resolved and there will be enough copies for a large portion the NA market at launch. I know a lot of people have begun to attribute the one month delay to this disc shortage.

I wouldn't say *just* as easy. The only difference is that Terra's moves are randomized with several landmarks throughout the battle. While each of these 'moves' do have a routine--which is what we adapt to and predict--there is no specific order in which Terra does them. Easiest way to justify this is simply the beginning. Terra can begin the battle in several different ways.

The challenge with Terra is to quickly realize which of his moves he's using, and counterattack appropriately. While this is the same story with Sephiroth, Sephiroth has a fixed routine that hardly varies in comparison to Terra's.

Any boss is easy when you finally get the hang of it, but if you were to infer the superiority of a boss upon one's first encounter, Terra champions Sephiroth by a landslide.

Well, first off the criteria to 'get into heaven' is relative.

I'm agnostic, but if I were to hypothetically believe for certain Heaven existed, in my book, if you do good things but don't really mean it, you're not getting into heaven either.

Between an atheist man who genuinely lives his life helping others and a Christian believer who mindlessly attends mass every Sunday but doesn't really listen nor does he/she give back to the community, if Heaven exists, my bets go to the atheist.

Here's some food for thought, since I think all of you seemed to have overlooked this.

It was emphasized many times that Sora was a target of memory manipulation because he was 'connected' to everyone (everyone who was important or had significance to the storyline). Sora's altered memories also affected the people around him. By the end of CoM and before the start of KH2, he was in the process of 'regaining' these memories, correct? His loss of memories is the very reason why Kairi blatantly *forgot* who he was when we view her early cutscenes during Roxas' Story in KH2. In fact, Yuffie and Leon also mention upon Sora's arrival at Hollow Bastion that "they suddenly all remembered him all at the same time". This 'forgetting' and 'remembering' is also obviously due to Sora losing and regaining his memories. They were affected by this too, and they're no where near as close to Sora as Riku or Kairi are.

So I tell you: Riku is connected to Sora's life just as much as Kairi is, so with Kairi losing her memories (not to mention Leon and Yuffie as well) due to Sora's altered ones, why is it that Riku's remained intact and untouched?

To be honest, I smell a plot hole. And despite some of you thinking you might actually have a compelling argument to justify this, excuse me while I remain skeptical about the possibility of being swayed.

35 is a comfortable number. I expected over 30, but 40 would've been pushing it a bit in my opinion. So naturally I'm fairly content with the number it's come to.

And yeah, I guess there was no 3rd third-party character to be added to the roster--unless Sakurai is still hiding a secret that no one's discovered yet. Like...

If I recall correctly, in one of the interviews, it was noted that Ganondorf would (this was in hypotheticals) be getting a complete makeover in both appearance and moveset.

That being said, even though Ganondorf and Falco (along with any other Melee-clone characters) are returning in Brawl, there's a high chance that they've been completely redone, and possess unique movesets from the rest of the roster.

Too many series to list, so I'll just list what I'm currently watching (even though there was a thread I posted about that already):

    Bleach
    Naruto
    Gundam 00
    Shakugan no Shana II
    Persona - trinity soul
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (OVA season currently, hopefully Season 3 will aire this March/April)
Kyou Kara Maou (totally winging this anime on a whim, who knows if I'll continue watching it).

I've always liked Halloween Town, even in the other games.

I guess because it's one of the most visually displaced worlds out of all of the KH ones, with both its quirky eeriness and vivid atmosphere, it really promotes that feeling of really being spirited away to another world, more so than any of the others for me.
