That's exactly what I'm saying you can't do. Only Pokemon who were bred/caught in XY can be sent to ORAS.
Only pokemon bred/caught in XY can be brought into ORAS through bank. So basically, if it was brought into XY through Transporter it can't be brought into ORAS. This is what I've heard from credible sources. I haven't bothered looking for a source itself, but it was apparently said in the information Nintendo gave about not releasing a patch.
Yeah, I get it, but breeding and filling the dex is enough for me. Shiny adds another component that I just don't care for that much. But hats off to people who shiny hunt. That seems crazy tedious and something I wouldn't want to try. well good luck with that
ive never encountered a shiny i have a shiny spiritomb though. and i had a shiny gourgeist. i can't find it. i don't know what happened to it. shiny pokemon never appealed to me that much. i don't think they look as good most of the time.

I just heard a theory that the reason they're not making XY and ORAS battle compatible is to put a hold on all of the genned Pokemon in XY and prevent them from coming into ORAS (since they would be brought over from a previous generation, and Pokemon transferred from previous gens can't be transferred to ORAS). I don't know if this is a common theory, but this is the first time I've heard it. Thinking about it this way, I'm much more okay with the decision. Still kinda sucks, but it's comforting to know that it does have benefits and they're making efforts to make it harder for genned Pokemon to find their way into games, and in a sense, this could be interpreted as their stance on genned Pokemon, saying that it does violate the spirit of the games in some way.

i'm going to go to gamestop tomorrow and crossing my fingers that they still have a shiny gengar code (if not, it's no big deal. i kinda dont care and only want it so I can say I have it) and since I know they're going to ask if I want to preorder oras I'm debating about just giving in and doing it. I didn't want to pre order, but I mean.. there's no harm in doing it and I'd rather be able to not worry about being able to find one 11/21.

This past episode was okay enough that I'll stick with it at least till next week. The show doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. It can't decide if it's a Batman origin story of sorts, or if it's crime show taking place in Gotham. I think it wants to be both, but it doesn't have enough of either for it to be one or the other, and the way they're blending together is making me not care about any of the characters. I still think Penguin is the best character in the show. Penguin. What does it say about your show when Penguin is a better character than Gordon? And I was expecting to come around on the acting by now, but it's still horrible to me, especially Fish. Every second she's on screen is awful. I do like where that character seems to be going, but the actor is making it very unenjoyable. And at this rate it seems like Bruce should be Batman by the times he's 14 or something. He's in the show way too much in my opinion. Maybe I think that because I still want the show that it was said to be when they announced it and not the Batman origin that it became, but he serves no purpose and is only there so we don't forget that this is now a Batman show. You're right, it's just not good.
and you don't know what you're going to get or if it's something you care about it's $15, right? why would I pay $15 for a bunch of little things that I might not even like when I could buy up to like 7 comics, a tpb, a blu ray, a cheaper game, a cd, or something else that I actually want or matters to me. that's just my logic. You don't have to agree and I'm not saying that people who buy it are making a bad decision, but for my money, it's not something I would ever buy.

I got a new car. Or rather, I inherited it in a sense. I was somewhat torn about being handed a car that I didn't pay for, but my car is far from reliable and this is a nice car so it was the smart thing to do. I guess. Happy and grateful to have it, but not so much about being given something that I didn't earn or buy.
