my right leg is almost always shaking when i sit down. i suck at sitting in chairs, which makes playing video games rather uncomfortable.

i know i've said this before, but that's the one that I like the least.
and that's not coming from a place of "well the prequels are garbage anyway" because I still like them. Being my age and growing up with them I think it's hard not to, but 2 was always the one that I didn't care for watching. It has it's fun moments, certainly, but the bulk of it feels very dull. everything before they're captured in the geonosian arena is pretty boring to me.

oh my god, those 7 notes. that's got to be the most adult thing in any pokemon game ever. i couldn't believe that i was actually reading notes this neglected kid (i couldn't tell if it was Cozmo or Cozmo's kid) sent to his father who never comes home and whose parents separated in a children's video game. lol. crazy.

This game has some uncharacteristically mature overtones of family for a Pokemon game. t's no coincidence that what I mentioned above is in the same game, the only Pokemon game, where you have a father and know him. And then there's that little bit after the credits where you see how your family is a healthy, functioning one. All of this in the same game where your rival is the professors daughter (or son) and we see how their relationship is differs from the others in the game. I want to see if there's more stuff dealing with family in the game, because it's all very interesting and more nuanced than anything I've ever seen in a Pokemon game.

Yeah, I've seen her do good stuff but in Star Wars she's awful, so I'm inclined to believe that they were directed that way.
Episode 3 is literally better in every way than the previous 2.

It had an okay premise but poor execution, and particularly poor acting. I don't know if he was directed to give one of the most stale performances I've ever seen, but because he did it seems much worse than it probably was written to be. Him desperately searching for a way for to save her from dying, and then being part of the reason she did is a good idea. Not handled well at all.
I could never reconcile him seemingly aging 10 years in the time she aged like 1 between episodes 1 and 2. I don't know if either of the actors are supposed to be playing an older of younger Anakin, but it absolutely does not work.

I haven't finished the game yet, so this could change, but one of the things I don't like about the game is how it handled mega evolution. I don't think having to wait to mega evolve is a problem, since it was the same way in xy, but the game is really playing for the people who already know about mega evolution from xy, and does not give an organic explanation in the context of ORAS. It could come later and I'm sure Steven will explain a lot of stuff, but early in the game it talks about mega evolution like everyone already knows what that is, and for a remake of a region that didn't previously have megas, I think that's a mistake.
