I went ahead and started 4. My immediate reaction is less positive than 3, which grabbed me from the start and I grew to like more as I played. I'm only about 5 hours in, though. I don't like the menus in 4. whats up girl so all of my lights blew out at the same time ****in great
I now find myself wondering how may bets have been lost since 2006 in the name of KH.
Spoiler: my reaction to finishing p3 you know if you're going to half-ass the animation don't bother or I guess I should specify, 'The Journey' since this is Fes. I was going to start The Answer but I heard it's not good and is not worth the play. Is this true?
when kh3 comes out this place is gonna blow. the. heck. up. hopefully.
lol i had a post typed out but then I thought "wait a second they're ****ing astronauts"
song makes me shiver
Donald's fault
There's no denying that it's a very fun series of games, but everything else is so absurd that it would be hard for me to get invested and stay invested.
they fly a spaceship
I mean Sora lifts his whole arm up and points down on the keys. It's like a person who has never used a computer before, but comically so.
i like how they type like ****ing morons
Note taken. That is a lot, but at least the collections make them easily accessible.
but kh makes it so easy
I often question if I would still like many of the things I like now had I discovered them recently, rather than years ago before I knew to apply critical thinking (or thinking at all, in this case) to entertainment. Kingdom Hearts definitely falls into the 'No' category. Nostalgia can be a powerful thing.
I'm not including comicbook and anime movies on this list because in my head they're both totally separate entities with different lists of favorites. 1. Metropolis 2. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes 3. American Psycho 4. Star Wars IV 5. The Incredibles I wanted to put Monsters U and Chinatown on this list but just couldn't.
No, I need more time to save up for a ps4.
yes tars is coming
it was a joke rec. I think you've said that you haven't seen the Akito OVA's. You should check those out as well. They're not quite as good as the original but they're not bad. They have some beautiful mech action in them. code geass used to be my favorite anime until I saw Garden of Words and Tari Tari. I feel bad not having it at #1 but I can't not have Garden and Tari above it in good conscience.
i wont get into this but this + eating noises drives me actually crazy
all Gundam. The only other mechanime I've seen I know you've seen. Awakening of the Trailblazer - The shitty "we must learn to understand each other and stop fighting" Japanese anime movie to end all shitty "we must learn to understand each other and stop fighting" Japanese anime movies. It's probably my favorite Gundam thing since it doesn't rely on formula and does the typical, general Gundam themes better than they've ever been done because of it. The last 2 seconds after the credits cheapen the whole thing, though. You don't need to watch the first two seasons of the show. It may watch better that way, in fact. Also, it's the most traditional sci-fi Gundam's ever been. Maybe that's why I like it so much. 0080 - Relatively short OVA that does the "implications of war" theme on a more personal and intimate level than has been done anywhere else in Gundam. One of the best. MS Igloo - there's like 3 MS Igloo series but they're all basically the same thing. They're all 3 episode OVAs that give insight into grunt life during the One Year War. Basically the idea is that you follow this transport ship and it's crew as they test out various weapons before they hit mass production. It's not heavy on themes and ideas but if you're into dirty, shooting from the trenches war movies and that kind of thing you'll like this. It has some cringe-worthy cg but it's not unwatchable. It's one of the most unique things Gundam has to offer. Give it a look. Gundam X - the only full length Gundam show I'll recommend but it's the shortest of them all. 37 episodes. It's not particularly stellar but it's overwhelming with 90's animation charm and has the most likable protag in Gundam ever. It's been a long time since I've seen this so I don't remember a whole hell of a lot about it, but I do remember being left with a good impression. I think it's my favorite actual Gundam show if I remember correctly. Metropolis (anime) - It's not mech but it's got robots and junk. One of my personal favorites. code geass
