Chapter Ten: Gone with the darkness Nathalia tossed and turned in her bed, sleeping peacefully. She wasn't dreaming, she was sure of it. It wasn't long until Tori came in, waking her. "Nathalia, you awake?" He asked, sitting beside her. Pretending, she snored quietly, just like she did when she Was asleep. "I'm sorry for what I did. I didn't think it was gonna do that. I mean it. Someone must've tampered with it before we watched it." Nathalia felt a small tap on her arm, then a door open. "Hey, Tori, sora wants you." Mia laughed, swinging the door back and forth. "Okay. I'll be out in a sec." He brushed her bangs off her head and kissed it lightly, getting off her bed. Nathalia opened her eyes and smiled, no tears flowing. If Tori was apologizing, maybe the world did have hope. ******** Adrianna stepped through her dark purple portal, smiling an evil smile. She was on board the Gummi ship, and no one knew! Oh, how perfect this day was already. Quietly, she snuck to a blue door, knowing that it was the room to Nathalia. Stepping in, she saw that Nathalia was probably asleep, not moving at all. "This is just too easy." She sighed, smiling a Chesire Cat smile. As quick as a cat, Adrianna put her hand around Nathalia's mouth, dragging her out of the bed. "Umph!" She cried, kicking and slashing at her. "Wemme mo!" She bit down on Adrianna's hand, making her yank her hand back. "Agh! You little-!" She lept at her, her hands around her throat as Nathalia crashed into the door. Nathalia struggled against her grip, starting to choke from no air. "Sor-Sora!" She wheezed, her eyes closing slowly. "So....ra..." Her eyes closed fully, her head slumping back a little. "Perfect!" Adrianna hefted her over her shoulder and vanished, leaving purple whisps of smoke on the floor. ********* Kairi squinted as the sun started to set. "Riku, are you sure this is gonna work?" She asked, turning to the silver haired teen. "Pretty sure." Was all he said as he looked at her, his pale blue eyes full of uncertainy. "Don't lie to me. I can see it in your eyes." She laughed, her hair wafting in the wind. "Now, all we need is the king. And then, we can go see him." She looked back at the sun, smiling. "I'm sure of it." ********* Adrianna dropped Nathalia to the ground, who squirmed in her ropes. "Let. Me. Go." She said, her voice steely calm. "Don't think so." Adrianna turned back into her true self, red eyes and silver hair in all. "Come on, like I would want to give up the most powerful thing in this universe? Certainly not." She walked to the center of the large room and clapped her hands, making the black lights come on. "Welcome to your prison. I'm the ward, and if you do what I say," She paused, turning to the large, stained glass windows that went from the floor to the wall. "You'll get out alive." Nathalia didn't say a thing. "I don't trust you, whoever you are. And I never will." She squirmed again, her hair falling in her face. "Just let me go, and you'll be lucky enough to get a concussion when I'm through with you." Adrianna crackled, lightning flashing wickedly. "So cute! You think you can threaten me. Ahh, this will be very fun. Very fun indeed." Turning, the witch grabbed a goblet of pure darkness and walked toward Nathalia. "Drink this. Or your friends and family will perish." She thrust it toward the keyblade weilders mouth, who turned her head quickly. "No!" "Yes!" Adrianna grabbed her chin and put it to her lips. "Now, rise, my darkness. Take over her body, her mind, her heart! And make sure she does not take you back over!" She laughed, thunder and lightning filling the room. Nathalia struggled, trying to spit it out. But she couldn't, it had slithered down her throat and went to her heart. "Mmmph!" "Come now, Nathalia. It's a simple process. You turn into a Princess of Darkness, take Sora's heart, and make sure you eat it. Then, you'll be free to go." Nathalia's eyes turned violet, her hair turning black along with her clothes. Her skin became deathly pale, while her lips turned black. She nodded, her eyes turning lifeless and dull. "I-I obey....Lady Adrianna....with a-all what's left of my heart." "Yes! Yes! Rise my Princess! Rule and take over the world! And what's left of the people's hope!" ******* "Nathalia?" Sora peeked in her room, seeing no one. "Nathalia? Where are you?" He moved on her closet, knowing she had to be in there, probably trying on clothes. "Nathalia?" No Nathalia anywhere. Weird, she was just here..... Sora walked out to the control room, where Goofy looked under a pillow. "Where is she?" "Well, Gwarsh, I dunno, Sora! But, I'm sure we'll find her!" He looked up, the pillow on his nose. "I have a question though, do ya know where the pillow is? I've been looking for it all day!" Sora put his palm to his face in disbelief. "Haven't seen it." He mumbled, walking out of the room just before he heard an evil laugh. "Who's there?!" He yelled, looking above as he summoned his keyblade. "It's an old friend!" A new voice called, appearing before him. The woman with silver hair and red eyes. "You!" "And me!" As Sora whirled around, he saw Nathalia in all black, her clothes swirling with darkness. "Good-BYE!" She screeched, sending him to the ground. "Don't move, Sora!" She lunged at him, her black nails digging into his arms. "Nathalia, it's me! Wake up!" He called, calm as ever. She still held him down, but her grip wavered a bit. "Wake up. You can do it." Adrianna snarled as she came over to tie him up. "Shut up! You think your petty talk will snap her out of this? This," She pointed to Nat's dark version. "Was her choice. Not yours. So, I think we must take his heart eariler than we thought, right?" Nathalia was still looking at Sora, her eyes now blue instead of the violet they were before. That meant.....he was getting through to her! "Yes....Y-yes we must, my Queen." She struggled to say. Gulping, the dark Nathalia put her hand to his throat and closed it tightly. "Here's to a good rule." She snickered, her eyes still blue. Sora's vision danced as he called to her. "Nathalia, w-why?" It wasn't too long until the keyblade Weilder's eyes closed fully, his face relaxed. "To a good rule." Adrianna laughed, Nathallia joined in, their laughter echoing off the entire ship.
"Do you want to see me battle?!" Alice yelled, shrinking down to her human form. "I can take you on with my hands tied behind my back, eyes blind-folded and legs cut off!" She couldn't stop, she was on a roll now. "So shut up, Seaweed Head!" OOC: Alice says that a lot in Pandora Hearts, just thought she wouldn't be complete without that either. EDIT: Alice stopped yelling when Kamina commented on her chains. "Well, of course they are! I'm not the Blood Stained Black Rabbit for nothing!" She flipped her hair a bit, smiling.
"Don't laugh!" Alice shot chains from behind her back, wrapping a large area around the cave. "I have defeated Death Gods!"
"Alright, let's do this." Alice told herself as she put her sythe in the ground in front of her. A purple wind whipped around her, sending her hair upward. "Hah!" When the wind died down, she was on her floating sythe, but in a different form. Now, she was a giant....rabbit.
"If you say so." Alice got up and walked outside the cave. "First things first," She pulled out her sythe, twirling it around her arm. "Okay, i'm not really sure if I can transform without him right now, but i want to show you guys my Released form. Okay?"
Oh, Okay. Don't worry, I'm waiting for you to post so he can wake up.
"I can't sleep. All you guys are acting like I'm a normal girl, but, I'm not." She whispered to Simon, sitting up and biting her lip. "I can transform into one of the most powerful beings in the Abyss!"
Alice, fully awake, rolled so she was facing the wall. Putting a hand to it, she sighed. All these guys around were making it seem like she was just a normal girl, not being able to protect herself. But, she'd show them. She'd show them her Released form, the Blood Stained Black Rabbit, a form that could only be activated with.....Oz. "Anybody else awake?" She spoke softly, her first time speaking in this group.
Well, okay, that's fine. But, Oz isn't going down without a fight!
Amber smiled as the wind pulsed through her hair. "This is atcually fun!"
Really? It don't look hard.
Oz opened his eyes. He was in a large, white room, a young girl with white hair on the other side. "Will of the aybss!" He shouted, finding a discarded sword. "Why'd you send me here?" "It wasn't I that sent you here. It was a stronger force. Now, be a dear and wake up. She's waiting for you."

Alice sighed at the commotion going on around her. All she wanted was to know where the heck she was, why'd she get here, and how?! ' I mean you can't just disapear from the abyss for nothing!' She hissed to herself, crossing her arms. It was a bit cold inside the cave, but she was fine. She could've said something, but kept quiet, unlike her regular self. Oz had been wandering forever, stumbling around, hungry and tired. Finally, he saw a small orange light not to far away from him. "Alice?" He muttered weakly, seeing dark spots in his vision. "Hello? I need.....help...." He got closer, seeing two large figures inn the distance. "Help...." And his world went black.
Oz nodded, his blonde hair getting in his eyes a bit as he walked away, seeing a giant rock in his path. "......I wish I knew where I was. This stinks." He sat on top of the rock and waited there, swinging his legs. It was going to be a long night.
"I was looking for Alice, my friend. Have you seen her? She's got really long black hairs with two plaits in it." Oz looked more serious than he did on most days, making this a very bad situation for him.
"Okay, but, is the dress black or in a dark color? Because I cannot go out in a pink dress." Alice had a very serious look on her face despite the subject. "Yes! That's why i said it was perfect for you. I went to a Victorian party last year and bought that dress." Nathalia ushered the two out of the kitchen and onto the street. "Come on, let's go."
