BrBe never changes. There are positives to that, but that also means they never progress. Maybe they feel that now is a time to play it safe, I don't know, but at least new music is a reality. So while I would like to see them experiment more, at least I can take solace in knowing that I can rely on them to consistently put out stuff that appeals to the younger me. The new album cover is indicative of the format of their older ones (I always loved the consistency of the name and title placement on their releases. It doesn't mean anything, it's just a cool gimmick.), but considering the near-complete overhaul of the lineup and coming off a hiatus that lasted the better part of a decade, I wonder if now wasn't the time to change things a little. This doesn't really satisfy my musical tastes now, but it's nice to know that a band that used to be a favorite is alive and kicking again.

5d's was just kind of perfect and I can't figure out why. Even in the dull moments I was thoroughly entertained (though I'm saying this having finished it after not watching it for four years). It had that ygo camp to make it fun, but it took itself seriously enough that it came off as pure awesome.
i dont want to make a hwl thread about this but introspection really kinda sucks im trying to address the unhealthy amounts of procrastination i do and in the process accept that it's related to fear. fear of failing or general inadequacy. fear of the future and the uncertainty of everything given my current place in life. i dont know when these things became so prominent, but they're absolutely crippling at times. i haven't touched one of my transfer applications in a couple weeks for the obvious reason given what i've just said. i'm trying to draw a line between self-pity and acceptance in this post and it has been somewhat cathartic to openly admit these things totally unrelated i finally finished ygo 5d's. so cool.

you just know this is going to suck it's going to wreak of modern gaming headaches and not have any of the charm that gave Battlefront it's identity and made it entertaining. I hate to be so negative, but unless I'm mistaken, we already know it's going to be a fps with a Star Wars skin. Part of what made Battlefront so entertaining was that it was primarily third person. It didn't feel like I was playing a shooting game. I was playing a Star Wars game that had shooting in it.

she made the show worthwhile for me towards the end i'm always on the fence about whether or not I like ttgl and klk, but satsuki is wonderful.
