well thats kind of my point. if you're just getting interested in the series, i think the manga is the obvious one to go with. i didnt say there was no value or zero entertainment to be had in it -- i did both -- but the manga is inarguably the better one in this case, so by comparison i dont think the anime has much to offer. The anime stopped before the best parts in the series. everything after the anime is the good stuff basically.
to people interested in soul eater literally just read the manga. by comparison the anime is not worth the time it takes to pirate @ wow youve watched a lot of anime ive seen more anime than im proud to admit but so much of that is gundam which my mind does not register as anime that i dont lose any sleep over this quiet, nagging shame
I vaguely remember someone saying they would like to start reading but were too intimidated. Considering how many MCU fans are here I imagine there are at least a few more like them. And even if they aren't interested now, maybe a thread guiding them would spark a new interest in people. i'm getting to that point of being tired where sentences don't make sense to me and I suspect the things I'm writing are barely comprehensible and that's bad because I need to finish Final Crisis tonight. not something you read half-lucid
i see.
it's either Exia from 00 or Amazing Exia from that piece of garbage Build Fighters It's hard to tell because I don't immediately recognize any differences to the suit that would indicate it's the Amazing aside from the blue v-fin which Exia does not have. It's possible that it's just fanart. But yeah, this is Exia. edit: yeah it's Amazing. Amazing has that pointy bit sticking down from the neck over the chest and Exia doesn't i'm curious why you ask
Superman Beyond 3D Grant Morrison at his brain-melting shenanigans again
just watch tari tari
i could maybe do without the pony but other than that it's just perfect.
just search Below61 on the khv wiki
I want to know who wrote mine so I can thank them for so perfectly and poetically capturing the essence of everything that is 61.
don't read RIP without first reading & Son, The Black Glove, and The Resurrection of Ra's in that order. And while it's not at all related to the continuity, you would do good to read Gothic before any of that, as it's also by Morrison and serves as an appetizer to his monstrous run. (There's more you could read to prepare but these are the essentials. RIP is part of a larger whole.) Reading Year 3 before A Lonely Place would be smart as well. They're both by Wolfman and A Lonely Place, the story that introduces Tim Drake, can function as an interesting sequel.[DOUBLEPOST=1437876542][/DOUBLEPOST]would a "how to get into comics" thread be something that would interest anyone here? i suspect there may be people here who would like to get into the thick of mainstream comic continuity outside of graphic novels and such and a little guide/tip might help them. i also feel like writing something. i may not do it anyway but just curious. this feels very familiar i may have already done this before or maybe someone else did
so RIP is my favorite Batman story now. It just walked in, shoved A Lonely Place of Dying off it's throne, and took it's spot.
why can't I like poll titles
people didnt know about this?
I'm eclectic not obscure jeez edit: Okay im actually going to say officially that the title of this should be strange, not obscure. obscure is a very specific word that points to a very specfic quality. strange is broad enough to include obscure and eclectic. neither amaury nor myself have obscure tastes. strange? sure. just a light criticism.
On Writing by Stephen King it changed my whole world. I wish I could be given the chance to tell him how influential it was on me and thank him, though I'm sure there are countless thousands who think the same. Batman: Year 2, Year 3, Gothic, Arkham Asylum, Batman and Son (reading through Morrison's run) i guess it's something of a tradition to read Batman during the summer when I'm away from home. I don't seem to read these stories when I am at home.
since june i've bought 3 aar albums, and like 9 green day albums. i like buying cd's but it's frustrating because the price adds up quickly and when I buy an album I feel compelled to buy the artists entire discog so it cuts a lot out of my comic budget. i also bought a green day mug and have this shrine built on my shelf that i made. i'm not at home but i'll post pictures when i am. i also have a vinyl decal on my car that i posted in the lounge. it's pretty sweet. putting those things on is really frustrating and i didn't do the best job with placement but whatever it's fine.
that was a duck
feels good to dust off the cobwebs of the old ebay account and get things up and running and buying the entire 100-issue 2003 Teen Titans series plus annual plus one shot plus Graduation Day (how hecking thoughtful of the seller to include this) for only $100 feels pretty ****ing sweet in itself.
dead air Good to see you
