'You're normal, you're normal, you're normal.' This is what Layla Castor says to herself every single day, knowing that she, in fact, is not normal at all. She can Alter Reality to what she wanted it to be. A gift like that, her mother had told her, needed to be protected with all her heart. She was protecting it, but many had almost figured out her secret. Each time, it got worse. Fifth grade. A ten year old Layla had seen a girl bring a puppy to school. Layla saw that the Puppy didn't like her much, and she knew that the girl didn't want to give it up. With a simple little scrunch of her nose, the Puppy had been whisked out of her arms and in Layla's. The girl couldn't remember anything, and the Teacher screamed at the sight of a dog in her student's arm. After that, the Puppy was taken by Layla's mother and the girl thought she would never see it again. When she got home, her eyes full of tears and snot running down her face, the Puppy greeted her at home. "This is the only time you'll ever get what you alter, got it?" Her mother sighed, reading the Newspaper on the couch. Layla in the real time sighed. There were many more, but she couldn't think of anything else. As she headed to her Science class, she shrugged. The less she altered reality, the less people would know about it, right? So all she had to do was stop, right then and there. "That's a good Resolution for the middle of the school year." She told herself. "What could go wrong?"

Storm yawned a bit, walking out of the Hall. "Allora? You awake still?" The Fairy was silent for a bit before she answered. "Yeah. Hey, now that I'm your helper will you give me my own room at your house? I mean, I just can't sleep in the same bed as you, that would be wrong." "Sure, just make sure to clean it okay? I don't wanna have to come in that room and see mice crawling over the floor." The girl joked as they passed various Clans. "So, that's the Fighting Clan, right over there." she pointed to a large group of Dojos clustered together with a nice, sprawling field in the back of it. "That's where you'll have to make sure I'm at tomorrow." "Me! Why me?!" Allora sighed, laying on her shoulder. "Nevermind, I'll make sure." A couple of mintues later, Storm grabbed some keys out of her pocket and opened the door to her apartment. "Here we are! Home sweet home." She picked the Pixie up off her shoulder and set her in the Room she used to sleep in. "Do whatever you want in here, just keep all the stuff somewhere. Night Allora!" She chirped, walking to the dark Master Bedroom and falling on the bed. "Oh, just a little rest and then....I'll change..." In a matter of seconds, she fell asleep, wanting tomorrow to come early.
Alice stared back, her face in complete shock. "What? Well, can't you get someone to let us out?" "Someone reeeeaaal nice?" Oz added, getting yet another punch in the back from his chain. "Would you stop that?" He pulled Alice over to talk to her. "Alice, if she lets us go, why don't we ask if she can come with?" ".....Oz, you've gone mad." The chain crossed her arms stubbornly. "She's working for the Bad people. You know, like The Abyss." "I'm not mad. And you'll never forgive your sister will you? Come on, let's ask." Oz turned back to the girl, a smile on his face.
