Kakashi who is not David Bowie (my Kakashi is from an abridged Naruto) would sing in character. (also... it was a Queen Song by the way) and this was in the OOC thread anyway. lol Characters who would sing can sing. It's like how Scar would sing etc. But as an example... characters like Shirou, Hermione and Stern etc wouldn't sing. So yeah. lol
Joker is the type to sing in character right? So therefore, it should be okay. Unless Dark wants something really dramatic. lol

Of course, Iggy had a Vice-Grip when it came to hugs, one that didn't hurt, but meant they wouldn't get free, but she could tell that the Lieutenant was trying to do so, she she slackened her grip and let the poor girl go. "You're welcome, Ara-kun!" she spoke in response to his thanks, as she waved to him. Then, once she heard the voice from above her, she looked up. "Yup! Just us." she moved back over to the table and picked up her cup. "I knew you were there." she bluffed, or... well... did she really just bluff? "I could smell the hot chocolate, otherwise, I'd never have noticed you." she revealed... and heck, Iggy was known to like sweet things. She was like a blood hound when it came to sweets, so who knows? She may have simply noticed the smell of hot chocolate after all. "And no thanks." she chirped. "Sake?" she then offered in place. Ulquiorra Schiffer stood a distance away from both Stark and Grimmjow, as he just observed. His eyes saw all. They perceived all. They didn't miss anything. Anything he couldn't see simply didn't exist. He observed, that was all for now. His hands in his pockets, he turned away and looked at the moon of Hueco Mundo.It was almost like he was trying to find an answer hidden away by it's bright sheen. His face cold and emotionless, he gave nothing away. Things were moving along. Plans were in motion, and more plans would soon follow. It was only a matter of time.
I swear we've already covered the whole: "Do not question DT about the next arc anymore." a few pages back. So guys, really. Droid approves of his plans and trust me when I say his plans are awesome. He's not going to mess this up so yeah. XD Not that anyone is complaining, I just figured I'd throw this out there. I mean, I imagine it must be slightly tiring for DT to keep being asked about it when he wants to give us surprises to look forward to. :/ At least... yeah. :/
Been a while since I posted here... but, I made this and it's turned out better than I thought it would. This was complete improvisation, and it ended up completely different from how I first imagined, but yeah. I'd like some good old CnC please. XD Tear into it!
Subaru crossed her arms in front of her in a defensive pose as the shot was fired and blasted her back. Instantly a wing road materialised under her feet to stop her from travelling further. "What?! If that reaches zero, he'll die?!" she repeated. Don't they get it? This just tips the scales in his favour if he can't be hurt and only die... my intention was to subdue him with force... which is difficult enough without finding out that now I can't even wear him down, only kill him... Damn! what do I do? Subaru tried to consider her options. Naturally, she had no idea what this U-D was and her only objective currently was to save Thoma no matter the cost. "Hey! Pink hair!" she called to Marluxia, not knowing his name. "Can you remove that ability of yours?" she asked, referring to the numbers on his head. "At this rate, Thoma is only going to suffer more. We need to overwhelm him and stop him from fighting back, not kill him. If we don't do that, all of us will be killed instead!" she tried to explain. Dammit... I don't want to hurt Thoma at all... but this is the only thing I can think of right now... Shirou looked at Lightning as he considered her words, before he made his firm decision. He didn't even need to think about it. To him, he didn't have a choice to make. "I'm already involved in this war... I'm a Master like you guys. I've got to do what I can too. To runaway would be to deny everything I've done so far... that me... Saber and Tohsaka managed." Naturally though... Shirou was still under the impression that Lightning and Sazh were Masters in the Holy Grail War too... some weird stuff was happening sure, but he didn't know any better or different.

Subaru continued forwards at great speed, weaving in and out of Thoma's shots and punching through the last with her Revolver Knuckle. She bought her hand back, and ignitioned several cartridges as she prepared to launch one of her signature attacks. All the while closing the distance between her and Thoma. "I'm sorry Thoma! ...DIVINE!! BUUUUUUSSTTEEEEEEERR!" and she punched forth at point blank range in front of Thoma's face, her divine buster's magic crest appearing and then launching the powered up magical attack from her Excelion Mode. ...The dust cleared... and Thoma was unharmed... "...What?" Subaru looked on with a hint of surprise. The only change that had occurred was the number above Thoma's head had decreased by one. Other than that, he was fine... and admittedly, Subaru was partially relieved that he wasn't hurt. She still loved the poor boy after all.
"Thoma!" Subaru called out after him. "Damn..." she slammed her fist into the side of her leg in frustration. Her head lowered, her hair covering her eyes... "...Gear Excelion." she murmured quietly as she unleashed the full power and final form of her device. A magic circle appeared beneath her as an aura of energy surrounded her and glowing blue wings of light appeared around her skates, much like Nanoha's flyer fin. "ACS Standby" Mach Calibur proclaimed in response to having it's final form unleashed. Subaru couldn't afford to hold back anymore... and even still, she had one trick left in her arsenal just in case... Without waiting for the others, she took off at a new found speed only possible from her having released her Excelion mode, chasing quickly after Thoma.
"No! Thoma!" Subaru exclaimed as she was pushed back, and Thoma reverted to his mad frenzy. She stared at him in despair before looking down, her heart heavy. "...I'm sorry, Thoma. I'll save you... I promise. Just trust me." she mumbled her resolve to herself. Suddenly, her head shot up and she charged forwards towards the boy. "Let's go Mach Calibur!" "Roger!" Subaru's arm lashed out, grabbing Thoma's sword with her bare hand once his attack had finished. She grit her teeth as she poured strength into her fist... "YAAAAAAAAHH!" and proceeded to somehow snap the the weapon clean in two. But... knowing the nature of the Eclipse virus... this was sadly just the beginning of what was going to be a painful, heart-wrenching battle for them.
"Yes!" Iggy chirped brightly from her hugging position. "It is so long, it's taller than me. ...The beard I mean... not you know... that would be weird..." she pointed out, backing up Arashi's point and correcting what sounded like a bad pun... after all, her innocent point was that since she was so small, it wasn't hard for things to be taller than her in most cases. For this conversation topic, the Captain-Commander's beard. OOC: Short but cute post just for the hell of it. XD EDIT: Arch went crazy... due to how this ended up sounding... so yeah.
OOC: really trying to keep up with this under my mountain load of work... My success is failing... So... just posting as Subaru for now so things can keep going here. I'll try to post as Shirou later. In all honesty... my time will be hard pressed until May 4th. But I'll do what I can. ~ At Thoma's words, Subaru finally relinquished her hugging grip from him, except for a lone hand of comfort on his shoulder as she looked around to see who was approaching, and that was when she heard a voice... it was familiar but... something was off... As she completed her turn and took in the sight of the one who had spoken, her eyes widened in shock. "Fate? Fate T. Harlaown? But..." It was indeed her Instructor's best friend... but... she was young? Subaru had seen recordings before of Nanoha and Fate's younger days... so she had no doubts this was the same girl... but how was this possible? ...Well, she had been travelling with a time travelling doctor (speaking of which... she did wonder what had happened to him, was this the help he had gotten for her?).. so maybe it was something to do with that? But Thoma was here too along with this young Fate... so... something was seriously up. "Thoma... it's okay. This is Fate... I'm sure... so... just try to stay in control, I know it's hard... but she isn't an enemy." she told him, again, trying to keep him from slipping back into an out of control state.
Iggy looked at the Captain in front of her as he placed down his drink harder than he intended and made talk about his brother. "Oh... Big shame. I like meeting people. If he got promoted like that. He must have been incredibly strong." she announced, somewhat proud in her minor drunken stupor that she had been able to deduct as much. "Lanan... It's been a few days now, I do wonder what happened to him." she then responded about Arashi's thoughts on the missing 10th division Captain. And then... several things happened at once. The moment he had suggested ordering another round... they were interrupted. "Nao-chan!" Iggy exclaimed (as well as shortening her addressee's name), almost feigning her surprise, before giving Arashi an amused look which communicated; 'see? I told you she would be here any moment.' Suddenly, the small captain had used Shunpo, vanishing on the spot and appearing instantly in front of the Lieutenant and hugging her randomly, looking up cutely at the angry red haired woman before her. "Ara-kun and I were just having a few drinks at his suggestion. Why don't you join us?" she asked innocently and sweetly (also having shortened the Captain's name), trying to defuse the situation. She could tell... this girl thought that the current Kenpachi was just some little brute who enjoyed getting drunk all the time. Of course... this likely stemmed from the fact that the Lieutenant before her had only ever seen her drunk when she came to drag her Captain away. Also, Iggy somehow had the idea that the red haired Lieutenant; Naoto thought that she [Iggy] was the one always doing the inviting to these drinking events. Not very true... the very first time; Arashi had been the one to invite Iggy... just like this time. Iggy knew that she couldn't be liked by everyone, and for that matter, she never tried. But she didn't want the beautiful Naoto Ozawa to hate her for some reason. Maybe it was because her Captain was a good friend? Iggy didn't know... but either way, she felt like there was some misconception that she needed to clear up with the young woman. "Why don't you... join us?" she hicked again, while still looking up cutely and hugging Naoto. It was a fact... Iggy liked to give hugs.
Iggy's cheeks had a slight red glow to them as she sipped another cup of Sake. It was amazing that such a small girl could drink so much, and still be coherent. Well... as coherent as she usually was... She looked across to her Drinking partner, Captain Arashi Zanshou of the fifth division and she grinned cheesily at him, slightly from her drunken stupor and partially because she was happy to be spending such a time with her good friend. Both of them were similar in attitude to their roles as Captains, and enjoyed having a good time like this once in a while. Drinking Sake together like this had become something like a weekly tradition. Iggy had deeply welcomed the break, after all... Sake tasted so good after you had just finished training with your whole squad, which essentially had involved her beating the hell out of everybody one after the other. Being the current Kenpachi, she had a reputation to live up to after all and the eleventh division always enjoyed a good fight. The training was always light hearted and fun... and... brutally serious all the same. She hicked slightly as she spoke up. "So where is your cute Lieutenant anyway? Isn't it about time she show up to get you back to work?" she joked, noting that this seemed to be the usual occurrence. "It's not like her to run late is it?" she took another sip of her Sake, and hicked gently again.
You're certainly popular today aren't you? the voice commented to Linegia as Lightning's Razor Gale struck the l'cie in the back and dispersed on impact. Linegia ignored the voice again as she looked towards the boy who had just lost conciousness. "Too bad. He seemed pretty close to making a breakthrough." she shrugged before staring at Lightning and Odin who had wedged herself in between the space between Leo and herself. "And as for you, Lightning. Where does your journey take you? You, who have made a similar journey before. What will you find this time?" she asked, not caring if Lightning understood her question or not. Lin wasn't one for philosophy, but the question had to be asked. The small girl raised her hand to the sky and called her sword to her, as the giant crystallised black blade appeared in a shower of dark sparks. The girl held the colossal sword in a single hand with ease. She hovered in place in front of the Eidolon and l'cie before her, her eyes still lacking emotion. "In fact... what answers did you find last time for that matter?" she asked again. "You fight and fight for your own reasons as I fight for mine. We fight for different goals and different reasons, and we are fundamentally different ourselves. In appearance and mentality. You don't consider yourself a dog of cocoon or of pulse. You are; Lightning. Even I must say, I do not hate someone like yourself." Of course, this didn't mean the small girl liked her. The girl didn't really like anyone, excluding Cidolfu and Jenova, and she held a huge hatred for Cocoon. But... was this a mediocre form of respect for the experienced l'cie before her. Who knew? Not even Lin could be sure. Obviously, it would likely not make a difference to Lightning either way. She swung her sword down so the tip was pointing directly at Lightning. "What are you going to do now? Fight me? Or take charge of rescuing your beloved students? I won't stop you either way. My goals are for now to ensure the survival of the precious tools that my Master has crafted, and the development of those tools. Even you. Don't consider this as special treatment, but more as a way to make the means meet the end. The choice is yours."
