yea, i don't think any of us should expect any news either. i think at this point, our best bet is to hope that Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix makes it out of Japan.
i don't think it's possible to make it have a second keyblade while having the normal command menu. the trick behind having a normal command menu is making the game think it's normal Sora which is why the second blade is gone. and the Growth Abilities actually do have an effect by the way. you can give normal Sora the Max ones from the drive forms and they'll be stronger. however, most other abilities from drive forms have no effect.
i don't believe that was possible without giving Normal Sora the rest of Master Forms attacks (which would be done with the Model Mod). i could be wrong though.

i figured that Green Lantern and Joker were a given since they were in Mortal Kombat vs DC. Green Arrow is a pleasant surprise though, i figured he'd play kind of like Hawkeye in Marvel Vs Capcom 3. i've seen preorder bonuses for alternate costumes which will probably come in the form of download codes.

I used to be better at not holding grudges, but not so much these days. Like there was coworker of mine that said something that rubbed me the wrong way when we first met. Even though I've seen that she's a nice person, I still kind of hate her just because of that one comment she made. I'm trying to just forget about it but it's really hard. I know that grudges ultimately aren't worthwhile, but it's easier said than done to let them go.
it's probably not a big deal. just avoiding them is another option
i'm a little confused at the lack of a secret movie. i'm hoping that Deep Dive is still intact for the HD Release. i know it lacks the whole mystery and such now that Kingdom Hearts 2 has been out for some time, but it's still an awesome scene to watch. i hope that they mean that a NEW secret movie is what is lacking.

it's hard for me. Riku's style seemed far cooler but Sora's links with Spirits are far more useful in most cases. but i think it's Riku for me.
it would have to be FInal Fantasy 7. it's my favorite RPG of all time. overated? probably. good? definitely.
i don't have the Japanese version anymore so no. and no, it's not possible to play as anyone besides Sora and Riku.

no, you can't port that to any other version of the game because Limit Form is only in Final Mix. also, stop posting porting requests in other threads. keep them in the one thread for the game you want them ported for.
