Also, watched a new anime out today called Capione. There was a scene just like Gilgamesh using his Gate of Babylon/Unlimited Bladeworks. Like......
Hmm, funny that he said that considering I'd only briefly mentioned that I'd probably leave 'one day', and had no intention of leaving entirely...
Hey there. What's up?
I swear... When I got to his route in game and he started rapping all this. I couldn't stop laughing.
[IMG] Contract?
As I said, I didn't mention everything I actually have lol And also, to be fair about School Days (I mean, I expected and respect such a reaction, but...)... in the VN, you can make your own route anyway. It doesn't have to follow the anime. You can actually aim for something other than the 'nice boat' ending. In fact, there are in fact a fair few happy endings. ...and yeah... a lot of badends... but that is beside the point. The route you can get ultimately is down to you. (although, I'm aiming for 100% completion like I have with all my other VNs) Either way, I think School Days is great, it's just that a lot of people were shocked by the way they chose to end the anime, but really... that's one of the things that made it as famous as it is in the first place. Same with the novel... and since the new translated HD release of the VN is out at last... School Days is back and better than ever.
Link to the original thread: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?112119-AnoHana XD But yeah. Ano Hana hit me in ways that only a few anime ever have. It's normally anime by KEY like Clannad, Angel Beats etc that hit me in such a way, but Ano Hana came pretty darn close to the extreme. Either way, it was an anime I certainly loved and always will. When the music from it comes on my Ipod when it's on Shuffle, I always get that twinge of emotion back, every single time. XD
Oh god yes. XD And yeah, I dunno how long the anime is gonna be, but it should be long enough to answer everything. The first Eureka was 50 eps,...
Detention... That's where Anya had to head to now. Lunch passed uneventfully, and she started making her way towards the white room. It seems her earlier attempt to ditch class wasn't going to be excused. Well... it was a regular occurrence, and since other students were being punished, it seemed natural that she wouldn't be an exception. She passed the two guards posted in front of her destination and entered the room. Instantly, she felt the peculiar sensation of Rendium negating her powers. Anya's body became racked with a sick feeling. Everyone reacted to Rendium in different ways. Since Anya's powers were a result of every cell in her body being in a constant state of flux, the Rendium was negating that and it felt like her body might break down any second. Her body was her power, and her power was being negated... so... by extension, her body was being negated too. It's a wonder she was able to live. Anya had wondered if it was down to her regeneration... which of course would be negated by the Rendium too, but she had to wonder that if somewhere deep down, it was resisting the degeneration of her body just enough to just barely allow her to live in this condition. Of course, there wasn't enough Rendium in the room to kill the students normally, that would be pointless if that was the case... However Anya's reaction to the substance was likely special due to the circumstances of her existence. Her regenerative power was nowhere near as strong as it could be anyway... naturally, she was designed to be perfect, and that would develop in time, but for now, her regenerative power along with her shape-shifting powers were still in their early stages so to speak. They were still formidable and made her highly dangerous. Everyone knew this. Regardless... why she was still even concious, she didn't know. To be honest, after trying to figure it out as many students had likely done; 'How to resist/get past Rendium'... and coming up with nothing, even though she was convinced that something must be going on or she'd be dead by now... Anya had just drawn too many blanks and stopped caring. The fact was... she was able to live. That was all that was important right now. As Anya took her seat in the room, she didn't let it show on her face the effect the Rendium was having on her. It had been the same when she had tried her escape attempt however long ago it had been... the same feeling, and even Anya had to admit... For that one instance... she had experienced a sensation that she had never felt before... something that might have been called 'fear' when Mr. Blood had threatened to plant a piece of Rendium inside of her permanently if she ever tried an escape attempt again, that was if they didn't decide to 'relocate' her altogether of course. She didn't know if his threat was true, and again, she had shown no traces of emotion when faced with such a threat, but it was something she would prefer to avoid. There were two others in the room with her. She was aware that Sam was there for the same reason she was. Being late. That meant this other guy... Lex, was it? Yes. He was the one who had asked too many questions. Anya's calculating brain felt a little sluggish thanks to the sickening effect that the Rendium was having on her body, however she was still able to deduce all of this from just one glance at the other two, each. She just listened in quietly on their conversation... having nothing to say herself. Why would she? For now, she'd just pass the time until detention was over. That was her current aim anyway.
These are a majority of the games I have played and highly recommend. You'll notice one or two have already been mentioned, but I figure mentioning them again even if others have mentioned them just shows how good they really are. So here we go: Fate Stay/Night - Amazing... one of the most famous VNs ever. Clannad - Again... amazing and probably my favourite. I have 300+ hours invested into this game. Also, interestingly enough, it's probably the most successful VN that doesn't have H-scenes. And to be honest... it doesn't need them. They'd likely ruin it actually. Kanon - Anything by KEY (like Clannad, Air etc) is great really. Kanon is no exception. Shuffle! - This one is just... hnng.... So so so good. Snow Sakura - This one isn't very well known, but I rather enjoyed it. Good story and art, and nice characters. G-Senjou no Maou - Another one of my all time faves... the music, art and story are fricking fantastic. Play this before you die. Please! It's too good to miss. Katawa Shoujo - I doubt I need to say much about this to fellow KHV-ers. Umineko no Naku Koro Ni - I'm pretty sure that P has this one covered... lol Wanko to Kurasou - Adorable and lovely. It tugs at my heart strings in a whole different way to the other games. Kira-Kira - Ah... this is essentially K-On... but more adult and more dramatic. School Days - ...Nice Boat. That's all I'll say here. I didn't include all of my visual novels... Some of them are probably too extreme... lol But yeah, I personally think that games like Ace don't count as VNs. I mean, that'd make Persona (great game series too) count. I personally think VNs are plain and simply: text with pictures and character sprites, perhaps some video/animated scenes thrown in, voices for most (although not all games have voice), and for most... H-scenes (although as proven by Clannad and games with patches to remove them, not all have or need H-scenes) I think any further interaction takes away the VN aspect. But that is just my opinion. Anyway... I've been playing VNs for a long time, and I've played a lot as you can see from my list (which isn't even the full thing, lol) and my collection is growing more and more all the time. PS:...I can't believe I didn't find this thread when it first started... I mean... this is a major necro bump, lol
Yeah, what you described was 'The Promise' I believe, which was mentioned in the above article. lol
It's really good, and I'm so fond of their characters that I love it even more! XD And hell yeah I am. I've been waiting for this series for so...
Just wanted to tell you that I love your Eureka Seven sig. Really love it. lol How you finding Ao so far?
But yeah, hopefully I'll return to the Cove one day. Cause... think about it. I may no longer exist... but I'm still a godmod. I can do anything. XD
The annoying thing is that... in the past. It wouldn't even be that fast for me. It's just life at late has been busy, even though it's meant to...
Of course. The problem with Cove is that too many people post to fast. It's impossible for me to keep up, and the sheer amount of posts I'd have...
Hey dude, no worries. It wasn't you, trust me. Life is just being life. I had to make a choice and this is how it went. ... At any rate... A parting last post by me. Enjoy: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?120033-Crossover-Cove&p=3726424&viewfull=1#post3726424 (what... you didn't expect me to go out pathetically did you? I had to of course exit with typical Bushy bullshÃt fashion) XD But yeah... To everyone else. Thanks for the kind farewells. It means a lot.
After the revelations in the RP's OOC thread... there was only one thing left to do... Bushy couldn't just leave how things were... and so... he had to do this right. He had something he had always wanted to do, and in this RP was the only possible way right now. Bushy warped to Kamina. Kamina marched onwards, Team Gurren close behind, but then... someone approached him. "Yo." "...You seem familiar. I recognise your manly spirit from somewhere." Kamina proclaimed, taking in the image of the guy standing before him. "Yeah. It'll make sense one day." Bushy grinned back it him which for some reason cause Kamina to grin at him in turn. "I feel like I should trust your words." "Then trust this too. That boy there... he'll pierce the heavens with his drill." Bushy gestured to Simon, with a warm look on his face. "You don't need to tell me that. Heh. I like you, friend. You feel like joining Team Dai-Gurren here?" "I'd love to, but I'm gonna be leaving for a while..." "That's no problem, buddy! We'll have a place for you right here when you get back." "Thanks. Well... I have a favour to ask actually. Something I've always wanted to do and this is my only chance." Kamina looked puzzled as Bushy approached and whispered in his ear. "You... want me to punch you?" "Yup." ... I don't get it... but alright." Kamina put on his sunglasses and smirked. "Brace yourself, this is gonna be a good one!" he drew his arm back... and then... "LET'S SEE YOU GRIT THOSE TEETH!" ...and thus... Kamina punched Bushy so hard. He punched him out of the RP and out of existance. Nobody would remember Bushy, or his endeavours. And thus... The godmod of the RP was gone... For now... DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNN!
