Hum, it is just like the way girls can call everyone "dear" but with boys would be a little weird. Maybe that's because women were associate with gentle, kind, beautiful and the like. Men were associate with though, hard work, strong and the kind. It is just the old machismo that still have some influence at the time being.

I believe it's simply because when he don't see, he can sense better the Darkness and Light. Without the blindfold he can prevents himself to turning into Ansem-Heartless form.

Twilight town, because it's just awesome world. It brings... "Good Memories" feelings. Hollow bastion, the War, the Friends and the whole Restoration group. Working together and mysteries. The World that Never Was, the call place where Heartless live, and where the Nobodies lives, "Light" and "Darkness" walk side by side there.
I like a lot Hollow Bastion and Traverse Town. In hollow bastion, it brings me all those feeling from the story, many things have happened on that Castle. Oh yeah, cool Castle by the way. :3 For Traverse Town, it is a place which brings the "We will meet there" feeling. Don't matter how things go, if you want to find someone you will see them there.
There is not a way to truly explain it or tell yourself... let's see. You know you're in love, because your heart just beats stronger when the person is around, you like to look at him/her and especially talk with them. You feel a different bond, something you may call "in love". When you're in love, you will know or at least will start to ask yourself: "Am I in love?" or something like that. Yes, distant relationships may work, though it is very very hard; but not impossible.
