Instantly, the feeling of battle was all around them as the fighting began and Gunmen appeared from the enemy base left, right and center and Kokuren Lagann was instantly surrounded by several.
"Look sharp, Simone! We're gonna kick some ass!" Mina yelled out with a smirk on her face. Her pointy sunglasses flickered in the light as she spun Kokuren Lagann around as she planted it's fist into the face/chest of one of the enemy Gunman that had leaped towards them knocking it back into several of it's kin.

"What is that? It can't be... Is it that Gurren Lagann we've heard so much about?!" One of the beastmen exclaimed in fear.

"Wrong! Dumbass!" Mina exclaimed as Kokuren Lagann charged forwards kneeing this Gunman in the gut and a drill exploding from said knee and piercing through it's enemy and the other enemy Gunman behind it. "The name of this mecha is... KOKUREN LAGANN!" They instantly detonated and exploded as the drill retracted back into Kokuren Lagann's knee.
Kokuren Lagann turned around slowly, more enemy Gunman being in it's wake and charging towards it. "Sis! There's more coming!"
"No worries, girl! Nothing can stop our indomitable spirit! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM - KICK!" Mina shouted as she next made Kokuren Lagann do a running drop kick into the approaching enemies.
Meanwhile... amidst all the fighting, Simone was only half paying attention as her sis took care of all enemies around them, the sheer power of Kokuren Lagann overwhelming the mook Gunman. Her mind was on Simon as she took a glance over in his direction as he tried to take over Dai-Gunzan.
Suddenly, a shadow above took Simone's attention away as it seemed a Gunman had jumped up above them to try and catch them off guard. "Sis! Up above!"
By instinct, Simone just reacted as a drill sprouted from Kokuren Lagann's forehead, piercing through the Gunman and stopping it in it's tracks.
"Nice one! I knew you had my back, sis!"
"Y-yes, of course!"

Care to expand on that?
Like what do you think it lacks exactly and so on? What do you think it could use etc?

Kamina was amused by her male self's reaction, but then she raised an eyebrow at his question about her Yoko. "Me and my Yoko huh? I wouldn't say we're... not the same. He was always telling me I'm so reckless and stuff. But yeah, we just never really got that far. I mean, now I'm suddenly here anyway with Simone, so yeah. You know something? I get the feeling that you're a bit ahead of me somehow. I'm not sure how this whole thing works. But-" and she was cut off mid sentence as Simon and Nono appeared which is when she dropped the bombshell on them (OOC: refer to last post by me) about Kamina and Yoko's kiss. She was impressed by Nono's energy and reaction. "Hey, other me. I like this chick. She's got spunk. Definitely perfect for Team Kokuren- Oh, well... I guess for us it's now Team Gurren, right?" She corrected herself. "We used to be Team Gurren in my world. But when I grabbed my Gunman... I wanted to call it Gurren too, but Simone was like 'but... it's black, calling it Gurren doesn't make sense.' So... for the sake of it, I called it Kokuren and also changed the Team name. It's just-" But she was cut off mid-ramble again as Simon suddenly took off running. She let go of Kamina (male) as this happened allowing him to stand upright. Confusion set upon the two, all except Nono who wrote it off as Simon being excited about the battle. "Or... maybe he needs the bathroom?" She suggested. They started walking back to camp anyway when Kamina (female) suddenly remembered something. "Oh yeah. Other me. Simone raised a good point earlier. Calling us both Kamina could get confusing, especially during fights and stuff, So... I was trying to come up with a solution but kept drawing blanks. It was Nono here who actually figured it out for me. So... from now on just call me 'Mina'. Kay?"

Meanwhile, Simone was making her way over to her own Lagann which was now uncombined and parked near the other Lagann and Zen, when she saw Simon running full speed and throwing himself into the cockpit. A feeling instantly settled into her heart... she knew as plain as day that something was bothering the boy. She had no idea what it could be, but it was clear that he was upset by something. How did she know? Because... she'd be reacting the same way undoubtedly. She and him were the same after all... They were the same person.
Maybe I should talk to him? She thought to herself, but... her timidness and shyness overcame her. Would it even be right for me to bother him?... we might be the same person... but... it's really none of my business isn't it...?
And with a heavy feeling in her heart, and a look of worry on her face... she simply got into her own Lagann, ready to sort herself out for the upcoming battle.

It was time.
The new and improved Team Dai-Gurren stood in a line. Inside their mecha and/or armed with whatever weapons they had. The sun was rising higher on the horizon... and with Kamina's signal... their plan began.
They started marching towards the canyon. People said their goodbyes to those staying behind. Leeron told everyone he'd be monitoring them from the base and guiding them through everything as the plan progressed, and Kamina and Mina were spurring everybody on.
Kamina was clearly about to make a speech before being cut off by Mina who made one instead, but the Leader didn't seem to mind and smirked as she made it.
"Listen up, everyone! Today is going to be a day that will be remembered for all of time! Everyone in the world... all of those trapped underground! All of those fighting on the surface! They will look to us, Team Dai-Gurren and be guided to the destiny that we will grab with our own hands! This is just the beginning! First we will take this big Gunman for ourselves! And then we'll march onto the capital! And we will show the Spiral King EXACTLY WHO THE HELL WE ARE!" She exclaimed a she pumped up the rest of the Team with her words. The group instantly reacting and feeling the power coming from them.
Kamina laughed a little at how similar she was to him before joining in with her, roaring with manly spirit.

Yeah, made by KEY, and I know for a fact that the Visual Novel was very good. So I'm really looking forward to the rest of it.
I've loved the episodes so far anyway.
KEY just somehow always manages to have amazing anime adaptions of it's VNs. The quality is so amazingly high every time.
But yeah, anyone who is a fan of KEY's work but doesn't know of Little Busters should definitely watch this.
