I was introduced to this book by a friend of mine who said that it would be life changing to read it. It was certainly surreal enough xD And I certainly have felt strange since reading it >_> But yeah, written by Haruki Murakami it takes place over a night starting just before midnight. It is gritty and, as I previously stated, surreal with half the book taking place in almost like a dream sequence (the Man With No Face O_O). I would heartily recommend this book and author for anyone looking for an interesting read =] Has anyone else read it?
BBC story I can't believe they allowed him to not drive the bus. If that had been Christian or Muslim "propaganda" on the side of the bus he would have been disciplined. But no, who has ever heard of protecting atheists?
Human beings are born socially, but not physically, mentally or capably, equal. However as they live their lives that equality changes depending on their actions. It cannot of course become more, however it can most certainly become less. Everyone is not socially equal and should not be treated as so. Debate with intelligent and logical reasoning.

A quick search didn't bring up anything specifically on this topic so here goes. Why is it that this group is tolerated? There have been countless court cases both against them and made by them and yet they still exist. Why does the American government condone an organisation whose sole purpose is the spreading of hate? I also feel pity for the younger member of the family who have been completely brain washed and indoctrinated (like many children in theistic families) so that they have no choice but to follow. One of the women was in her early 20's (I think) and was very nice, normal and seemed perfectly intelligent until she opened her mouth. And then there are the young children they force to attend their pickets. Surely this is child abuse? I ask, why has this not been clamped down on. Lack of political will? Or is it secretly supported by senators with more than the well-being of their constituents on their minds?

Of all the things he had to choose to talk about in his speech he chose this xD Likening "protecting humanity from the destructive influence of homosexuality" and protecting the rain-forests from destruction was certainly a bit too much (i.e. completely out of line). This also means that all catholics believe this now x] And if not well, you just aren't catholic, are ya? Comments please.

I mean, if Christians are allowed to plaster their propaganda everywhere, why can't atheists put one message on a few buses? The message being: "There's probably no God.
