Live Graphic Art, live! Anyway, after a long hiatus from Photoshop (not really) I'm trying to get back into the grove of things. This is a desktop I did. I like minimalism, if you couldn't tell, haha. Spoiler Here's another desktop, I found a bunch of huuuuuge Re:Coded stocks that I've been rendering (which I will post in a pack when I've done a few more!). I feel like everyone hates Selphie so I did her first. Spoiler Aaaand yet another desktop. This one I also did a blue version of which I like muuuch more, but I like how I arranged the text here, haha. Spoiler My Illustrator wasn't working and I wanted to practice cell shading, so I made this vexel. Of myself. Because New York schools basically spend gazillions of dollars, we're starting to get pressure to make some major cuts. I've been looking over the proposals for what they're going to discuss getting rid of. If their plans don't change, next year there will be little to no AP classes, little to no Technology department, little to no Art department, no Music department, and very few electives available. Next year is my senior year. If there are no APs and basically no Tech classes, wtf am I going to pad my schedule with. ._.

Been a while since I made one of these threads. ;o Tom Krell leads a double life. During the day, he’s a research fellow currently translating a book of post-Kantian philosophy in Cologne, Germany. But after work he’s making narcotized, below-fi R&B as How to Dress Well. In October of last year, Krell started posting batches of his clouded tunes to his blog. They’re marked by his high voice; piercing and fragile like the rest of his music. Been really, really into the album Love Remains lately. Kind of weird for me, because I usually don't touch the R&B/Hip-Hop genre, but I don't think it's really limited or should be classified as that. It's more experimental than anything, chillwave but not really. Firstly, as some of you may have noticed, our homepage is looking a bit different. The issue of things exploding off of the page has been fixed, we've instead opted for a simpler two-column layout. All of the content is the same, with a few notable new features: - On the left hand side, we have a feed of the five most recent threads posted in our Coder's Corner. - A small navigation to bring you to some of our notable pages (archives, podcast, forums, arcade, etc). - Pagination at the bottom so you can look through old news posts, dating back to when KHV first opened its vBulletin site. - The icon of the user who posted the news now displays. Additionally, our Cutscene Archive has been updated with the Japanese cutscenes from Re:Coded. Special thanks to our staff member Aurangzeb56 for recording them for us! As some of you may or may not be aware of, over the past few months we've been having problems with advertisement bots. While we've been doing all we can to stop them from posting, some still slip through. To help us combat it, we recently installed a mod to help us catch them. One part of the mod checks the first few posts of a new member. If there is any sort of link, video, or image in it, the post will not show and it will have to be approved by a moderator. So if you've been trying to post and haven't been having any luck, this is why. Before it would check any member with six or less posts, but today I lowered it to two. So we just ask that you either make a post or two before posting any links or that you simply have patience with our moderators until we approve them. Thanks guys. =]

So nearly all of the school districts around here have closed in anticipation of the snow tonight. We're supposed to get about 12 inches tonight alone, and it's supposed to start like... now-ish? My sisters are being mean and saying it will not happen, but I checked the weather site: I am waiting for you, snow. plus I haven't done my homework or showered so if you don't come I am kind of ****ed
This originally started as me and Chev trying to make sigs imitating each others' styles, but that didn't turn out so well for either of us. But my outcome was still pretty. ;o Still a bit rusty though, haha. I oouldn't make lighting work at all, which is sad, because I love to dodge/burn. CnC is loved. <3
I haven't touched the good old Photoshop in quite some time, at least not to make a sig, so I've been trying to force myself to lately. Simply because I miss making gfx babies. :c I was mostly trying to play around with depth here but I'm unsure how successful I was. Still, it's miles better than the stuff I've been making (and then scrapping) lately, so I'm proud of myself. Critique is always appreciated. ;o
