Vampires due to their very nature need the blood of others to survive. Which means you are labelled as a source of food for them. thats what people have against them. they may be good people but that doesn't change their nature.
Personally A werewolf girl would be great, i think i'd be able to handle a girl like that unless she''s also vampire in which case i'd wear turtle necks.
