Steel just stood there for a moment. The silver crosses on his belt still dangling like wind chimes, and his cape only now fluttering down. He fully turned to see this "Stratos". He stood quietly for a moment more, then began to walk down the path. He silently motioned with a gauntlet covered hand for Stratos to follow. "I'm Steel." He said quietly. He continued into an explanation of the letter. "The Letters were sent out by Master Yen Sid; in our current situation he is in charge. He is most likely at the castle." He said the last part as they rounded a bend and the Castle came into view. "Many people have gotten the letters." He continued. "To be honest, you're unlucky it was me up there; plenty of the others are much more friendly." He shook his head. "But I suppose it can't be helped. You can learn about the situation from Master Yen Sid and the other members." Steel reverted to silence. He supposed he was being rude, but at the moment, he didn't particularly care: He was marching right back to the opposite of where he wanted to be. It's not like he hated the others; he just didn't want to talk to them right now. He wanted peace and quiet, to think.

Steel sighed as he heard the sound of a hoverboard shaped key glider come hurtling toward him at a breakneck pace. He opened his eyes and merely stood undaunted as it plummeted towards him and, at the last second, flew inches over his head. It mildly disturbed his hair(Not even blowing it off of his covered eye), but other than that he was completely unaffected. He still found reason to complain though. "It's impossible to get any peace and quiet around here." He whispered. Behind him, a boys voice clearly stated: "Well that hurt." Steel had not turned to look at the boy and he likely wouldn't be able to through the dust his landing had kicked up, but he felt the need to respond in a manner that would likely be judged as sarcastic. "Oh really?" he inquired of the boy. "I thought that crashing in a manner such as that would feel akin to visiting a top class spa." He now slightly turned his head to look at who he was talking to. "You have a letter I presume?"

Steel smiled as Kuzco waved. He waved back, genuinely grateful that Kuzco considered him a friend. "I'll be back later for the foreign policy stuff. Have fun dancing." He followed Cat and Etrius lead and boarded the keyblade glider. A pointed end shot out a dark beam and opened a bright shining portal. Steel drove through and began the trip back to the land of departure.

There were always things to be worried about. As he set down his glider, he could already see several troubled faces. He sighed; things would never be satisfactory around here would they? He waved back as Cat walked off, and thought about what to do next. He couldn't really think of anything. Karina was upset but that could wait, and it wasn't as if she would listen to him anyway. The two hadn't even talked since Steel joined the group; he honestly wondered how he had managed to learn her name. Ananta was also upset but that weird Buece kid was handling it. He facepalmed as he realized he didn't have room to call anyone weird. Especially since Etrius and Cat had already left and he had spent at least 3 minutes sitting alone in a keyblade glider modified to fit a crowd: he might as well be running a bus. He decided he would walk to the summit where he could be alone for a while. He didn't care much to stick around and wind up sharing his background or motives. None of them would truly understand, even if they decided to support him. That's what people were like after all: They only have access to their own mind, they can't truly understand another persons, even if they could read it perfectly. Their comments would be biased and self interested, and he didn't have time to deal with such things. He would rest for the days ahead. As he neared the summit, he looked up at the sky. He closed his eyes and hummed to himself a gentle tune that he could never forget. He knew perfectly well he wasn't too different from regular people; but that was exactly why he couldn't tell them.

"Brilliant deduction Kronk." Steel smiled; a creepy, knowing smile. Of course no one could see it. He briefly considered recruiting Kronk; Brilliant people with comedic tendencies was entirely commonplace in Corp. He however decided against it on the principles that it would be considered interference, and Kronk wasn't really a fighter. When everyone gathered to see the keyhole, Steel Just facepalmed. How had they missed that? It was so obvious! He stared blank faced at Ananta's Failed attempt to seal the keyhole, and then at Cat's successful attempt. When Etrius Asked him about a ride, he sighed. "Well... I had really hoped to discuss foreign policy and trade routes with Kuzco... I suppose I could just teach you guys first and then stay behind... Oh heck," He said as he summoned his keyblade and tossed it into the air. "I can do it later... I suppose." He began modifying his keyblade glider to fit extra passengers. It shifted into a kind of shuttle with a white, gold, and blue color scheme. "Get in."

I don't mean to be contridictive Krowley, but I Triple checked before I posted that, and I double checked when you said I didn't have enough. Barrier Surge cost three AP; between my 1 unused AP of my primary 10, and the two AP added by my White Fang, I have three AP available to me.

Steel stopped cold. The manner in which his companions had just reacted to the situation was... strange. "Um... Guys?" He paused, unsure how to continue. "Well first, this isn't how things work, y'know? We have to go to the throne room and make it all official. Of course, that would be under normal circumstances, but here...." He paused again. "Am I the only one who saw that smirk? You didn't know he was lying?" When he received no response negating this accusation he was somewhat dumbfounded. "You all mean I was the only one helping out of the goodness of my heart- wait... that doesn't work. -I was the only one helping cause I wanted to?" He paused a third time. "Still doesn't work." He whispered. "I was the only one who helped because... I knew I should? ... Or perhaps for some form of entertainment? ...Why DID I help?"
