the pricing is just overall bizarre. 5 dollars for 4 hours... but for only 3 dollars more you can have an extra 164!
The trick with Re:CoM was that the good looking cutscenes were all prerendered, so we basically got HD versions of PS2 cutscenes. If you look at Sora during the text based cutscenes he actually looks significantly better now, which is crazy backwards The actual environments and animations in Re:CoM were already way ahead of KH1 though, so they still look pretty solid
er... yes? It's called techno. When you don't create music based on your limitations it sounds awkward, like a midi of an orchestral piece. Instead you work with the punchy sounds and make it worth that way. KH1.5 sounds closer to reality, sure, but they didn't take proper care in preserving all the tracks. It works fantastically for the soft songs, like Neverland, but the punch shouldn't have been removed from the more action oriented pieces. They definitely weren't quite matches for Yoko's style, to be sure. I have my doubts
And here I was thinking PSNow might actually be cool
Girls Love Robots is an indie puzzle game where you have to place girls robots and nerds in a pattern that satisfies all parties EDIT: Pardon me, it's actually "Girls Like robots"
I can kinda get Ayla, but Robo? Are we working on the Girls Love Robots train of logic here
wait what
Yes but also very soft and useful for computer parts and noise dampening
they were important, they're just classically important, where their actions are the more significant part of who they are. With Cross it basically becomes Serge and Whoever We Could Get All-Stars Racing Transformed
lol you have a heart made out of gold
OOOH, that actually explains a lot. I'm talking about the high sharp pianos, not he piano bass. Those, as far as I'm concerned could have more attack. The bass piano is perfect, honestly. On the PS2 limitations thing... I hope not. A properly talented musician would work to make something sound the best it can with the resources given, not make something in a quality nobody can hear and downgrade it for the version people actually get to hear. A lot of the songs in KH1 did come out soft, and I think that was something being lost in translation, not their true form being revealed
Compare the sidelined characters though. Random scarecrow thing... a dog. Because of Chrono Cross' choice system a lot of characters don't feel important anyways, since there are often three different characters that fulfill ultimately the exact same purpose
Doing youtube for the explicit purposes of making a lot of money is moronic, ad revenue pays terrible. But you always put things out to the public because you want people see it unless you have a poor concept of how the internet works. On the money making thing, you can't get a capture card and expect money, but if ALL you care about is money you can be a manipulative dick and get quite a bit of fame or at least infamy. You need some understanding about lowest common denominator, but honestly not caring about standards is a fast path to that anyways
Ayla's probably the least plot significant, probably because she can't talk and doesn't have any particularly unique abilities. Robo has that mission in the future, that side quest where you save the trees, and factors into the plot of Cross I mean, I'm not so deluded as to think that the characters on Chrono Trigger are fantastically developed or anything, but they have infinite shades of complexity compared to most of Cross' cast
You mean you DIDN'T like equipping the item that reduces your HP to one and gives you a small EXP boost and then going and fighting Riku over and over?
They sound more natural, softer, and as an extension they blend easier, and that needs to be compensated for. Instruments don't HAVE to be soft and blenty, they can have plenty of attack, that's just a bit harder to do with synths
Actually, doing it just for the money and stuff is pretty easy, because there are dirty tricks you cna use if that's all you care about Doing what you enjoy is all well and good, but unfortunately that often means nobody will see that, and that's a huge shame Like I bet not many people have subbed to Itsadogandgame yet, even though they REALLY should https://www.youtube.com/user/ItsaDogandGame
they're not lol so randum though, they each have a key story function, they fill out a quota for a party member from each era, and unlike Chrono Cross, their personality traits don't begin and end with "they talk with a funny accent"
Creativity? Maybe, if lol so randum counts for creativity now Effort? Not a chance
Because there are so many other reasons to put a video on the internet for a public audience it's still the best option you've got. most options can't even get a decent video player going
