I managed to get past those without fighting and grinded a little on some robots, 5100 CP per battle and just a few Thundaras to kill.

Not really, sides that one, every duel i had was pretty much one-sided. In fact, Ragnarok's my favorite team in the game to fight.

The co-op is great sure, but it's not everywhere that we find people with PSPs.
I myself would like a lot more some kind of local co-op by loading from the memory card.
Either way, with the PS3, it'll be perfect.
