A while ago i've been trying to get back every PS1 game i loved to play (And still do) that i lost. Just recently beat Digimon Card Battle and Crash Bandicoot 3 again, still playing Digimon to get 100% and currently looking around for a cheap Tail Concerto, Spyro 2 or Megaman Legends(Never played it though, only Legends 2).
He actually succumbs quite easily to Holy spam, to the point that no-damaging him with Bartz or Terra is just a matter of patience. He's also pretty hard to control if you're playing as him ( i've yet to win a single fight with it >_>), and you gotta spend a whole lot of CP just to negate his downsides, so PvP against him shouldn't be THAT hard. He gets accessories that increase HP by insane amounts like 116K (As well as a 90x Multiplier in the first battle , a 100% Damage Bonus in Ex Mode, and among other things even 9 of the same Star rank accessory couldn't get) on Story mode. As far as i know you can't use those yourself, so it must be hacked. Edit: Ninja'd ._.

Spend all your money, go to Elite Four, fight, kill while spending no items, die somewhere along the way, spend all your money, repeat. That's what i did for Firered, and it worked out pretty well.
