Wasn't sure if this goes in the Squeenix thread or here, so I apologize in advance if I'm wrong. Anyway, tickets go on sale in 2 days time! Is anyone else planning on going?I went last year and absolutely loved it. If anyone is debating whether or not to go I strongly recommend going, it's a really incredible experience! My friend also went last year and met Nobuo Uematsu there, lucky person. For people going/thinking of going, what songs would you like or hope will be on the setlist? I think 'Not alone' from FFIX has to be the one for me.
It was Zidane in IX had a monkeys tail. I've seen this one a couple of times now, but thought I'd throw this one out there, a kind of in-between Sora concept art.
Browsing Amazon I noticed the first two volumes of the 358/2 manga. Very exciting and all but I remember the incident last year or so when I saw the next 3 volumes of the KHII manga up for sale and instantly bought them. When they arrived, they were all in German :( Anyway point is I can't see anything anywhere on the product to indicate what language it is in, and there are no user reviews. I'm not even sure if they're official. Anybody know, or know of a way to find out before I buy them?
I think you did a really fantastic job :) It may be tough but no one could pull it off like you do! I think everyone agrees that these fan dubs are really top notch, amazing quality and just really enjoyable to watch! Don't give up hope!
Like I said before, amazing :) I was kinda hoping for Xigbar to say his 'drowned your goldfish' bit though like in 358/2. No biggie though :)
Amazing! Really well done everybody. Might I add that the Mickey Mouse voice was IMMENSE! Really close impersonation!
Wow I just want to give you a big hug now o.0 Not that you would probably enjoy it, but still :) Also I'm pretty sure this reminds me of a character from somewhere, possibly an anime. Can't think for the life of me which one though.
How rich or poor they are, how well they lived or how painfully they died does not make them any more or less special. I'll say this to you, and nothing more. I pray nothing bad happens to you, and that you have a long and happy life. But most of all I pray that you have people close enough to you to mourn you when you are gone. My compassion may be worthless to you but it's my own. Pain of loss is the proof of love and I would rather live the rest of my life filled with sadness than not have loved enough to care to begin with.
What I meant was that it seems hypocritical for Makaze to keep bringing up the deaths of all the people in war and saying how nobody cares about them as opposed to the 9/11 victims, when he doesn't seem to care about anybody at all. I can honestly say I never thought I would have to argue the case for feeling sorrow for other people's deaths.
Hold up, you seem to assume nobody cares about those people getting killed in the wars. Yes I care about the people who died in 9/11. That does not even one tiny bit lessen what I feel, the sadness and pain and regret that I and many others have about the suffering happening all around the world. However that's not what the joke was about. Rest assured I would have just as quickly spoken out against a tasteless joke about the deaths of anyone, including those involved in the war.If you had your way, you would have it that 9/11 was just a monetary loss? I would wish it had never happened at all. Where is your sense of compassion? Every single one of those people had a life, had a family and friends. You can go on to youtube and listen to the terrified screams of people phoning the emergency services just before the tower collapsed, and then suddenly the phone goes dead. You tell us how bad it is that no one seems to care about those that have dies in the wars. Before you lecture us, try having a little compassion yourself.
Some people were able to joke about it, I doubt very many found it funny. I think the important difference here is having the ability to joke about something and it being generally acceptable to joke about it.
10 years is no time at all for the people who lost friends and loved ones that day. No matter how long has passed, we should still be respectful of other people feelings here. Even if you didn't know anyone who died there, it's still the loss of hundreds and hundreds of innocent lives. I think maybe their lives were worth more than a comic and a snide remark just to get a few cheap laughs.
So I finally got around to watching all the RE:chain of memories cutscenes the other day (boo on Square not releasing it here in the UK ). Anyway was it just me or was Axel's accent all over the place? It's like Quinton Flynn hadn't quite decided whether or not to make him English, American or some weird mix of the two. It kinda grated on me in some parts considering how Axel sounds in KH2 and how much I like Quinton Flynn as a VA. I don't know if RE:CoM was recorded before or after KH2, and that Flynn just hadn't made up his mind on how he should sound. Or maybe Axel just thought he should try going posh for a bit?
heheheh :D No in all seriousness, this thread is perfect for me. ANYTHING by Chris Tomlin counts as amazing. I also think these two songs are two of my favourite songs ever, Christian or not. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsmimYvAWYQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICrUbpf1M_s Now just to spend the next couple of hours listening through all of these :D
Hahah amazing! Aw whatever happened to random NPC's? They only really seem to have them in Traverse town. I loved that guy who ran the shop, and who's brother got turned into a heartless, because you see an Indian version of him in Agrabah in one of the shops!
Spoiler Oh Hai there, David Tennant. Coincidently my cousins are named Eccleston. I'm hoping for a distant relation a certain Doctor :)
Maybe they don't have a choice, or are getting forced into it. I'd have thought Marluxia wouldn't re join of his own accord.
That's good news! But come on, nobody could replace Haley Joel Osment! He basically is Sora!
Maybe that just comes with being No.2 in the organisation?
Don't worry at all! I'm pretty sure I was asleep, it began at midnight here for me so I was just too tired. Anyways, I think it is ongoing for the...
