Lol, that's a good idea...you can do pretty much anything as long as you say, "I'm practicing for my cosplay." I've done that a couple of times this year...David, L, Tyki, Road...all kinds of people.
...I reccomend wearing regular clothes, and slipping the dress on just before their class. If that doesn't work, try just looking crazy in general...it works.
