Sign up for something like swimming or something. I used to have the same issue, but after I got into some things around school (I'm in High School BTW)and other things, I met a lot of people. Like during the summer, I go to this swim club and that's where I met a lot of my friends, even though most don't go to my school (Since I go to a magnet school).

Although I've never smoked, I know from people who did that the biggest issue is not so much the tobacco addiction, but finding something to do with your hands and mouth. My one friend who smoked used to eat lollipops just to do something with her hands while she used the patches too.. I heard they have nicotine lollipops too now anyway. Why don't you try those?
